Fast forward to today with bone loss in my jaw due to an infection in the same tooth root system. Dr. Alvarez did not do all three roots! He only did two of the three per my new amazing dentist, Dr. Patrick Yancy the third. Now I used to be a certified dental assistant and I worked for an endodontist in Pensacola . Our rule of thumb was while you weee doing a root canal, go ahead and do ALL the roots, to prevent your patient from having issues down the road! So, due to the infection and bone loss, I'm having to get this tooth pulled now. Thanks for nothing, Dr. Alvarez!!

I've been blessed with pretty good teeth, but it never bothers me to go and a big part of that is my trust in Dr. Carson. She is extremely knowledgeable and professional, keeps up with the latest techniques without just trying every new gadget for the heck of it. That's why I drive an hour each way to continue with her. I think they are good, honest people with the continuing education to address any needs appropriately and professionally. I have been out of permanent work for two years now with a broken tooth since September. Nancy told me, of course, it would be best to have it addressed immediately, but practically speaking, I could get away with it for a while IF I was very careful. She also warned me to keep in mind that if it DID break further, it could end up a root canal costing twice the money so it was up to me. She is very down to earth and understanding and I had no embarassment telling her of my situation.

I originally came to Newnan Dentistry because I was experiencing pain in one tooth. They treated that tooth, but I was then told that I needed treatment on approximately 10 other teeth. Since then, nearly every tooth they worked on has caused me pain. More than a year later, I am still dealing with tooth pain every single day. After spending over $15,000 here trying to address these issues, I simply cannot afford to continue paying for treatment elsewhere to correct the problems. I eventually went to another dental office for a consultation and was told that there were concerns with the dental work I had received, particularly my most recent root canal. I was also advised by Newnan Dentistry to have my wisdom teeth removed in hopes that it would resolve my pain. I had them removed, yet the pain continued. I now deal with constant tooth pain in my ENTIRE mouth and frequent headaches. While I will say that the customer service here has always been amazing, my experience with the actual dental treatment has been completely different. I genuinely feel as though I was used as a guinea pig for months while trying to figure out why I continued to hurt. I trusted this office with my dental care and spent thousands of dollars trying to get out of pain, only to still be suffering more than a year later. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend Newnan Dentistry. This experience has caused me an incredible amount of pain, stress, and suffering that I continue to deal with every single day.

I was in severe pain from a back molar and couldn't wait two weeks for their next appointment, and since they don't offer gas for anxious patients, I went to another dentist who could treat me immediately. A month later, Yancy Dental informed me they could no longer see me because I sought care elsewhere. After investing thousands of dollars in my dental work there (which constantly needs to be repaired) this was upsetting, and feel people should be aware of how their policies work.

Being a businessperson and worried about first impressions, I was highly concerned if I would ever look "normal again". I received several root canals, crowns and dental implants. At first, again I was worried about how I would look until the porcelain permanent teeth were ready, but Dr. Kumar Patel created a temporary tooth that looked natural within only an hour and removed all anxiety with his work product and even his funny demeanor to make the operation without stress. I was shocked in a good way with his work product and also his prices. Dr. Kumar was very reasonable in every way. I will continue to use his services every few months for basic cleaning and maintenance.

Coweta Dentistry is a dental practice which has 3 different locations which act like they run…read moreindependently. If you want to go to a different location, they'll probably charge you and make you take new xrays for your next dentist. Also, each of the dentists at Coweta Dentistry accept only certain dental insurance plans of their own choosing. Also, if you are a new patient, they will probably assign you to a dentist fresh out of dental school or with minimal experience who knows very little. The most experienced dentist there named Dr Swords, who looks like Spock from Star Trek, takes no new patients because he is just that good. The only staff who do a good job are the dental hygienists who do teeth cleaning. However, if you want a dentistry which does more than teeth cleanings, best you go elsewhere.

No matter what I said she continued arguing with me and instead of de escalating the situation she escalated it. All while dentist Sarah watched. Sarah, who should be in charge because she's the dentist, just watched. No matter what I said I was told I was wrong. I looked at Emily and said "omg this is a dentist office why are you acting like this"? After the argument, I went back with dentist, she made me wear special glasses. I asked why. She raised a metal instrument, and said, "these are sharp tools so the glasses are to protect your eyes". I informed Sarah I've never been told to wear glasses so this was new to me. She informed me it's policy and I just have been given the glasses before. Dentist Sarah and assistant Kim took at least 10-15 X-rays, they couldn't get a good one. They were cutting the roof of my mouth from not being capable of positioning the X-ray tool. At that point I got up and told dentist Sarah I had zero confidence in her skills. She flipped it on me saying "if you can't cooperate that's your decision". I kept asking to get info for someone in charge and Emily kept saying "I'm the one you talk to". I told her someone has to be above her because someone signs your paycheck. She laughed again and gave me the other dr phone number. She escorted me out while shouting in a vulgar way "MERRY XMAS"!
