Dr. Lambert and his staff are courteous, professional, and treat me like family. I am a cancer survivor with horrible dental results due to radiation therapy. I have a condition called radionecrosis which makes dental work very very difficult. I have neglected proper dental care due to embarrassment from the damage done by the radiation. My first visit with Dr. Lambert was due to a damaged tooth that shattered. I was in pain and needed to be seen. They made room for me in the schedule and had me come right in. There was no waiting or delaying for insurance or otherwise. Dr. Lambert and his team have always made me feel comfortable and welcome. He took the time to explain why my problems were radiation related and how a treatment plan could be worked to protect and preserve as much of my original dental work as possible. It has now been 6 years that I have been going to Dr. Lambert and after that first visit. He was right that he is doing his best to help me survive. After numerous root canals, crowns, and cavities he still treats me with care and compassion. He regularly gives out his cell phone number if you have after hours concerns so you dont have to navigate an answering service and wait for return calls. The office staff up front have been nothing but awesome. I have dental insurance and each time they explain any charges and work with me so that I can budget treatment and planning. I never have felt they didn't know my needs or that I was a number. They always are accommodating. A few times dental emergencies have happened between paydays and they always worked with me to make sure I was taken care of first and worked out the business end afterwards. I can say their true motto and mission is to provide top quality dental care in a compassionate and competent office. I would recommend anyone to them without hesitation. My wife sees Dr. Griffies at the same practice and has the same response with him and his staff. I think that CDA is built around that patient first attitude! read more

Coweta Dentistry is a dental practice which has 3 different locations which act like they run independently. If you want to go to a different location, they'll probably charge you and make you take new xrays for your next dentist. Also, each of the dentists at Coweta Dentistry accept only certain dental insurance plans of their own choosing. Also, if you are a new patient, they will probably assign you to a dentist fresh out of dental school or with minimal experience who knows very little. The most experienced dentist there named Dr Swords, who looks like Spock from Star Trek, takes no new patients because he is just that good. The only staff who do a good job are the dental hygienists who do teeth cleaning. However, if you want a dentistry which does more than teeth cleanings, best you go elsewhere. read more

It was a horrible experience going to this place.First of all, they gave me an appointment with one dentist and when I showed up they put me with a different one without ever asking or telling me about it. I went for a simple cleaning and then get sold on a "cavity filling " for my next appointment. I never had any pain in my mouth til I went for my so called cavity filling. When I called to have it checked out by the other dentist they said they wouldn't charge me but sure enough I get a bill a couple weeks later. read more

Dr Grubbs has no bedside manner. He says he's doing what's best for his patient... he's doing what's best for him. If you need endodontic work I would highly recommend going somewhere else unless you want to be bored listening to him talk about everything except what the patient is there for. He will try his best to convince you to see ortho, general... anything to get you out of his office. Especially if it involves someone under 18. He does not like working with children and he will do whatever he can to avoid it. His staff can't tell you that up front they wait until you get there and then you find out. It would seem if you don't prefer to work with minors that you wouldn't allow your staff to schedule one. If you go to him... good luck. Hope your experience is better than mine. read more

Was told I would have to pay over a hundred dollars for X-rays to get a teeth cleaning (with insurance). My old dentist would not send over my previous X-rays without me paying and going to that office to pick them up. The hygienist at Coweta dentistry would not clean my teeth without a full set of X-rays. read more

So disappointed in this practice. My mother had an appointment at 12:45 pm on a Friday. She arrived at 12:40pm and had taken her medication, as directed, prior to the teeth cleaning. After checking her in they called her back over and said her appointment was at 12:30pm, and since she was late they would have to reschedule. She calmly explained that her appointment card said 12:45pm. They asked her if she had her card, which she did. After she showed them the card they said "well would you like to reschedule, and if not, please leave because we can't take you." We will be following up with the dentist himself to ensure he knows he lost 3 patients because of the incompetence and poor customer service of the front of office staff. Inexcusable! read more

I called last week and made a cleaning appointment for today March 13th 2015 I was told to come to their Greenville street Location across from the Dairy Queen My appointment was for 8:30 I arrived early to update my insurance records. After attempting to check in the staff advised me their was no record of an appointment. I left there and went to the main office of the corner of bullsboro and Ruth drive After speaking to the receptionist she said there was no record of my appointment at all How is it I knew to go to their Greenville street office , I had never been there I took the day off work and due to their Sloppy record keeping it was wasted read more

This is not for the Millard Farmer Rd office but for their Oral Dentistry office onRuth Dr. After going in the Millard Farmer office (broke tooth) Dr. Griffies told me the tooth couldn't be saved. They could only get part of it out, the nerve root was exposed so they packed it. They referred me to the Oral surgeon at their Ruth Dr location and said I need to get this done as soon as possible (oh and I had and infected tooth on the other side which they gave me antibiotics for). I called as soon as I got home on Thursday, was put on hold and then thrown into voicemail. Explained all going on, an hour later no return call so I called back (3:15pm) and office was closed even though the answering machine says open until 4pm. Left another message. Called Friday was hung up on 6 times when they tried to transfer me. Called again got general VM and left another detailed message, no return call. So now we are into the weekend. Monday I call, finally get to talk to someone and can't get me in until Wednesday FOR A CONSULT! The other office said I would go and have it extracted WITH a consult. So expectations set wrong, then I couldn't get an appoint for the INFECTED tooth until the 31st of the month! Not sure they realize how serious an infection of a tooth is but could care less. That appointment was for a CONSULT and not to fix the tooth and BTW I need a CT scan which is $200 and no insurance doesn't cover it. I explained the the tooth is infected and she tells me that they will get me in after the consult about a week or 2 later! No sense of urgency and expectations were completely set wrong! I'm dealing with pain and possibly an infection spreading. The office on Millard Farmer is fantastic, caring and compasionate and gets you in ASAP...this office can't even answer a phone! I really do not have high expectations at this point for this office. We will see... read more

I took my son in for his dental cleaning and check up today. After rescheduling due to the covid 19. I got there 15 minutes early and was asked to wait in the reception area, we waited for almost 45 minutes. Then was asked to go in and wait for the dental hygienist another 40 minutes. The dental room was not clean and I didn't see much spraying down chairs. instead a lot of gathering and standing in the hall way instead of cleaning up after patients. When the dental hygienist had finished she said that Dr. Mathews would be in very soon.. after another 39 minutes of waiting I asked the hygienist how long it would take?she said that dr.mathews was washing his hands!!!! Another 20 minutes the reception lady came in to tell us that the doctor was busy and we had to come back another day for the final check up. unprofessional and rude..who schedules an appointment for half the work done and not completed because the dentist couldn't be bothered to stick to his schedule. I will not be returning. Not a clean practice and very disappointed in thier people skills especially Dr. mathews avoid spending your time health or money here. Pick a different practice. read more

Coweta Dentistry Associates delivered really great service until my dental plan changed. Since my daughter and I have been patients for almost 3yrs, I called and made appointments, letting the office know that my dental insurance had changed. I offered to fax a copy of my dental ID card and the person said I can bring it to my appt. When I got to the appt I presented the card and was cleared to have our teeth cleaned. A couple days later I received a phone call stating that my insurance was rejected. I was told that coweta dentistry did not accept my insurance and I would be on the hook for over $500. I honestly thought that this dental practice will make sure that they accept my insurance before we were seen. The front office person stated that this practice does not verify insurance until after patients have been seen. This is obviously after the fact which is not good. I will not be visiting this practice ever again. read more

Everyone from reception, assistant, hygienist and dentists have been empathetic, personable and created a great experience. I've been using the practice for about 2 years and don't have panic attacks before appointments anymore. read more

I tried to make a appointment to have my teeth cleaned and they get transferring me and hanging up. This same issue happened last year and I ended up not even getting a cleaning. I have been a patient here for over 4 years and this problem just start occurring last year . I finally made an appointment for my daughters and asked to schedule my appointment and they told me it would be best to wait and just come during my daughters appointment to schedule it. I called to get a filling and was told they would need to see me and find out where the issue is coming from then schedule another appointment to get to tooth filled. When I was told last time that I needed a filling they found out it was in fact my wisdom tooth which I told them was the issue but the office staff insisted it was a cavity when I called to have the appointment scheduled and I was not able to get in with my regular dentist so I had to see Dr. Parrot and he said that it was a wisdom tooth and removed it the same day. He was excellent and all the dentist seem to be amazing but the office staff is always having issues scheduling and putting the documents in the correct places. I really love the Dentists but after almost two years of issues I will be finding a new family dentist. read more
