Well maintained grounds, beautiful setting, very kind and accommodating owners. They only accept cash or check so come be prepared. The spot we chose was under a shady tree on grass, perfect for our needs. The shower house looked and smelled clean making taking showers enjoyable. Overall a very pleasant stay.

They've been there for over two years now and the park doesn't seem to care that they are permanent there. They still treat them like crap. My daughter is professional and sensitive and caring of others and doesn't deserve what they're doing. Basically they got mad at her for telling someone not to speed through the park and said that it's their job to do that but they don't do it.

They also have a separate swing set which is nice for older kids to sit on and listen to something. In the same area they have a pavilion which has chess, checkers, a grill, and several picnic tables. The chess board can occupy people for a while. Second of all, the staff is nice and friendly. I went in to get a cup of ice and they went and got a cup of ice. Next, they have two separate pools. One that has a game room and is twenty-one and over. The other one was family friendly and was next to the playground. It also had a small splash pad. The showers were clean. Most of them had hooks except for shower one. Also, the park had two areas. One for the long term RVers and one for the people who were only going to stay a few nights. The cabins and treehouses from what I could see were nice. In addition, it is not far from the town but not inside it which gives a sense of peace. If you are a mountain biker or hiker it is not far from the hill/mountain. Finally, the staff were very accommodating. We needed two extra nights and they were so nice and let us have those nights. When we left without our things on the table, they called and asked if we forgot them. And when we were confused they said that we were supposed to leave that morning. We said we needed another night, then they were able to accommodate the change. Overall, an amazing place and experience.

Soooo much potential! Just misses the mark (more on that later) - beautiful location, level lots,…read moretent camping, reasonable rates, lawn well maintained, quiet - really a wonderful setting. First, the camp ground is hard to find - but still the only camp ground for miles - so that is a factor, but not much of one - especially since the two closest camp grounds, were failed ventures (one closed down - the other resembled a scene out of the movie "Deliverance.") Because of our previous two attempts to find a camp ground - we called ahead to make sure they had pull thrus - we only planned on staying one night and didn't want to unhook our tow vehicle. The lady that answered was very pleasant - even warned us not to listen to our GPS for directions or we'd end up at a bridge with an 8 foot height restriction - she gave us alternative directions - which were spot on. There is no office on site and no camp store. Camp fees are posted and paying the fee is on the honor system (at least for overnighters only). The park had cabins that looked like a failed project - there were four - all in varying states of decay. Most campers looked to be long term - and apparently must use their rig showers! The showers showed little care. - the floors were covered with dead bugs, shower curtains moldy. Husband said one of the toilets in the men's restroom was marked "pee only," the other needed a good cleaning - and was unacceptably filthy. All-in-all - if you have an RV that has its own usable showers and toilets and are looking for a place to find peace and quiet - this camp ground might fit your needs.

If the cabin I stayed in is any indication of the level of their plans, you will have an amazing time there! The cabin was comfortable and very clean. The kitchenette was also very clean. The cooking utensils were sparkling! You can tell the pride in ownership by the care and maintenance of the campground. They have pull through and back in sites with 30 and 50 amps sites with full hookups! The views from the platform and boat dock areas are not to be missed. The views from your jet ski and boats are definitely not to be missed! Beaver Lake is large, beautiful, and very clear while refreshing to have a swim! You may even see a bald eagle or two checking out the area! The tent area is on the lower grounds closer to the lake! A major plus is not having a mosquito problem anywhere! Especially close to the lake! The pool is clear and offers a place for the family to enjoy and relax after your day around the area. The general store is always well stocked for anything you may have left behind that you need or want. They are Veteran friendly! If you need anything special, don't hesitate to ask for it. It is a quiet place to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. The owners are always ready to help! I highly recommend this campground to anyone!
