I'm gonna be so honest, I did not like this place. The prices are so high and I don't think the…read morefood lives up to the cost. I paid $30 for a smoothie & soup when I was sick. My smoothie was bland. It wasn't very sweet & didn't taste as good as it looked. The soup had such an odd flavor which was surprising to me because I like everything that's in it. I wouldn't order from here again but the food was still edible so 2 stars.

I absolutely love their motto of, "Fuel Better, Feel Better! The path to feeling and fueling better begins by eating well." & I couldn't agree more! I ordered: Camp Bowie Burger- Brioche bun, house-made patty with black beans, hearty grains, beets, shredded vegetables, aromatic spices, 2 slices of melted cheddar, butter lettuce, tomatoes, Best Maid pickles, red onion and special sauce. Clam Chowder- A hearty hearts of palm 'clam' chowder that offers a filling and comforting taste reminiscent of the eastern coast. I was really surprised by the texture and taste!!! Definitely reminded me of Clam Chowda! Their menu of plant-based bowls, juices, light bites, desserts and hearty meals is crafted with love and far from garden variety. They serve food you can feel good about, always without preservatives, dairy, animal products, chemicals or refined sugar! & I love their Loyalty program too! They Voted Best Healthy Bite by Fort Worth Magazine in 2021 & 2023. & One of my other favorite Vegan Spots that closed last year, Vice Burger on Magnolia won in 2024. #ClamChowder #BlackBeanBurger #Vegan #FortWorth #PlantBased

Chelsea has been with Kava and provided great detail on the benefits of the different Kava they have. She is such a sweetheart, friendly, caring, attentive, and provided exceptional customer service. Chelsea also informed me about the different events they have every week, which are: Monday -- Massage 7 p.m.-10 p.m. $20 for 20 minutes Tuesday -- Bingo/Poker Wednesday -- Open Mic Thursday -- Trivia Friday -- Karaoke Saturday -- Live music Sunday -- Movie night They also have a happy hour from 4 p.m.- 6 p.m. daily. Chelsea noticed that my baby boy was beginning to get fussy, and she took out some blocks which definitely helped. They also have a few blankets, and they came in handy since my baby boy wanted to be on the floor. I can't stress enough how helpful it was. I appreciate you so much, Chelsea. Cecilia is fairly new to the Kava team, but she's doing amazing work, and also provided great customer service and was friendly. Thank you, Cecilia. Chelsea made a bomb apple crisp latte. It was delicious 10/5 I also had Kava and I tasted the peppermint first, then the bitter earthy taste, and it made my tongue numb for a bit, which is what Chelsea mentioned. The Kava we had was a welcoming drink, and we all said, "BULA." Bula means life or good health. It was a great experience since it was my first time having Kava and Chelsea and Cecilia made it such a good experience. The ambience was so calming and mellow. I saw some people working on their laptops while I was there. It's a spot to socialize, read, work, etc. I'll definitely be back to try other drinks and my husband will join me or friends. Hehe he If you have yet to stop by, I highly recommend you do and if you're not a fan of the bitter earthy taste, Chelsea, Cecilia or any other staff member can help you with picking a drink or drinks you'll like depending on your preference.

Isn't the historic Camp Bowie Boulevard corridor, and there is plenty of parking absolutely free. If you like a really great fulfilling breakfast with healthy choices, this is your place! The waiters and waitresses are on top of your needs, and there's a fresh pot of coffee set on your table in the morning, big enuf that you don't need to ask for refills! The pricing is a little bit above the waffle house down the street, but the quality in the ambience is many many many times better. All I can say is l: no matter how you order your breakfast, it is going to be well done! In the best sense!

It's a breakfast spot with…read morea loyal following, a small footprint, and a wait that will test your commitment to eggs. Spoiler: it's worth it, with a few asterisks. First, the logistics. The space is cozy, which is a polite way of saying it is not built for large groups or people who like personal space. The wait can be substantial, and the indoor holding area is limited, if the weather is doing something dramatic, you'll want to know that before you commit. The real secret, which I discovered the hard way, is that you can join the waitlist online before you even leave the house. Life-changing information that arrived too late for us. Learn from my mistakes. Once seated, the coffee is hot, the iced tea is fresh, a surprisingly rare achievement at breakfast hours, and the menu has enough options to cause genuine decision paralysis. We ordered two Traditional Breakfasts, both over easy eggs, both crispy bacon. One arrived cooked to absolute perfection, eggs exactly as requested, bacon doing exactly what bacon is supposed to do. The other arrived with eggs cooked firmly over hard. Same table, same order, same server. How does this happen? It is one of breakfast's great unsolved mysteries. The breakfast potatoes, meanwhile, showed promise, well seasoned and flavorful, but arrived in a mixed state of doneness that required careful excavation to find the fully cooked ones. It was less of a side dish and more of an archaeological dig. The third order, the Tri-Fecta, came with a multigrain pancake the size of a small continent, which almost made up for the potato situation. And then there was the Million Dollar Bacon. We didn't order it. The table next to us did. I watched it arrive and I am still not over it. Order the Million Dollar Bacon. Do not make my mistake. Do not be me. First Watch is a solid breakfast spot with real upside, get on the waitlist before you leave home, order the bacon, and maybe double-check your eggs before your server walks away.
