Cowgirl Cosmo

Food is yummy. Margaritas are excellent. Cowgirl Cosmo is great! Bartenders are awesome. Great ambiance.

I love this local Mexican place. the food is relatively authentic. the inside décor is very cultural, and it feels like you are in a little bodega. this place tends to get super busy on a Friday or Saturday night. I also love that there is now a little outside patio area. I have tried various things on the menu. the chips and salsa are great. I have also had the burritos, quesadillas, and fajitas. if you are in the area, I recommend giving this place a try. the staff is also very friendly, which always makes the experience even better.

We went out to dinner with Teagan, Liv and friends. 6 of us- 20 minute wait. Not bad. I started with the margarita flight. All delicious. I like the middle one the best. Fresh chips. Fresh salsa. House made crispy chips and fresh light salsa. On to tacos. I had ahi tuna tacos. Loaded with rare sushi grade ahi tuna. Really great. T got a gigantic plate of nachos. Service was amazing. Attentive and friendly. And all reasonable priced. A great meal at a local place.

Went to this place for the first time this past weekend. Very nice authentic Mexican vibe and the waitress was amazing. This place was packed with people so I assumed it was going to all be amazing food. I ordered a Mexican stir fry, great selection of veggies but very bland and the chicken had a odd taste. The "authentic rice" tastes like quick Mexican rice(pasta sides) with tomato paste added to appear authentic. I'm a foodie an cook myself so I was hoping I wasn't just being a food snob, however the rest of my party did not enjoy their food either. BUT if you are looking to get a nice buzz an get your money worth with a couple drinks. This is the place to go for margaritas/drinks. I would just eat before you go.

My husband had heard that the margaritas at this restaurant were great, so we put it on our places to try. The rumors were true! We ordered the margarita flight which consists of three great house concoctions. I was pleased to see a blackened salmon quesadilla on the menu. It was good! My husband ordered the Tex Mex stir fry and was pleased that it was not swimming in onions, rather had a nice variety of veggies. The atmosphere is simple, wooden bench booths with fun decor and Tex-Mex accents. The staff was nice also. Beware, they have a two margarita limit, but two is enough! The bar area was quiet and had no television.

The salsa had no flavor. Tasted like tomatoes. The taco salad was ok . Would not go back .

Went here for Thursday dinner and I was surprised at how many people there were, the place was packed!! We started off with chips and salsa and I was obsessed with the salsa, it was so interesting they added carrots & corn and a lot of cumin spice. I figured it was homemade, and got confirmation from the waitress. We got a beer and a seltzer because we didn't notice the margaritas menu tucked away on the table. They were fine. But once we found the margaritas menu, game over. My husband got a mango Margarita and I got a strawberry Margarita. They were SO STRONG. There's a disclaimer on the menu that if you're driving they suggest a "half-marg". We ended up ordering shrimp quesadilla and steak fajitas. The shrimp were huge and juicy. They also brought out a second order of chips and salsa for us, we couldn't get enough of the salsa. The fajitas were okay, the meat was an interesting texture, and the Tex Mex spices were different from what I'm used to with authentic Mexican, but not bad just different style of cuisine! I think once they open the patio it'll be a really cool spot in the summer time!

Veggie tacos, (I ate the broccoli off the top)

The Oktoberfest items are glorified and over-processed, "let me take the cheap way out", cafeteria food.

Love the food, Y'all. Great pit stop after a long day. I just wish the bar offered more than chips & salsa for the "Happy Ours."

My order included the saucedo taco, pulpo taco and watermelon marg. Saucedo taco = brisket and avocado w/ onions. This was AMAZING and I will add to any future order. Pulpo taco = octopus with sauce + veg. This was OK, tasted very charred and was chewy. I was excited to try octopus, but it might not be my thing. The watermelon marg was very mild in flavor and I personally would prefer it to have been sweeter. Overall, great experience, wonderful waitstaff who split our bill perfectly, some of the food was not exactly my taste, and the wait was long. I will have to come back and find my favorite foods. The decor was very cozy and you could sit indoors or outdoors.

Still a 20 minute wait. They take your phone number & call when table is ready. And the wait was fine. Cotton Hollow perserve is across the street, so a short walk over there and back worked out a perfect way to pass the time. We were seated in the bar area - at a regular table. It was decorated in a fun way - fish artwork, a tv, natural wood. We didn't quite understand the surf board that hung over the bar though? My daughter & I started with a drink - I had mango pina colada, she had a drink with gin, cranberries. Both good. Food - exceeded my expectations. I had the enchilada duo. Chicken & beef. I usually like beef better, however I think the chicken was in a mole sauce - so delicious. Husband had 2 brisket tacos that he loved. Daughter had the rice bowl (with chicken). Decided to split the churros for dessert. Came with: ice cream, Carmel & chocolate sauce. Yes - we will be back. I saw a patio outside. Warmer weather is coming

Puerto Vallarta for Cinco de Mayo was a WHOLE experience…read more This place was PACKED from start to finish, but honestly? The vibe made the wait worth it. There were lines everywhere, the parking lot was full, and the restaurant was extremely busy but the energy was so good it barely even felt like we waited long. They had two DJs, one inside and one outside on the deck area where there was also an outdoor bar. The music was nonstop and the DJ played a mix of everything, so people were dancing the entire night. While waiting for our table, we grabbed drinks outside and ended up dancing inside too We waited about 30 minutes to be seated (plus another 10 because we missed our first call while vibing on the deck ), but once we sat down everything moved smoothly. Drinks were STRONG and definitely worth the price I had a couple shots plus both the original and strawberry margaritas, and both were really good. The food? 10/10. We got tacos, quesadillas, sizzling fajitas, and fresh guacamole made tableside right in front of us. Everything came out hot, flavorful, and delicious. The fajitas coming out sizzling definitely turned heads I also appreciated how organized everything still felt despite the crowd. There was security at the front entrance, inside, and near the side exits, which helped things feel safe and controlled during such a busy event. This was the perfect spot to celebrate with friends. Great music, strong drinks, delicious food, and an atmosphere that felt like a real party from beginning to end. Would absolutely come back for another holiday, weekend or summer night on the deck

Yummy food and good service, Macario was phenomenal, always happy and attentive. The restaurant was crowded, the only thing that was uncomfortable was the noise, music to loud so you can barely hear your own conversation. But everything else was just right. Btw thank you for the B52 shots, those were the cherry on top kind of evening.

We had tickets at eight for Haunting at the Ridge about three minutes away. After looking at the menu, we decided to come here for dinner. I was very excited because of all the great menu options. The service was terrible from the start all around. We arrived at 6:15. There was two people in front of us. The hostess acknowledged us, but never took our name. A few minutes later, other people started coming in and she started taking their names and asking them if they wanted to sit outside. She never gave us that option. One of the people came in and started to debate whether or not they wanted to wait 20 minutes. She told them "You can stay or go, it doesn't matter to me." I should have known right there to leave. We were seated at 6:30 which was not a bad wait. 6:45 our orders were taken. Our waitress did not come back to the table one time after bringing our drinks. Never checked on us, never let us know what was going on with the food. She came back at 7:28 with our appetizer. We asked her how long would it take for the rest of our food. She apologized and said it would be another 20 to 25 minutes. I didn't understand how burgers take over an hour to make. We canceled the rest of the order. I was excited about the hotdog. Another letdown. It was cold when I got it and the chili on top had no flavor. I'm not even sure if it was deep-fried. Definitely not worth the $14.50 price. I will say the fries were very good. They were the only bright spot of the night. They have a lot to offer, but I would never come back here due to my experience.
