First time going into a coyote coffee, and I'ma say it was actually really good. I had it inside around nine A.M. on a Saturday and there was only a couple people in the drive-through. The inside set up is so cute. And I was agreed as soon as I came into the store. I told the girl no rush. Because honestly I've never been had. No clue what to do. I ended up settling for the dolly because it was advertised. And of course it's Dolly Parton. I also ordered one of the cake pops except it's made from macaroons and gluten-free. I got the cotton candy and it was a little pricey at five dollars. But I must say it was really good. In the flavor was light and not overpowering. The dolly coffee was pretty good, but I don't think I would get it again because I like my coffee. A little stronger, and the three shots wasn't enough for me. Also, got a danish which had a lot of potential. However, they only had a microwave and not a toaster. Also got the hedgehog protein shake and it was very sweet. In a good way and taste it. Like no baked cookies. Ended up walking out of coyote. Coffee. Spending $100. But of course, had to purchase two T-shirts and two danishes to go. The coffee smelled absolutely amazing. And I think next time I will buy a bag of it. When I went to leave around 915. It started to get really busy. I went past the next day, and it was crazy packed. Very cute building with amazing design, perfect spot to just hang out. The coffee is organic which is always great, but the coffee as a whole was nothing too special, pretty standard for a quick stop coffee shop. The seasonal flavors were tasty and unique. Cool little spot here in downtown Pickens. Thoughtful modernistic design and the cornhole boards with turf outside make it an approachable spot for many different walks of life. I had a standard oat milk iced latte that was very good & my fiancé had the same flavored with the "Gnarly Surfer" combo. Delicious all around. Friendly and prompt service. Came in on a rainy day 07/29/2025 and I was greeted by the sweetest barista, I am sure her name was Aubrey or Audrey. She had a big smile. She's always kind and, hands down, the standout at this store. Every time I come in and see her, my day gets brighter because I know my coffee will be perfect, and from our conversations, it's clear she's strong in her faith, which makes her even more special. She made my spiced chai with so much care it was warm, cozy, and exactly what I needed. Meanwhile, the other girl just stood on her phone, but Aubrey or Audrey completely carried the experience with her kindness and great service. Coyote is lucky to have her. read more

I'm riding a bike to every coffee shop in America, so parts of my review will reflect that perspective! Firstly, it is on the downtown strip which as a bicyclist is my favorite kind of coffee stop. Easy to bike to and I enjoy looking around at old buildings and looking for murals It has outdoor seating, which is also a plus, as I like to be outdoors as much as possible and watch the world go by. The server was neither unfriendly or friendly. I do prefer the talkative types as a big part of the reason I hit local coffee shops is for the possibility of conversation. Their pesto breakfast sandwich was SOO GOOD! Unfortunately their matcha tea latte was not what I'm used to. It tasted fine but way too much water and no sugar/sweetener at all. If that's what you're into then it's great! But they should let you know it comes like that. I'm used to a creamier matcha and there was just more water than milk in mine then I would've like. We visited the Pickens location today, and while the coffee was the same as the 2 other locations we've visited, I much prefer the atmosphere at this location. The architecture and interior design of the shop are remnant of a simpler time. This location also seems to have a much wider array of items for sale. This has been my hangout spot lately. The coffee is always great, the music is awesome, the vibe is comfy. I'm able to chill here while reading a book. I cannot speak for the food beyond a couple of pastries that I've had (they were very yummy). However, I hope to try out breakfast or lunch soon. The coffee is much much more flavorful than their commercialized giant counterparts (Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts) so you cannot go wrong. If coffee isn't your thing, they also have smoothies available.
