Been going to Coyote since moving here in '18. Dave has always treated me fairly. Bought tires 5 years ago and had nothing but problems with them. Didn't purchase the road hazard, so that's on me. I only drive about 1k miles a year. After my 4th flat brought it in. They changed the flat and just left the spare in the back of my truck. Went back they put the spare back where it belonged and left the jack and tools in the bed. Just lazy, shoddy work. read more

I'm going to share the short story version. I brought my truck in to swap tires and rims with a set I bought elsewhere. There was a miscommunication to when I arrived to pick up the truck, the old tires and the ugly wheels were on the truck. To add to it, I had a TPMS sensor replaced. It was a bad situation to where now they would have to take off the existing tires and TPMS sensors. Dave, the manager, was very composed and had a really good attitude about it even though if it were me, I'm not so sure. He called me after correcting the mistake and tells me that his guy cracked one of my side mirrors. Without hesitation, he says he has a replacement on order would be there the following day. They replaced the mirror and everything turned out great. This was an example of great customer service and I plan to use them again. This is my second review for Coyote Tire Pros and I feel it is time to do another one. As a person who spent several years of his former management career in a service shop, I pride myself on being "handy" and being able to do a lot of auto maintenance myself. As a teacher now, I am also usually very busy and do not have a lot of time to spend doing brakes and oil changes. For several years now, I have been blessed to have a place that I can bring my family's cars when there is something I do not have the time, energy or the skills to repair. That place is Coyote Tire Pros. Joe, Dave and the rest of the crew at Coyote are people i can depend on to take care of my cars. They know me, they know my cars and I trust them to be professionals. They do great work and the prices are more than fair. On a personal note, I know that due to the pandemic, the last year has not been good to Coyote Tire. Business dropped for a while as less people were servicing their cars. I was hoping that Coyote Tire did not become another economic victim of Covid-19. I am happy to say that in March of 2021 they are still open and still doing GREAT work. With the pandemic on the decline now, I am so happy that they hung on through the storm that was the pat year. I've been taking my car to this place for several years for oil changes, tires + tire rotation, brakes and suspension service since they are the closest shop to where I live. There has been 2 or 3 times where I questioned the pricing of some service (got it resolved, or I understood why). Or, getting a "Recommended Service" that wasn't really needed, either based on the mileage of my car or just not needed (such as Power Steering service). But overall, I like 'em as I can usually get either a "walk-in" or early next morning appointment w/o any trouble. I too started getting texts (my preferred method of communication) from the Extended Warranty place. But, I told them that I wasn't interested and that was that. Also, if the service will take too long, they are happy (at least outwardly :) ) to give me a ride home and pick me up when done. read more

I previously went to Coyote for work because they are located close to my work. The last time I went was to get an oil change. After this, oil started leaking out from around the plug. I went back and they said that the oil pan had stripped threads and that it would cost almost $1,000 for a new oilpan. I went to another mechanic, who said that the plug had been overtorqued, which had caused the threads to strip. He charged $500 to replace the oilpan. I went back and questioned Coyote about the overtorqueing. They denied it was them, saying it could have been someone else who changed the oil. I had only been getting the oil changed there and I asked them to check their records. They got defensive about this. So, I don't go there anymore. When I was younger, I changed oil myself and never made a newby mistake like overtightening the plug. If they can't do a simple oil change right, what can they do? A coworker of mine had a similiar issue, but in his case they simply didn't tighten the plug enough and it leaked oil. Hmmmm.... :( read more

This is my go to car repair/routine maintenance spot. Aside from always providing fast and affordable service, they always stop what they are doing to help me in a crisis. I once dropped my phone into the hood of my car. I was expecting an important telephone interview within the hour. I reached out my hand and quickly realized the phone was out of my grasp. I contemplated holding my 11 year olds legs while lowering him into the engine area filled with sharp objects and moving parts. Then I thought "ehhhh better not". So I started to panic. After scrambling for an hour to engineer some sort of intricately designed, large pokey stick to help dislodge the phone from the hood, I finally admitted defeat. I pulled into Coyote Tires looking like what can only be described as a caffeine fueled, frantic women with a broken spirit and yoga pants. In my anxiety fueled rage I explained what happened and within minutes they had my car on a lift and successfully retrieved the phone. Most recently we had a significant amount of work done and not only was Coyote Tires the best pricing, but they also completed the work within a day. My mom went there for an oil change. They didnt want to accept the coupon that was purchased from living recently. But then they said they would. However, they added so many fees that the price turned into what they would've paid without the coupon. But what's worse, is how rude and unprofessional they were to them and my brother when he called to question the fees. GO ELSEWHERE!! read more

Corner cutting work. Came in the other day to get my window regulator replaced. Got home only to notice that the switch was backwards (down was up and up was down). Not sure how mechanic misses that, all you need to do is press a button. The manager at the desk had the nerve to sit there and explain how polarity works. I'm not stupid, yet he did his best to make it seem like his mechanic wasn't at all at fault. Then a couple days later I find that my truck is leaking. Look under there and find out that they never bothered to change the oil filter when I got my oil changed there, and there is a pin sized hole that looks to be from channel locks being used to tighten it. Oil filters should be tightened by hand only. Needless to say that I highly recommend you avoid this place. I will never visit here again. Its a fool me once sham on you, fool me twice shame on me situation. read more

We brought my Jeep Wrangler for an oil change because We were heading to San Diego for the weekend my whole family, well when we were on our way, almost half way the engine light came on and then it said hot oil. We were surprised due to the fact that we just got the oil change, which that has never happened, we had to head back to Phoenix, and we called this place to let them know of the incident, since they were the last people to touch the car, they told us to come back to the shop after we got back, they "checked the jeep" and said the oil was fine, so maybe there is something else wrong with it, this was on Saturday we did not move the jeep not until Monday and we checked it before moving it, to find out that this people did not put the cap back on, it was sitting on the battery the whole time ... so all the dust and all the oil was just coming out or who knows what.... we went back to their shop to talk to them about it and ll they said was to come back for when the manager is back because he is only there 7 - 4, it was 3:30 when we went. Went in for a tire patch they said it would be about 30 min. An hour later they finally get to my truck, the guy puts it on the lift and disappears for 15 min before he comes back to start on it. I was there just under 2 hours for a patch. That's ridiculous! They weren't even that busy. read more
