They are 50-50. Sometimes good. Sometimes sketchy. Allegedly they own the motorcycle shop next door. Had my motorcycle oil change next door. Next day motor cycle got speed wobbles went down. Then I took my SUV to true blue for suspension work, some how my battery terminals were lose, disconnected while driving, lost power steering brake pressure ect, they blamed me even tho that never happened for 4 years of ownership until they touched my vehicle. Do not go here for reliable, quality , and honest mechanic! also by the way, come to find out was grossly over priced. Brake work on a vehicle is not rocket science and they obviously don't have a clue! Your brake pedal is not supposed to go to the floor after they replaced my power booster and master cylinder. and when I ask them to fix this, they try to tell me that it's because I need new brake pads in my back wheels "their paper, thin" which is completely wrong. I have at least 20,000 miles left at the minimum on those brake pads in the back, I had just replaced the front ones 4 weeks prior, only because they said at my last oil change, that my pads were "paper thin" when in actual The front pads had plenty of pad left as well! I had my companies mechanic look at the extra travel in my brake pedal and he recognized right away the problem was that they did not bleed all the air out of the master cylinder that I had them replace. lesson learned. Don't give your hard earned money to a shady outfit like this one. Well, when I went to see if they would have the integrity to correct the problem that's when, well I found out that this is a reoccurring problem with the owner and I think his son, because I was cost out and told never to come back and actually had to call the cops because he slammed the door on me. I felt assaulted me, and then when I talk to the police officers, they said that this is a common occurrence with these people, so I do not recommend dealing with that kind of people. Terrible customer service, terrible shop. My wife took her car in and asked for a tune up. They proceeded to replace the spark plugs without looking at them and never checked anything else. When I called to ask about it they responded with a tune up just means replacing the spark plugs (simple google search shows they're wrong) and does not cover any inspection or anything else. read more

We live in El Mirage and try to use businesses locally. A year ago our 19 year old daughter took our Ford Taurus in for an oil change. They overtightened the oil filter. Luckily we love 5 minutes away. By the time our daughter came home half of the oil had leaked out. My husband took it back immediately and they performed a new oil change. We thought it was just an accident. December 27 our son took our Chrysler in for an oil change. This should be a comprehensive service where all fluid levels are checked. Today our son drove over from Tempe in the Chrysler and the temperature shot up. My husband checked the fluid levels for the coolant and there was almost none in the reservoir. He added half a gallon of coolant. We spent over $1,200 a year ago having a coolant hose replaced at this shop. Beware of going to this shop for service. They are not detailed and clearly either don't have the skills or don't care about doing repairs properly. Cars are expensive and being good about regular repairs should keep your car and pocketbook healthy. This shop will just take your money. Update: We took our Chrysler to Firestone. Thankfully the lack of coolant did not blow a head gasket. $717 later, our vehicle is repaired. I also discovered that my vehicle that had it last oil change at True Blue - they apparently drilled a hole in my oil pan after stripping the threads and put the heli-coil "fix" without telling me. Now, I will need to have my oil pan replaced on a car with only 36k miles. Never, never again will we use True Blue. Use a reputable shop or the dealer. It isn't worth the expense later down the road to use this to place where they don't stand by their work and continue to make the same mistakes on vehicles. read more

I took both vehicles to get second opinions and they were repaired for a fraction of the cost. I have also waited over 2 months to write my review in case I was wrong. Nope, cars work great. I went to change my truck battery and noticed that my battery cable terminal was pretty much snapped in half, I took my truck into Anthony & they took a look at it and had the cables & terminal replaced in under an hour. Feel like these guys can definitely give alot more transparency and better customer service on what could be goin wrong with customers vehicles when told what the cust is there for. Customer service was lacking ALOT and they seem pretty dull, like its another day in hell. Told them what i was wanting to get checked and charged $50 for a quick diagnostic on what i already knew was wrong. Other mechanics would have loved to come outside and take a quick look and tell me then and there and putting extra customer satisfaction for the customer with a quick look at the vehicle instead of trying to get cash into their shop and selling. They didnt bother checkin the air filter i had told them to look into and was possibly wanting changed, but quoted me for my a/c compressor that was noisy and the radiator fans that are also "going bad" and while its nice to also tell me my brakes are low (which were actually replaced and done pretty recently), im sure they didnt bother checking my air filter to see if it actually needed to be replaced. This place will definitely try to sell a little more than other places out there so the trust is definitely not good here. Theres definitely other places to look other than this shop if you're needing more than just a cheap oil change. read more

Owner was right there, he said I don't have an actual 'quote' and the office gal reassured me "it's pretty messed up" as if that was good enough and I should take her advice on auto mechanics. Owner produced a quote and went over it with me and the mechanic. I asked about any other options or payment plans, he said there were none. I told him I simply didn't have $1587. He said, "Well how much do you have?" I thought there were no other options I told him. He said, "Well maybe a discount or something." I thought to myself, wow did I just look like I was worth $1587 when I walked in the door? True Blue has the highest markup on parts pricing that I've ever seen. When I dropped off my car the mechanic informed me that there might parts that need to be replace in order to install everything which was nice that he told me ahead of time. The mechanic also told me it would be done the next day. After dropping off my car I got a text message from True Blue that informed me that they were working on my car and I needed to replace my stabilizer links. The text message included photos of my cracked and worn out links. The text also had a link that took me to a quote for the parts and labor and asked if I wanted to accept or decline. I accepted the repair. This was super convenient. The next day I received another text from True Blue saying my vehicle was ready for pick up. Used to be a good, quick, inexpensive place for an oil change, but the last few visits they've been pushing up-sells. Like "you need a new air filter" (it was actually replaced the previous oil change, so not due yet) "brakes need to be done" (I asked ALL of them? They said yes. I said, that's funny, because the front ones were just done about 5k miles ago. Then he says - oh yeah... just the back ones that really need it.) My last visit there convinced me to start doing my own oil changes again. First time doing it myself again I find out they stripped my oil plug and seriously over tightened it. The second time I discover that they also stripped one of the screws on my air filter housing, lost one, and the other 2 are on so tight it'll be a miracle if I get then off without stripping them read more
