We met Zean at one of our mutual friend's baby shower, and we instantly fell in love with how natural Zean connected with the guest to capture those perfect spontaneous moments during the shower. My boyfriend (at the time) and I turned to each other and said, "We have to book this guy for when we get engaged!" Having Zean take our maternity photos was the best decision ever! I am very particular on the kind of modern yet natural feel for photography with our family photos and yet he has captured it beautifully for our maternity shoot. What an incredible journey it has been with Zean. Everything from the initial consultation to the execution and delivery of our memories, nothing fell short from what Zean advised he could deliver. Because he served all that and more. Consultation - We were able to work with Zean in tailoring a package that best fit us as we had a destination micro wedding - albeit wedding in Las Vegas but required travel no less. The conversation went with such ease and we were able to dig deep into the mood we were looking for, strong and weak points, food we like to eat and more. Execution - I can say without a doubt that Zean is amazing at what he does. I am typically not one for photos unlike my husband and always unintentionally ruin photos. We were able to find our groove pretty quickly after a few pointers during our engagement shoot which I was able to take with me into our wedding. Beyond that, he was able to travel and shoot on his own while giving ample amount of time to the schedule, work with tricky lighting inside The NoMad, pose 15+ people for a Vanity Fair Oscar Party Mark Seliger-esque shoot, and finding details that we missed. This is as good as it gets! The pandemic gave the bride and groom no choice...they had to cancel a wedding they had planned for 2 years. When they found out they could get a marriage license in time for their late May date, they decided to go forth and celebrate the day with a Zoom audience and make their day as special as possible. Due to COVID-19 I never had any newborn photos of my baby so it was so important to capture all the precious moments as much as possible and Zean did just that.
