Rum Barrel drink from Roxi Rocket's Tiki Cocktails class

Each of the virtual cocktail classes that I have done on Cozymeal were absolutely fantastic (shout out to mixologists Roxi Rocket and Professor Baker. Their cocktail classes are fun and engaging and very affordable at $19 per class. They provide the recipes and shopping list ahead of time so that you can purchase everything prior to the class. They also will provide substitutions if you can't find an ingredient or don't like one of them! Cozymeal also does private events with a minimum of 10 devices attending. I organized a private tiki cocktail event with Cozymeal for a surprise birthday party and it was a hit! The mixologists and Cozymeal staff were all very responsive and easy to work with. I highly recommend these classes!

We had a cooking class on making Spanish tapas with Chef Iain. As newbies, when it comes to cooking, we were dubious about how the class would go, but also excited to do something special for my partner's birthday. Chef Iain was friendly, informative, and had a great sense of humor. He let us place our coats on the dining room chairs, welcomed us into his kitchen where ingredients were already set aside, and let us enjoy our wine (that we brought) as he instructed us on the various tips, tricks, and approaches to making these delicious appetizers. And yes, they are filling and delicious. My partner and I are looking forward to making them at home. We will miss the presence of our cooking companions and Chef Iain. Flour and Spoon, I will be on the lookout for the tiktok :P ! Thank you Chef Iain for making this an enjoyable experience and making us panna cotta with blueberries to commemorate Javier's b-day. While the price is intimidating, it is well worth the experience to have a professional show you the ropes to making a new cuisine under their guidance. Guess the food does taste better when one puts the labor into it. My favorite tapas we made was a tie between the bacon wrapped dates and the shrimp and pesto Flatbread.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for two of us. The night of class there was a snowstorm that forced us to be late due to traffic and snow. Typed the address provided into Google Maps and the address takes you to a place three miles away. By the time we arrived at the address provided we found an empty building and realized we were in the wrong spot. This location was actually in a mall, but the instructions did not mention that. Needless to say we were over an hour late. Tried to call the number on file but did not receive a call back for two days. When talking to customer service all they could provide was a $50 gift card and the attitude that this act of god was my fault for missing it. Four weeks later and still no gift card. Not asking for my money back just to allow us to enjoy this Christmas gift.

I was running out of Valentine's Day ideas and I came Cozymeal! I booked it days before and it worked out perfectly!. Our chef was chef Iain and we did Spanish Tapas with a twist. He was prompt, funny and very knowledgeable. He treated us like family. I doing think you'll go wrong with him. Overall we had an awesome time

My wife and I had Chef Jace come to our Long Beach, CA home for a cooking class. We selected the listed "For the Love of Seafood" option and the experience could not have gone better. Chef Jace arrived at the set time and was extremely friendly. My wife and I immediately made a personable connection as soon as we all greeted! During the class in our home, we learned a number of details such as how to correctly pan fry fish (or any meat for that matter). The skin of the snapper was so crisp and the flesh of the meat was very clean and fresh tasting. Chef Jace gives very detailed step by step easy instructions during the cooking class. Jace was very patient with my initial slow knife skills and I unquestionably left the class a much more efficient knife handler. Chef Jace also taught us the steps of making Heirloom Tomato and Crab Salad which tasted out of this world. The Sweet Potato Cheesecake made me want to enter into a dessert heaven. Chef Jace is a native of Louisiana and graduated from a well notable culinary school within this state. Chef Jace is a super talented chef and all around gifted & intelligent human being of whom my wife and I were blessed to meet and be taught by. You can't go wrong with hiring Chef Jace as a personal chef or as a cooking instructor in your home! We are privileged to write this review on behalf of our experience with the class, food quality & overall treatment!

Chef Cregg hosted a pasta challenge as a team building experience for our sales team of 11. Cheff Cregg agreed to host the event in culver city instead of Hollywood, saving us travel time. I don't know of many business willing to alter location. Thank you to Lauren for making arrangements. It was a beautiful evening and we had a wonderful time that will be talked about for years. The charcuterie board was amazing, Chef Cregg provided the best instructions and our finished products were a sight to behold. I highly recommend Chef Cregg and his team building class.

There are only a handful of places to take private cooking classes and there were only a couple available to teach us. I found another place through this cozymeal, and they were able to find me a chef but I had no clue where we'd be (location wise - kitchen, house..). I just couldn't trust that we'd be in a location as cute as La Cuisine. So I decided to book with them since Yelp has such cute pictures of the inside.. my only worry was the very few reviews. But I took that chance and when we arrived everything looked exactly what people posted on here..but even cuter! Chef Paru & Sophia were so welcoming and per the group - they were both attentive but also giving us enough space to try on our own. Also, didn't realize my cutting technique was wrong until taking this class haha! I rarely cook, but now I know going forward! I'd definitely recommend this place if you're looking for great instruction and something a somewhat intimate vibes and not within a standard industrial kitchen. Very low stress with simple instructions (even though I butchered the egg count, but the hosts were nice enough to give me a new bath of eggs). Five days later and no contact from Pam. I was so excited to take my mister to their Father's Day class. We're empty nesters and this was meant to be a special treat for both of us. He's not big on cooking classes but the posted menu was appealing and I promised to do all the heavy lifting. Ribeye Steak -- thought we'd learn some new techniques to elevate our steak prep game. Mexican Street Corn Dip and Homemade Tater Tots -- summer corn is a family favorite and the thought of making homemade tater tots was intriguing. Smash Burger Sliders -- wanted to learn to consistently nail that crispy exterior. Inexplicably, we were paired with another pair -- a single dad with an 8 yo kid. Neither the mister nor I wanted this but we didn't want to make a scene or hurt anyone's feelings. We didn't even realize we were paired with them until the chef pointed out that our mise en place tray was setup for four. Why?? 1. The Mexican Street Corn Dip which I think was supposed to be an appetizer, was completely omitted. However, we did make a grilled corn salad as part of the meal. There was no appetizer served when we arrived. 2. Instead of homemade tater tots we made potato wedges. 3. The team we were paired with was lovely. However the class was well beyond their skill level. So instead of taking on the bulk of the work for 2 people, I did the bulk of the prep for 4 people. The course description says there may be seasonal substitutions but these substitutions utilized the same core ingredients. This was more work than I anticipated and left me feeling a bit overwhelmed and behind schedule. This threw the timing off and my mister enjoyed his steak alone while I was still standing at a hot stove prepping food for 4 people. Not the fun afternoon of "us" time I'd envisioned. Overall this was a subpar experience in so many areas that mattered to us. Left me personally disappointed and apologizing to my mister for the poor planning and execution. Could have spent the same amount of money without the hour+ drive and had a better experience.
