Cynthia answered the phone herself when I called! This meant the world to me....after a few calls where I reached an FTD type call center (out of area, or out of country?). I NEEDED to talk to a local florist.... How would I know I would stumble upon probably one of the most compassionate, and communicative business owners ever. We spoke twice before I had the floral arrangement decided on. My sisters birthday was clouded by her husbands bad bicycle accident 2 days earlier. Cynthia, CPK florist, knew just what to do...what kind of arrangement, as well as what local flowers she would use!! She chooses her flowers at local growers herself (one of which uses neurologically diverse staff!) The delivery was same day! If I could give CPK Floral Designs and its owner, Cindy, more than 5 stars, I would. Take it from me, Cindy is a special person and I was blessed to have found her to help me out with a long-distance order for a plant to be given to a high school classmate who lives in Leesburg (I live in New York). I called directly on Saturday 12/28 and Cindy spoke with me as she was driving to a venue with floral designs for another customer. How many businesses do that for you? Instant voicemail is usually what happens. She told me that she would call me as soon as she finished her delivery and returned to the store. She reached out to me as promised and I told her what I wanted and how much I was willing to pay and asked that the plant be delivered as soon as possible. Because it was the weekend and so close to the New Year, Cindy was honest with me that she would do her best to get the plant together and delivered ASAP but it would likely take a few days. The plant arrived on Tuesday and Cindy texted a picture of it to me. It was magnificent. She worked with me to get a bow whose colors reflected the friendship we had with our classmate and in drafting the special message on the card. The plant was delivered as promised.
