I have never left a review before, but this place is a 10/10. I have ordered flower delivery for my girlfriend ~8 times from them now, and they have always delivered incredibly beautiful arrangements. Pro tip- just give them a color scheme and a budget, and let them take it from there! They also have been extremely flexible with delivery dates, mindful of cost, and overall incredibly pleasant! Fantasy Floral does a great job at retaining their past clients. Margie had called me a couple days ago asking if I wanted to send an arrangement out again this year for my friend's birthday. I would have totally forgotten if she hadn't called and left a voicemail. Life is so busy these days with work and a baby and living an hour away from my friend... it's hard for me to see her or do something for her birthday, but Margie reminded me that I have Fantasy Floral! Amazing customer service from both Margie and Trevor, and such beautiful flowers! Trevor sent me a picture of the arrangement as requested before they got delivered, and I feel like the pictures really don't do them any justice. The arrangements look so beautiful in the pictures, but look 10 times better when I saw them through my friend's videos.

It was an absolute dream to work with Fantasy Florist for our wedding! Our flowers turned out gorgeous and we received so many compliments throughout the day on the arrangements. I really wanted a wildflower feel to our florals and Fantasy Florist delivered! Trevor, Cali, and the whole team were so helpful, patient, and kind as we worked on our designs leading up to the wedding. Still using Fantasy Florist 5 years later. One of the nicest touches: they call 7-10 days before important dates (anniversaries, birthdays, flower-related emergencies ) to remind you to order -- er, I mean confirm your order. They also keep notes on your preferences, accents, and past selections, so the arrangements feel consistent and personal. Could not be happier with the service provided by Fantasy Floral! We are across the country and wanted to arrange flowers for a family member who was undergoing surgery. Long story short, the family member ended up being in a room that could not accept deliveries. Update: Jan 30, 2020 46th Anniversary - I asked them to mix it up a little... do something with yellow and another color. Perfect again! Updated: Jan 27, 2018 44th Anniversary, I went to Fantasy Floral again. Great call on my part! This time I chose "Florist's choice" and let them do what they do. Again they knocked it out of the park. Fantasy Floral is my "go to" florist from now on. Original Review - Jan 2017 I called Fantasy Floral for roses for my wife for our 43rd anniversary. I wanted 2 dozen red and 4 yellow (our sons) and 6 white (our grandchildren). They did a fantastic job!!! She was so pleased, as was I. By the way, I stopped using online florists years ago. No matter where your sending flowers, find a local shop and pick up the phone, you'll get so much better flowers and service. read more

With over 30 years of floral design experience, Fantasy Floral is family owned and operated--offering a blend of creativity and floral freshness unmatched by any other flower specialist in the area. We do floral design for every occasion including just because, birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, sympathies and funerals, get well, love and romance, corporate events, and weddings. What makes us different from many other florists is that we prefer to keep everything in house, and let our flowers do the talking. Specifically this means we do not pay to be associated with any online florist such as Teleflora, FTD, 1800Flowers, Proflowers, etc. We prefer it this way because it has allowed us to put more money into each arrangement through means of flower variety, freshness, and time in making a more creative design. Our arrangements have been showcased throughout the Washington DC metropolitan area at luxury hotels (Marriott, Mandarin Oriental, Sofitel, and Hay Adams), hospital gift shops, car dealerships, wineries, churches, fine dining restaurants, the Kennedy Center, among many other venues.

We have done weddings all over the Metropolitan area in the last 13 years. Arrangements have been made for the Kennedy Center, Mandarin Oriental Hotel, The W Hotel, Four Season, Hay Adams, The Hilton, several embassies, lobbies for large corporations, and many others.

Meet the Business Owner: Trevor W.

A young entrepreneur and floral designer, Trevor has held every position in a flower shop, having helped build Fantasy Floral from the ground up. The experience gained from seeing the business from these different points of view, combined with a mind for numbers and a creative eye, gives him a particular skill set for fulfilling floral orders with efficiency and perfection.

I was very pleased to find this business, especially since I am not local, so can't easily pop into a store and talk to the owner to learn more about the flowers. But it was an easy online process. I planned to send flowers for my mom who lives in Virginia for her birthday. Instead of the standard 1-800 flowers, I wanted to choose a local florist in the area that offered delivery and support a small business. After some research of northern Virginia florists who offer delivery on flower bouquets, I chose Chaya Floral, which I highly recommend. Chaya Floral's website was easy to use, with a good amount of floral bouquets to choose from for delivery. Compared to other florists, Chaya is more expensive. However, their arrangements are high-quality with fresh flowers and lovely designs. It's worth the money. I chose the "Touch of Love" design, which was modern and chic, which I knew my mom would love. When checking out, you can add items for an extra charge, so I added a balloon with the bouquet and made sure to place it a few days before my mom's birthday for delivery. They cannot deliver on the same day, so plan ahead. On delivery day, my mom was not at home at the time when the florist attempted to deliver, so the florist called me and let me know that instead of leaving it at the door, she would drive out and deliver it again in a few hours, which I appreciated since it was raining that day and we didn't want the flowers to be outside in the rain. The bouquet looked very similar to what's displayed online, and they also indicate that if certain flowers aren't available, they will substitute flowers of equal or higher quality. Also, instead of a typed message, the florist handwrites the message on a card for an extra touch. I'm very glad I found Chaya Floral and would highly recommend using Chaya for flowers in the northern Virginia area.

Growing Wild is unique in that they grow and supplement with their own flowers on Barbara's amazing northern VA farm property in addition to wholesale purchased florals. She has much more flex and creativity in what flowers can be used on your day. So, what does this mean? This means that on our LATE JUNE wedding, we got luxurious and highly coveted peonies and ranunculus from the farm!!! These normally are ephemeral May only flowers. It's clear that Barbara and her team have such an expert understanding of blending colors, textures, and moods (yes, flowers have moods!) that if you just give her your color palette, wedding vibe, and budget, she can comfortably take it from there. I had a vision from the start and she understood completely what I wanted and how to deliver with great tips and tricks to tie in other elements I hadn't even considered. If I brought in ideas, Barbara found a way to make it happen. Now, let's talk about budgeting. Growing Wild was so understanding and respectful of having a clear budget and staying close to or within it. Barbara was straightforward about what would cost more, how to stay within budget, what was worth it and what wasn't, and was so reasonable with pricing and worked so well with us in our pricing comfort zone. She knows all the tricks to getting the best bang for your buck, including lots of floral repurposing. On my wedding day, I was absolutely blown away by the florals and there is no question the tone, beauty, and visual experience they set for everyone on the day. The colors, the artful arrangements, the creativity, the variety....wow!!! They even repurposed the flowers on our arch to below our sweetheart table which created an amazing look. Many arrangements had multiple purposes and gave me such joy to see used more than once- the bridesmaids bouquets in clear vases near the welcome area, the ceremony chair posies used on tables at cocktail hour and on the outside steps at our reception, and the two large aisle arrangements creatively flanking our greenery/neon sign wall (which I didn't think of and never would have, and was so excited to see when I walked in- genius for awesome photos). Barbara's daughter Lindsey did most of the floral coordination and set up on the day of and she was similarly just as awesome and artful with the entire experience. Barbara and the Growing Wild team, you all made our floral dreams come true and we can't imagine our day without you in it. I'll never forget all of our flowers; from my bouquet, to the ceremony arch, to the high and low arrangements, to the whimsical welcome sign arrangement... the list goes on and on. I even received a text message saying that they would call me back - the owner claimed it was an AI error. When I went to pick up the arrangement - there was no arragement - and the owner acted like he had never seen me before. In my grief, I lashed out and eventually apologized. What is mind blowing is that the owner could not admit his mistake. Clearly he had messed up and the appropriate thing to do would have apologized. Instead he said the customer is NEVER right and threw us out of the store.

We used Fantasy Floral for our daughter's wedding this past September. Upon meeting Mr. Castaño and staff, we soon developed confidence they would deliver a great product. We compared with other florists in the area, but Mr. Castaño made us feel most confident & at ease with all the floral arrangements for the church ceremony, wedding reception & bridal party. We met several times with him over the course of the planning process; we were always pleased with his attention to detail & his professionalism as well as his creativity. On the day of the wedding, the church looked gorgeous, the altar arrangements were just what we had envisioned, and the pew arrangements were large & noticeable. The Bride's bouquet & bridal party bouquets were precious, the boutonnieres & corsages were delicately made & the flower girl halos were perfect. His staff helped our large bridal party get ready, pinning all necessary flowers (the bride had 10 bridesmaids, 10 groomsmen, 2 flower girls & a ring bearer). The centerpieces at the wedding reception were absolutely perfect, & the cocktail table arrangements during cocktail hour were a hit! We had 6 cocktail tables that were carefully decorated with a flower vase that was indicative of cocktail hour! It added a very nice touch & ambiance to the room. This small flower shop has so much to offer; I first used Fantasy Floral to send an arrangement to my daughter for her 13th birthday. The presentation was GORGEOUS! I have met the florists, Carlos and his assistant Patty, and their artistic eye and knowledge of flowers combines to make them two of the best florists in the area. The third member of their small team is a very driven young gentleman named Trevor, who seems very sharp, helping Carlos in what ever the business needs of him. I most recently contracted them to have flowers sent to my home for a formal house warming party, and I couldn't be more pleased. The three of them combined to make quite a team. They were extremely punctual, well-mannered, efficient, and energetic which was very reassuring as they turned my home into a beautiful display of life and artwork. Came here with good feelings since I saw such amazing reviews about the place. They gave a book with some pictures of general flower arrangements that they can replicate. I wanted to choose some of my mom's favorite flowers for Mother's day so I asked them, very politely, if I was allowed to choose flowers and have them arrange it. I'm not sure who it was, but he replied, "No we don't do that here because we are professionals and we don't like customers telling us what to do so we don't allow them to come to the back". I understand that they take pride in their work and they just want to maybe take great care of the flowers, but it's not like I was giving out commands or telling then what to do, I just asked a question... I didn't know how to respond, but he just added that I should go look online for pictures of arrangements instead and basically kicked me out. I will not be coming back here. read more

St. Timothy's Catholic Church recommended Fantasy Floral in Chantilly, VA and we were ordering from NY State for a very sad funeral. Fantasy Floral, Chantilly, VA are Awesome, the Funeral Flowers were brilliant, and I was so proud to have them at the Church to represent our family. Carlos was professional, kind, considerate, spent all the time needed to choose the best arrangement and when I finally arrived at the funeral service I thought to myself Fantasy Flowers delivered exactly what was needed and appropriate for my young nephew's tragic death, but they are kind and gentle people at Fantasy Floral and spend the time on the phone that was required. I have ordered from Fantasy Floral for all my dances in high school. My corsages have always been large and exquisite and more then I could ever have hoped for. The floral artists matched it perfectly to my dress and added a jeweled bracelet and even made it light up! . They take time to really listen to what exactly you want and pay attention to ALL details and preferences you give them. They always go above and beyond and give you more then expected and every time I think they can't top what they did before, THEY DO! Everything I have ordered from them has exceeded my expectations , and I have gone back for every time I needed anything floral related. If I could give this place 6 stars, I would! I was planning my sister's bridal shower for end July. I am so happy I found this place! Carlos and the other lady were super helpful!! I am not the best in regards to design so I was hoping to find a florist who heard my vision/theme and would help me with colors and certain flowers. I had vases that I brought to them that I wanted used. They worked with the vases and made my party come to life with their floral arrangements. The bridal party went fabolous!
