My rating is based on a new veteran who has never been to this post before. Long timers at this post would rate this much higher. Cramped but adequate sized private lot north of the main area of Royal Oak. Inside is a bright, clean, large clubroom, with a central bar. Good cocktail choices, okayish beer selection. Okay bar food choices, and monthly special dinner events. The staff are douches. One accused me of lying, in front of many members. about renewing my membership online because it was too newfangled for someone to really do that. Anyone who wasn't born and raised down the block and then joined the post in the 80s gets slow and surly service. The members are the same, they turn their back on anyone who hasn't been at the post for 30 years. I discussed this with the commander (the Legion version of a president), and some of his leaders, they agreed it is a problem, but it obviously is not going to be solved. I haven't been back for almost a year, and have decided to start trying other posts in the area.

We did wine and beer per consumption and had a number for dinner. They provided a couple easels (we brought many more) and projector. They also had tables for flowers and pictures. The staff was absolutely incredible. If we tried to do a funeral home and Vintage house it easily would have been triple the cost. Also, just for funeral services it would have been double what I paid at vintage house if it were at a funeral home. All of the guests gave high praises for the venue. Can't thank them enough.

What a cool way to do Thanksgiving…read more.. We discovered that the vintage house does a Thanksgiving meal buffet. We have been there for banquets and weddings and the was good so we figured why not try them for Thanksgiving. The halls has nice decor and is well maintained. The food was really good with a large variety. The service was outstanding. It cost about $50.00 per person but to show up eat and leave it was worth it - no prep or clean-up.

He would march in all of the parades down 9-mile road with all of the other Legionnaires and be so proud to wear the uniform. They have torn down the old hall just this year, 2017, and are building some condos.
