I am rating the dining at The heathers. An annual dining membership is $345 which is worth it if you dine a couple times a month or more. The dining prices are very reasonable, the food is excellent, and the service has been good. They have daily specials. On Wednesday you can get a 10 oz prime rib with baked potato and vegetable for $30. The salmon is $26 with two sides. There are great views of the grounds from the dining room and bar. I recently attended an event here and when I asked who appeared to be the lead hostess from the venue if there was a pescatarian or vegetarian option she advised me that the hostess of the event would have needed to indicate that but she'd talk with the chef to see what could be come up with. When I received my plate it was simply the same sides that the other guests were served at the same portion size which was a small scoop of rice and a small serving of vegetables. The lead hostess did not offer any explanation and never came back to check in on me. Needless to say I was left disappointed and hungry. I feel this could have been handled better and for this I would definitely opt out of hosting an event here and be reluctant to attend another. read more

Very nice! Food was excellent! Service was stellar. They do something different here. I attended a wedding, and for the first time ever, there was no bar, that people were constantly congregating at. I liked it. We were never left hanging without drinks, and our servers even obliged, when we asked them to bring us two at a time (a rowdy bunch we were this weekend!) but I liked the touch, and think more places should start this practice. There were several tasty appetizers before our main course and they were really good. Filet Mignon was for dinner. I went with a date, so I don't even know how my filet was done with such perfectness....it's as if they had called me at home, it was perfect. Very awesomely done! I'm new to this side of town...so I'd love the chance to go here again for a wedding! read more

This place is awesome. My parents are members, so we come here with them for brunch once in a while. We recently came here for brunch on Easter Sunday and it was a great experience. The buffet had plenty of fresh and delicious items to choose from, such as cheese blintzes, an omelette station, Eggs Benedict, a prime rib carving station, lots of salad options, lots of bread options, and plenty of desserts to choose from. I will say that the entrance is a bit of a cluster because they have a giant table with an assortment of cakes and treats that is in the way of the wait staff and guests alike. The staff is always super friendly and attentive and on Easter Sunday they had someone dressed up as a wise old Easter Bunny walking around and taking pictures with the families. My brother had his wedding here, and we had a rehearsal a couple of days before the wedding. At the rehearsal we confirmed that it would be ok for us to get there a few hours early to finish getting ready and take pictures. The day of the wedding was a completely different story however... 1. The bridal party was supposed to all meet at the club at noon to finish getting ready and take pictures. Luckily all of us girls were still getting our hair and makeup done at the hotel and my husband was the first one there. When he arrived at the club with my 3 year old son who was the ring bearer he was told by a manager that there was no wedding scheduled there and that there is a Christmas party going on. I'm sure if my SIL heard that she would have been pretty upset and even more nervous, luckily we were able to work it all out without her knowing. 2. It the rehearsal we were told that there would be a room for us to get ready in and keep our things in. We were initially directed to a storage room, then one of the other employees said that we could use the locker room which had places to sit, sinks, mirrors, and toilets. It was much more comfortable. Then the manager came and told us we couldn't get ready in there after we already had been for the past hour. 3. After we were finished with the ceremony our wedding coordinator (a very nice man, I can't remember his name)had the bridal party line up in the little store. Here comes mister manager again yelling at the kids (who are clearly in the bridal party) to go back and sit at their tables. This added more chaos and confusion to everything that was going on as one person is telling them to leave and everyone else is telling them not to. 4. The package that we purchased included soft drinks, tea, and coffee. My mother (mother of the groom) ordered a tea and here comes mister manager again yelling at the wait staff telling her that she has to get a ticket for that because it's not covered. My mom knew it was because she was involved I the planning so she just ordered water. The server came back shortly with her iced tea. I'm just wondering how many of the other guests ended up paying for their drinks without knowing they weren't supposed to. read more

Heathers Club is a beautiful place tucked away in Bloomfield Township. They have a nine hole golf course, tennis court and an outdoor in ground swimming pool. And that is just outside! The inside defines pure elegance and fine dining. The dining room features high ceilings, floor to ceiling windows with breathtaking views. The bar/grill area is separate but doors can be opened to the dining room. The dining area holds up to 200 people! The decor in this place is absolutely beautiful. They also have a huge outdoor patio for dining that overlooks the golf course. This is only the upstairs! Downstairs has 2 separate banquet rooms for any kind of event! If you're looking to book a dinner, party, bridal/baby shower, birthday, wedding or engagement party this is definitely a place I would recommend! Or if you're looking to belong to a club that offers so many features and amenities this is the place! I can go on and on with how amazing this place is. The staff is extremely accommodating to any needs. Oh and did I forget to mention, the food is out of this world delicious!! This family without a doubt know exactly what they're doing! read more

This is a beautiful hall with amazing service, the servers go out of their way to do an amazing job! The down side is the owner, as he claims, is a rude arrogant person who expects you not to have any music or noise at the party. If you ask me, renting the hall for the amount they asked you should be able to have music. I would not recommend the place or will I ever book the place again because of him. read more

I recently had my wedding there and overall it was a beautiful setting and turned out great. The staff does a great job of getting everything together and also set up everything for us. It was great not worrying about that on my wedding day. It's also an intimate setting, with nice lighting, large windows for natural lighting and a fire place. There were some downfalls working with the event coordinator and staff there, though. 1. The coordinator, Jennifer was not the friendliest person to work with. When asking questions or emailing back and forth, she was short, seemed irritated and rarely addressed me by name. She was somewhat unpredictable, at times she was nice and other times, she seemed to not want to work with me. 2. We got the best package you could get and paid a lot of money - that being said, we didn't receive everything we paid for, and there was not compensation or apology when we addressed that with the coordinator. We were supposed to receive a champagne toast for the head table, that did not happen. We paid for passed appetizers during cocktail hour, we had to ask when they were coming out and then they came out a half hour late and only a few trays were being passed. We did not feel we got the whole benefit there. 3. When we had our tasting, the chef that was going to prepare our meal at the wedding, did not at the tasting, so we didn't really get a feel for what the food was going to be like. Though, the food was excellent at the wedding. 4. We were told we could take home food if some guests did not show up the at the reception. We had three people not show up and and when we asked about boxing up the food at the end of the night, we were told we could not because of code. It would have been nice if they let us know this since we were originally told we could. 5. The coordinator, Jennifer was not there the night of the wedding, so we felt since I was working with her throughout the whole process, things could have been avoided. Her assistant Jerry was great to work with, but seemed out of the loop on items Jennifer and I discussed. 6. We paid for a full, premium bar. They were out of several beers when I ordered. We were told there would be thirty different beers available - I had to ask for three different beers because they did not have most available. Again, I did not feel we got the full benefit here and this would not have been an issue if we were not promised this or if we did not pay for it. 7. Instead of having an actual bar, they had servers get drinks for guest. David, the waiter for the head table was phenomenal! I can't speak for the other tables, but he was really helpful and always brought us extra drinks so we had a drink at all times. Other pros: 1. Food was great 2. Service night - of was excellent 3. The venue is beautiful 4. They set-up and tore down almost everything 5. We asked for the ceiling to be dusted (There were clumps of dust when we viewed the venue) and they took care of it, not without asking a few times though. Overall, it was a beautiful night and went off without problems for our guests, which is the important thing, but I do have to say for the amount of money that was paid, things could have been tightened up and a bit. We were very accommodating to the venue and followed their rules, but felt we were a bother at times, when we were a paying customer. I am glad though this did not reflect on the night of (minus cocktail hour) and this was more of a behind the scenes problem. read more
