Today, by phone, I had the pleasure of speaking with Andrew of CPR Cell Phone Repair, in Anthem, Arizona. I called regarding an internal replacement part needed for my Pixel XL mobile phone. Andrew briefly placed me on hold to research the cost of the part and the associated labor for installation. As it turned out, Andrew clearly explained securing the internal part would not an issue. However, due to the manufacturing process of the Pixel XL, the installation of the part would be exceptionally difficult, and there would be a considerable risk to the phone's very delicate screen. I absolutely appreciated Andrew's candidness regarding the process of repairing the Pixel XL. He suggested it might be a better idea to replace the older model phone rather than attempting a risky repair. Got my iPhone XS screen replaced in less than an hour this afternoon. Phillip you're the man. At first I thought the screen wasn't calibrated properly but only because my last screen repair (Mac Masters in Scottsdale) was so off that I had to touch a cm to the left of everything and got used to it. Both screen repairs were $150 but this one is FLAWLESS. I can use tap to wake and 3D Touch again. Something mac masters took away from me. He even told me the apple certified screen wasn't worth it being double the price of a soft oled. Not a single complaint thanks Phillip. Great service, thought my cell phone screen was cracked and brought it in for a replacement. Turned out it was only the screen protector that was cracked. They replaced the screen protector I had already at no cost. They could easily have replaced my screen or charged me for replacing the screen protector. Honest service is so important! read more

This place is fantastic. I went in with a phone issue (phone not charging very well) and requested a charging port replacement. The gentleman behind the counter told me that they do not work on my particular model but that he would take a look at it. I feel I was just scammed by CPR Cell Phone Repair. Unfortunately I dropped my phone in the ocean in Rocky Point. I thought for sure it was done and I would have to buy a new one. I decided to take it in to CPR when I learned they fix water damage. When we brought the phone in they seemed pretty confident they could fix it so I was pretty excited. They said it would be $50 to clean and dry and if parts were needed they could replace. After about 5 hours they called me and told me they were able to clean everything and the phone will work fine but the screen will need to be replaced and would cost $300. I was a bit surprised about the jump in cost but agreed to the charge as I was still pleased it could be fixed and it seemed reasonable considering parts and labor for a brick and mortar business. After agreeing to the charge they told me I can pick it up in an hour. When I went to pick it up I was excited to see it on but while in the store it powered off by itself. When I asked them about it they told me the water damage was bad and the phone won't t run as good and will probably have to be replaced within a week to a month. WAIT WHAT!!! YOU DIDN'T MENTION THAT WHEN YOU SAID YOU COULD FIX IT FOR $300!!! Had I known the $300 repair would only allow my phone to work for a week to a month I would have never agreed to having the repair done and I would've just bought a new phone!!! Sure enough right after walking out the store the phone powered on and off again automatically and moves between screens very slowly. I can't even back it up on my computer because it keeps shutting off! If they knew it wasn't going to work properly and would only last a week to a month they should have told me that. Instead they told me it would work fine just to get my hard earned money!!! I feel angered and hurt to be taken advantage of in such a dishonest way. If you are a consumer reading this review I would like to ask you to not give this untrustworthy store your business so you do not get taken advantage of as well. There are other options nearby. Thanks much to Gabe for handling my four year old Apple iPhone 6 Plus battery replacement professionally, rapidly and at a great price! My trusty dependable phone is now holding a strong charge in unplugged usage, again!! As I expected from its rapid discharge during minimal use off power, Gabe found that the battery was bad (Expanded!) even though the "Battery Health" software in my phone reported it in "Good Health: 87% of New". I had taken my phone to an Apple Retail Store for repair in December of last year under their special defective battery replacement program where I was told that it was not in need of replacement... per the in-phone software report that it did not require replacement. The bogus Battery Health software report, in my opinion, could have resulted in catastrophic damage to my phone or even a fire issue had I not pursued this rapid battery discharge issue with Gabe at the Anthem Cell Phone Repair store...as their logo says, he saved my mobile life! Recommended. P.S., 1) Gabe & company are now working on my iPad Air 2 battery replacement (the two batteries in it have expanded so much that they popped open the entire unit one-quarter inch even though it works perfectly while plugged into AC power!). Suggestion: don't wait as long as I have to get your digital mobile devices checked and/or serviced at this great new mobile repair store in Anthem. 2) My first experience here was in early July of this year when Andrew really helped me with a warranty replacement of my Zagg In-Shield cell phone screen protector. My iPhone was failing to take a charge so I naturally assumed it was the cord. After buying a new cord and the iPhone continuing to not take a charge I went to the Anthem CPR (Cell Phone Repair) store assuming I was going to have to spend $50 or more to get the intake port on the iPhone replaced. A young man there named Gabe asked if he could take the phone in the back room for a few moments and look it over.
