I would give zero stars if that were an option. Toys Wireless is hands down one of the most unprofessional, poorly run, and unreliable businesses I've ever dealt with. This store opens late constantly, and even when the doors are unlocked, no one is ever at the front. You walk in and just stand there wondering if anyone even works there. No greeting, no acknowledgment, no customer service--nothing. It feels like customers are an inconvenience rather than the reason the business exists. Simple tasks like paying a phone bill or fixing a device turn into a drawn-out, confusing mess every single time. The staff either doesn't know what they're doing or simply doesn't care. There's zero consistency in pricing--I've been quoted different prices for the same service, which immediately raises red flags. It feels misleading at best. The biggest issue is their claim about "original parts." Do not believe it. Even when you specifically request and pay extra for original parts, the device never works the same afterward. Performance is worse, issues appear that weren't there before, and nothing feels factory-correct. Based on my repeated experiences, I strongly believe customers are not receiving the parts they're paying for. There is also no transparency about what's being installed, no proof of authenticity, and no accountability when problems happen after the repair. Once they have your money, you're basically on your own. The entire operation feels disorganized, careless, and unprofessional--from how the store is staffed, to how pricing is handled, to how repairs are done. I've visited multiple times hoping things would improve, and they never did. Every visit somehow managed to be worse than the last. If you value your phone, your money, or your time, avoid this place completely. There are plenty of legitimate wireless and repair shops in Phoenix that actually respect customers and stand behind their work. This is not one of them. read more

My iPhone 12 Pro (gold) was stolen at Old Town Scottsdale on Saturday Nov 26, ever since the thief has taken my phone on a field trip around the valley and as of yesterday they took it to this shop and it's been off since. i really hope this business is not taking stolen phones for resale. read more

My phone got accidentally locked and we took it to metro pcs whose employees didn't know how to fix it and if they figured it out somehow warned that everything would be erased because they had to factory reset it. We brought it here paid$25 and the phone was legit fixed in like 15 min. We typed em $15. Employees were knowledgeable and efficient. read more

This place is a Veteran Phone Repair Shop. Definitely one of the best in PHX. We all use our phone on a daily basis and the day-to-day wear and tears catches up. Especially for me being on my phone and working in the kitchen industry. This place does it all when it comes to repairs and when in doubt, they have really good resources to take it to if they can't fix themselves. Have been coming here for many years and every time it has been a very great experience. I've tried other places for phone repairs, and NONE stagger to this place from customer service down to their technician expertise. I have recommended this place to many friends and family and have always had great feedback. My s3 made it 2 years before the screen cracked from a drop. Figured I would just upgrade soon anyways so oh well. Met Sean and he said he could fix it, and it would be worth more once I upgraded and could sell it, so figured why not. Well finally took it in to get it done,. Really expected I would be able to tell it had been replaced, but it is ABSOLUTELY flawless! Screen works better than it has in a long time and is beautiful! This place can't even call itself a business. It prints receipts that say you can return accessories and other wireless supplies and then once you try to return something you get a NO. Why even have it in your receipt that you can return accessories within 30 days if you're not going to do that? Here's a piece of advice, change your receipt policy to clarify what you mean otherwise you might as well run the business out of the trunk of a car. They are not even registered with the BBB that should say something, about their practices. read more

I've used the store for minor purchases but never to replace a glass for a phone. Saturday, March 14th, I took my S4 with a cracked glass--I recently replaced the glass from a spot in PV Mall (next to JC Penny's)--don't go to this place because they used aftermarket glass--which breaks easily and the work is poor. These people like to steal UPS packages. They get delivered and try to hold on to them. If you find out that your package is there and call, they lie about having it. If you catch them in the lie, they try to charge you money you DON'T owe for picking it up. Not ethical! read more

They told me all the pros and cons of each phone within my budget range, which helped me in selecting the right phone for me. This place is a disgrace. I took my Lg G2 to have the glass replaced. I brought it in and the work was done in a few hours. Within hours the glass began to lift from the phone. I called Shawn the Owner/ Repair Man and told him the problem. He said that he would order a new Bezel that holds the glass. This should take a few day. So when the part cam e in on a Thursday I said great. I wasn't able to pick up the phone until Saturday. Bright and early Saturday I should up. I was told by and associate that they would not fix the phone because there was a new crack on the screen. YES there was. Right where the screen was lifting because of the poor work Shawn had done. It wouldn't have compromised the phone if he hadn't broke it more. The associate sales guy couldn't do anything with Shawn's permission. SO Tuesday I called to speak to Shawn to come to some kind of understanding and resolve this problem. I was sickened by his vulgar words and attacks. He called my a stupid bitch trying to get something for free. FUNNY CAUSE NOW HE WAS OFFERING ME THE BEZEL FOR FREE. I didn't want anything for free, Just the repairs I paid for!!! Not at all. I work hard for my money. I take care of 3 kids and a disabled husband. So money is very carefully spent. I expect honest work from honest pay. Period. I would not recommend anyone to do business here. His business ethics are in the gutter. The quality of work is even worse. And to be more insulting they keep asking for more money. Sean is the best! I don't even know where to start. First let me tell you the history of my daughter's iPad, she broke the screen so we went to the mall and got a quote from iphexation and they said 7 hours well let me say it was well over 7 hours more like 70+ days. When we finally got it back it was beyond worst than a cracked screen, one of their technicians completely destroyed the iPad. I was so over it I didn't want to go through another place and feel more headaches and frustration so basically I was just going to let it be and get a new one. Until I started talking to Sean aka God of Repairs about it and he simply just wanted to look at it. Well he did and totally fixed it. The iPad is working amazing again. Sean is so impressive with his professionalism. He showed us on the spot some of the issues and he communicated with us the whole time so we knew what was going on with our device. Not only did he fixed our iPad in a very short amount of time he is also very fair with the price. Bottom line he is a good hearted human who we are thankful to have done business with. I have insurance through verizon and I still choose to come here because I can keep all my data, it's cheaper, and I don't have to send back my phone and have no phone for a a couple days! read more

I literally called around to 30 or more stores looking for a specific device so I could port my lines from my old carrier to MetroPCS - no one in town had as many devices as I needed - including Sean and Carol - so I waited patiently - while still calling some of those same 30 stores again and again - the worst part is that every store I called EXCEPT Wireless Toyz had a different "policy" on what the requirements were to take advantage of the corporate sponsored "free for all" promotion where, with port, I could get free phones. Some stores said I had to pay for the highest plan available on all lines to get the free phones, some said just the highest on my primary line and some said at least the $50/month plan - Not Sean - This guy is amazing - he even had to call another store to get all my devices but they were there waiting for me when I arrived. I walked in the store, he greeted me by name - without me introducing myself, I must look like my namesake! all the while it felt both like a business and like a place where friends meet up and chat - I saw this with several customers, including myself. Sean was very capable in getting my numbers ported, all while multitasking working on another customers sons phone, handling questions from his staff and other customers and still carrying on a conversation with me that had nothing to do with cell phones! If you are looking for a place that has that family feel, THIS IS IT - they tout several of the top prepaid networks, have a great selection of devices and accessories and I even asked if they did phone repair (and the big yellow sign on the wall where Sean was sitting pretty much summed up that answer) this is truly a one stop shop - My family is getting ready to switch away from AT&T and have been looking at prepaid options, so before they switch, I am going to recommend they give Sean or Carol a call and see if he can take care of them since I know I will be going there for all my other needs! read more

One star is generous! I called this store on 6/28 to ask if they could replace a cracked screen of my HTC 8X. The person I spoke with had to ask the repair person who said "yes but would need to order the screen which would take one week". I then came to the store 5 days later, ready to give them half down, (which was required) $50.00 and then was told "we don't work on these phones". In addition to this, when I arrived at the store two people were behind the counter, one one the phone and one helping the only other customer there. I waited 15 minutes and a second person (lady) walked in. Five minutes later the person who was on the phone asked if he could help this lady. I immediately ask why he didn't help me as I've been waiting now for 20 minutes. He said he didn't see me and continued with the other person. She was there to pick up her phone which wasn't fixed properly. So she then left upset with-out her phone. A couple minutes before she walked out two men walked in and guess what, The other sales person asked if he could help them. I again asked why I wasn't being helped and again I was told "I didn't see you" Blind or stupid I'm not sure! Maybe both! I immediately went to Sun Solar. Dan said he would order my screen which would take a few extra days do to the holiday, and would then take 35 minutes to do the work. I didn't have to give him a dime and had me in and out in less than 5 minutes. read more

Let me start off by saying my mom went here a few years ago to get an iPhone and said absolutely NOTHING but amazing things about this place!! I drive by it ALL the time and have never bothered to stop in, one day i decided to buy a new phone on Craigslist (sorry guys) and need a sim card adapter. I called all around the valley, Best Buy, Radio Shack, etc and no one had them let alone knew what i was talking about. Found them online for about 10 bucks shipped but i didn't have time for that! lol So i remember what my mom had said and called Wireless Toyz. Phone was answered instantly, incredibly nice guy on the phone, told him what i needed, said we have plenty for a XXX amount of money. Smoking deal needless to say so i said i'd be right down. Parked, walked in the door, instantly greeted, told him what i needed, grabbed a BOX of these things and started sorting through them to find the best one!!!! OMGOSH are you serious?? He was willing to help sort through them! He sat patiently as heck for 5 minutes while i tested each one he took out of the box to see which one fit the best!! Some were close so he went and got my a razor to trim them!!! SERIOUSLY?!?! Incredible service!!! Finally found one that looked like it work, when i went to pay for it, he said don't worry about it, its free!!! AHH!!!!! lol I can't say enough great things about this place in just the couple times I've either been there or heard other people talk about it, nothing but impeccable service.
