I had my phone repaired at CPR with an after market screen on 10/5. I was told the screen had a 90 day warranty at the time. The bottom of my screen started turning black on 10/16. When I took it for repair on 10/17, the employee looked for damage to the phone which he did not find. He then said tbe warranty did not cover black spots. THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS!!!! On Monday night, I came home and opened my iPad and the screen was stuck. The pixels looked weird and it wasn't working. I spoke with them and got a quote and then asked my mom to drop it off for me so that I could pick it up after class. After back-and-forth about a part that was missing and needed to be replaced on the iPad was found they were able to fix it in three hours time, which was perfect because that was right when my class ended when I arrived to the store to pick up my electronic I was told that for security reasons they could not give me the iPad even though they had previously spoken to me my mom was on the phone with me in the store. From a business standpoint, it's just not good practice. I'm not only a dissatisfied customer, but I will ensure that everyone I know who has a broken electronic will not go to CPR repair. And I want to reiterate the fact that they did not check my mother's ID or ask her for any formal identification. They did not make it clear that she needed to be the person that picked up the iPad. They just told her when it would be ready. UPDATE: I have since been to this location four times so that they can "fix" the issues that they have created on my iPad not only have they refused to give me back my money. They have also refused to fix the issue that they created. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!! I have been a customer at this store since the iPhone 3 came out. Over the past 10 years I have spent several thousand dollars getting screens repaired and various devices fixed. I have never needed to take advantage of the 30 day warranty until recently. I took an iPhone X in for a screen replacement since it was about $50 cheaper here than Verizon and I have never had a problem. After a week the screen quit working and a day later came back but with part of it gone. I took it in and of course was told it was not covered since the type of screen issue could only be caused by abuse. My 12 year old son uses this phone and it stays at home all day during school. I run a business in retail that provides warranties and would never try to get something covered that I knowingly damaged. The tech at the front desk knows me since I am in there often and went back to see if they would cover it. I was offered a 20% discount. Had I went to a reputable company to have the repair done this would have been covered. Now I have spent $300 and have to spend this agin with a company that I can trust. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere that stands behind the services they promise when they take your money. read more

I had an ipad screen repair done on Feb 2 2016. Chris handled my call when inquiring about pricing/ work. He was polite, resourceful and answered all of my questions. CPR pricing was cheaper than other companies I called. I arrived at 10 AM and there was not a wait but other people were in store. The entire staff was friendly and courteous. My repair was completed in 2 hours and I received a call once the repair was finished. This company also offered a military discount which I greatly appreciate. My phone was repaired in October, they replaced the screen since it was cracked. But since the screen wasn't original and more a aftermarket fix and it cause lag when pressing or highlighting on the screen. As the months went by more issues started arising and lines started appearing on the screen, to the point where now the screen started blacking out last night. I thought now it would bee a good time to bring the phone back since the screen obviously was becoming unusable. I brought the phone in to get repaired and hoping their warranty was going to cover all the cost since there was no physical damage to the screen. However since there was already some dead pixels on their aftermarket screen they said that was considered "physical damage" and refused to fix my phone under warranty. I was pretty regular customer here, but I'm never coming back to this place. Horrible customer service and it's obvious that they don't respect their own warranty policy. read more

Another trip to CPR, another fantastic experience. My (original model) iPhone SE had some water damage that was screwing up the screen. (Yes, i'd done all the usual dry out the phone stuff.) I described the symptoms via phone, they suggested a screen replace. I brought the phone in. 2 hours and $65 dollars later-good as new. I didn't want to spend a ton of money because I'm jsut trying to make it through to the iPhone 12 launch in October. Now, I'm good to go. PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY I've had two phone screens replaced here.. the first was my lg v10. Got it back and at first glance it looked perfect. After I few days I noticed some things wrong with the screen. First off there are blemishes at the bottom left and right of the screen which is really noticeable on a white screen. The second thing I noticed was that the digitizer is coming off at the top and bottom right of the screen(which looks like little cracks) that go away if I press on the screen. They tried to blame it on the battery I had and said they would replace the battery for a fee.. I decided that maybe it was a fluke as the phone is uncommon to repair places. So I took in my iPhone 6 a couple months later. Got it back afterwards and it looked great. After a while I noticed the same blemish that was on the other phone is on this one as well although much smaller. Just now I noticed as I'm laying in the dark, that I can see light from the phone coming from beneath the screen on both sides of the phone. I took my cellphone to this place to have it unlocked. The agreement said $50 for it to be unlocked in 1-3 days. The employee also verbally confirmed this and said there would be no problem with a refund if they weren't able to do it. Well, 5 days later I had to go demand my phone back at the store. The manager refused to bring the phone out from the back unless I paid them the full price for the service that they had not done and were already far out of time to complete. I had to have my business phone back at this point so I paid them. The manager guaranteed that if it wasn't working by the next day, he would give me a refund. Well, I called the next day (around 2pm) to ask if I needed to try anything special to make it work or if I could just have my refund. The manager unapologetically told me "well, you can say I told you whatever you want but you aren't getting the money back and it looks like it will be one more day until it works now. Sorry.". This was on the 6th day after I made the 1-3 day agreement. Also, it turned out (after having an actual professional look at it) that ATT had already unlocked the phone several days earlier... It was unlocked by the previous owner. So, only God knows what these clowns thought they were doing with it. I ended up having technical support help me fix the data problem in 15 minutes over the phone after all this. I would not even trust CPR to work on my calculator in the future. If they would go through all the trouble to out right steal $50 dollars from me without regard to consequence or public view, imagine what they would do for your $100-500 phone repair. read more

Updated post from 5/29/16: Okay so, I needed my two iPhones repaired so I thought of the store I went to last time and how horrible it was. Below is my original post. Apparently, enough people complained or the idiots behind the counter got fired or quit, I don't know. All I know is this experience was 100% different. I came and stood at the door at 9:58am (they open at 10:00am) and when they opened I was greeted with a smile, friendly demeanor and well explained process, procedure, and expectations. I was about to post up a 3-star review because the pricing and workmanship was good minus the customer service but changed it to 5-stars because the CS has definitely changed. Good job, management! Original post from 5/22/16: Price and turnaround time is decent but the front desk staff need to get a lesson in customer service. This is not the DMV, smile and show your customers you appreciate our business or else we will go elsewhere. The owner/manager needs to read this and understand that at the end of the day you can have the best pricing and turnaround time but if your service with a smile is lacking you will not have repeat customers. We have used CPR for things like cracked screens for a number of years. However, the last screen broke within a week without being dropped. When we returned, they said that it had to be dropped to break and refused to provide anything but a 10% discount. My wife thought they were rude. I TALKED TO A GUY NAMED Justin (works in the back) over the phone and felt comfortable bringing my phone here. I dropped my phone off and the wait was set for 2 hours. No problem. I take my kids and run some errands. It's now 5pm. I wait for 20 mins in line. Still the guy in the front doesn't acknowledge anyone who comes in. Someone from the back set up and pulls my phone. I wait an additional 7 mins. Finally get up to the counter and he didn't even put on the tempered glass I requested. Told me I only asked about the price when in fact I didn't ask because I was going to pay either way. This dude really wanted to argue with me!!! Oh and to top t off I waited ANOTHER FREAKIN 10-12mins with my kids to be told they don't have the temper glass for my phone so they put a "temp" on until next week sooooo upset. The service is awful, i brought my iphone 7 plus to have the screen fixed, after they fixed it the sensor on my phone that makes the phone go black when talking on it would no longer work. i asked them to fix it because it wasn't like that before and they said it would cost extra. My brother as well got his iphone 6 screen fixed and after he got a new screen his face camera was cloudy, he called them just to have them clean it and they said it would be a fee for it. Even though they claim to have a lifetime warranty on anything they fix, they say it will still cost. Do not come here save your money. read more

This is the 2nd repair that I've gotten done here, and I'd come back again and again!! Although they are all young guys, they are VERY knowledgeable and professional. They do several inspections of the phone so they can give you an accurate estimate and make suggestions that'll help you out in the end..even if it means fewer dollars for them. I was a little disappointed that they weren't able to match Apple's replacement battery price, but I get it that equipment isn't an easy thing to discount. I'm still in the market for that 29.99 battery for my iPhone 7Plus just in case a manager is perusing this review! LOL!! This place is awesome!! Use them if you need a new screen...no BS! read more

I dropped and smashed my iphone the other day so I was looking for a nearby repair center because Apple had a coupe days wait for an appointment. The gentleman who greeted me asked a few questions about the phone gave me a detailed invoice with the time frame and the work to be completed. When I returned I was greeted by the same gentleman from my prior visit he recommended a phone case and also a screen protector and I purchased them both. I've used CPR at least 4 times ranging from cracked screens to charging port issues. Each time it took no more than an hour and a half and the devices were back up and running. The cost was "VERY" economical compared to apple. It does void your warranty, but their prices are so reasonable it actually makes more sense to do so. There is no confusing genius appointment or waiting till 2:40 for an appointment that was scheduled for 2:00. CPR is your best bet. You won't be sorry. read more

I brought in my iPhone 6 with no issues other than a need for a new battery and a broken tempered glass screen. While I was initially going in, I had only planned on getting a new battery, but the service was so affordable ($49.99), I decided to add on a tempered glass replacement for a reduced price ($14.99). Everyone working here was very kind and thorough with their explanations. I only had to wait 1.5hrs for my phone! No complaints here whatsoever. Excellent professional service. I am a tech guy and have replaced many device screens myself (ipad's, iphones3-6, LG's, samsungs, ect). I started replacing my iphone 7 screen when I accidentally stripped a home button screw about half way through the process. I tried everything to remove the screw but couldn't. I finally broke down and decided to see some professionals about the situation. I brought my iphone 7 to guys these guys in 25+ pieces (no exaggeration). Came in for a "free repair" waited in a long line to be told by not that friendly of a person that there is a fee to look at my iPhone. I inquired about the free estimate and he said that if we fix it you pay us $95 if we don't fix it you pay us $40. I asked him if there was a way for them to look at it to see before I paid the fee and he said NO.
