Another store tried to replace the battery in my iPhone SE 2022. They took 3 hours, failed, and put the phone together incorrectly. The staff at CPR replaced the battery in 30 min, fixed all of the things the prior team assembled incorrectly, and did it for $70 instead of the $80 charge at the first place. Came here following getting my phone fixed back in May. Previously I got a good deal on a screen and battery replacement. Since then I had some issues with my phone and this got worse with the screen breaking and things going downhill with the battery and the screen starting to separate and get easily damaged. I finally came in and explained the situation. CPR claimed fault for the issue and said they could fix my screen and battery for no less than $30 due to some system issue which wouldn't allow the fix to be free. Also got a loaner phone while they had mine. Great option! Ultimately was a little frustrated I'd have to pay but when I showed up, got my phone with a new screen and battery back for free! Was very happy with this situation working out and the customer service I got. read more

Ok, I have reviewed this business before. But I took in my 89 year old mothers iPhone yesterday because it wouldn't charge or turn on. Avery, hope I got that right, tall guy with long straight hair, took in back after listening to what I thought was the problem, and fixed it in minutes. This is a GREAT repair shop! I'm usually able to fix most phone and computers problems, but I could not get my daughters phone unfrozen. We were in the Carmel area for another appointment so we took her phone into the CPR shop there and they were able to get it going. Phones are so important in this era of password security and connectivity so it was a great relief. I HIGHLY recommend their services, they were quick and efficient and the cost was very reasonable. So I had a pretty awful day which consisted of me tripping and smashing my phone screen. Luckily, my mom decided to help in the search of a repair place since I couldn't use my phone in fear of getting glass in my hand. She found CPR cell phone repair and saw it had great reviews. She called ahead to see the jist and even let them know I'd be coming. For $80 and around 45 minutes my phone was back to normal. So if you have a terrible day like mine, check these guys out . You'll get great customer service, good pricing and fast service! Like what else could you ask for? About 100% better than standing in line at the Apple Store. everytime I took my phone in they'd give me some crazy number then id have to remind them what the price was the last four times I came in. "oh we didn't know you were a repeat customer" wouldn't that be the first thing you do? plus my phone seems to be more sensitive and more glitchy like the screen wasnt placed correctly or wasn't tested. also super combative when trying to state a problem. needless to say there are better options available. read more

I cracked the screen on my Nexus 4 and investigated my options. Fix it myself: Parts $80 Time: three days to get the part 4 hours labor at least Mail in service: $180 with a year warranty Time: one business week turnaround Cell Phone CPR: $135 with 6 months warranty Time: About a business week. I went with cellphone CPR in Carmel, IN because of the price and location. I paid half upfront and the part was in by the end of the week and I had the repaired phone in my hand by Friday. I immediately noticed that the screen was of greatly a lower quality than the factory one I had come to know. It felt more like a composite polymer than glass and the phone itself was subsequently lighter. Fine I thought, at least the phone works well; this beats buying a new phone. However, as I inspected the screen more I noticed that it did not perfectly fit the phone and or was fitted poorly by the staff. I realized I could get a fingernail between the screen and the phone itself. This looseness was also noticeable when pressing the screen. It gave way a bit. This finally resulted in some disruption to the digitalizer and I promptly took it back. It took them another few days to get another part, about which I asked whether they were happy with the quality thereof to which they replied yes. I told them this fitting issue might be an issue with who supplies their distributor. They expressed confidence in this new piece which they installed. This second screen had the same fitting issues. I could still get a nail between the phone and screen and I noticed that I could not use my phone to browse while I took a call. I took the phone in again to address these issues. They said they could just adjust the sensitivity of my phone to the light that was getting in to the phone since the screen was poorly fitted, as opposed to actually fixing the problem. Eventually they ordered another (3rd) screen and when this arrived I went yet again to get it fixed. I can make calls and use my phone, but now I have white spots on my screen and the screen still is not properly fitted. They ordered another screen (4th), this time from a different industrial batch, but when it came in they concluded that it was as terrible as the previous ones so they ordered yet another, this time finally from a different source or at least I was told (5th). They told me they had the part. I came in and dropped off my phone with an hour left of their work day and came the next day to pick it up. Apparently the person who took the phone in did not leave any written instructions for the following day's staff and they were unable to do anything with the phone. It has now taken over a month, eight visits, missed interviews and has still cost me $135. If I were you I would choose another option, perhaps just buy a new phone, try another repair shop, or resign yourself to the cell phone hell that is this institution. read more

The WORST!!!!!! Don't go to them for cell phone screen repair- worst service & no guarantee. My husband broke his iPhone screen, they repaired & within 12 hours the screen cracked while in my husbands pocket. It didn't hit anything, no other items in his pocket...the corner shattered!! CPR would fixed it unless I wanted to pay for it @ 100% of the cost of the repair, $115. Absolutely worst customer service as they blamed it on being in his pocket. Seriously? My husband went to CPR when he thought his iPhone 6 Plus was completely shot. He thought he'd get one last review of the problem by these folks. His suspicion was that it needed a new battery or something more complicated. It was in by 10am and out by 3pm. CPR repaired a connection of a portal and said no new battery was needed. Boy, are these guys honest and professional! And, to top it all off, they didn't charge a thing! I recommend this firm to anyone needing any type of electronics, computer or phone repair. UbreakIfix repaired my cell phone display in January. In April my display stopped working again. Went to CPR for a 2nd opinion. Grant at CPR did an outstanding job of taking my display off and reviewing the previous work. He determined that damage was likely done by the previous repair shop and that the screws weren't tightened to keep the display from messing up again. Customer service was outstanding. I felt like a burden to UbreakIfix, but my CPR experience was the exact opposite. I would highly recommend using CPR over other companies! read more

Very friendly and professional staff. I brought in an iphone 4 with a cracked screen and they fixed it no problem and within 24 hours. I also brought in an iphone 5 that crashed during an iOS update. Although they weren't able to fix it (which was expected due to the nature of the problem), I really feel like they tried since they had several different individuals work on the phone to see what they could do. Even after spending the time to try and fix the phone, there was no charge since it was not fixable. Hopefully I don't have to go back... i think even one star is pushing it. i had an iphone 6s with a shattered screen and no other issues. i took it in to get the screen replaced and it cost $130 (the same amount as if i were to go to the apple store)! anyways i got the phone back and it worked fine for a little while. then it would no longer connect to my data service provider. i spent hours calling my provider and trying to find the issue, then was directed to the apple store where they told me an antenna or something in the phone had been fried due to improper use of tools while repairing. so basically i paid $130 dollars for them to break my phone more!! the warranty they gave me only covered problems pertaining the screen itself or the home button, so i ended up having to spend over $400 more and getting an entirely new phone. waste of money and time, i would just recommend apple care, not cheap but they have the right tools and know the hardware well. don't pay the same amount here for them to potentially break your phone. this was disappointing. DO NOT RISK IT HERE. read more

Cracked screen shows up a month after a repair here. Ok shit happens but these people took ownership of the problem and fixed it again at no cost. It works for 4 hours. Then next morning stopped working all together. Apple Store tells me it's a $269 motherboard that needs replaced. Um no thank you. I go back to CPR and find out its a minor issue and they fixed it for free normally a $35 repair, a fraction of what Apple forces customers to shell out. For repairs I'm definitely returning here. Apple didn't even want to protect their customers phones with selling glass screen protectors! That is just poor customer service in this consumer's opinion. Once again here they try to educate the customer on safe guarding their phones and accommodated me with a free screen protector for another phone for my troubles! Would give them a zero stars but can't. Took a phone on for water damage. They claimed to have fixed it, charged us. Worked for a day. Took it back. They tried again and it didn't work. Said we were out of our money since it was water damaged to begin with. They kept it and used the screen from the phone for someone else and gave us back the phone with a cracked screen since we couldn't use it anymore. These guys are scheisters. read more

They successfully fixed my broken iPhone screen but broke the camera wiring in the process. After a week without my phone they claimed to have fixed the camera, but the flash was still broken. After nearly a month without my phone, they finally got it back to me. The glass of the screen was slightly raised and there was glue residue around the screen edges. The aftermarket screen broke a few weeks later in my pocket with a case on the phone. read more

Went in with a Note II with a broken screen (1st visit). They said they could fix it no problem, guaranteed. Went back the next day (2nd visit), an hour after it was supposed to be finished, it wasn't. Went back the following day (3rd visit), it was ready, but hadn't been tested as the touch screen didn't work. They said they would fix it. Picked it up the next day (4th visit). After using it for a day, realized I still couldn't effectively text. Took it back again (5th visit). Picked it up the next day (6th visit). Still couldn't effectively use the touch screen, particularly for texting. Gave up and bought a new phone. If you have a Note II, steer clear. read more

Terrible and late services. I had to visit the store again and again because they couldn't fix my phone at once. Also, they didn't have the necessary part and promised to call me when the part comes in. But they didn't call me for 10 days even if the part came in. When I visited the store 10 days later, I was told that they didn't have the part. However, on my way back to my office, they called me that they actually had the part and I had to visit the store AGAIN. I think they should be sorry about their poor service but I didn't hear any apology from them. read more

I went in for a screen repair on my son's iphone 5C. They fixed and the screen seemed not to fit. I asked the agent and he said it was fine. He told me about the warranty and what was covered. Less than 2 weeks later the screen cracked when my son was just touching it. I took back the next day and they told me a cracked phone was not covered. I told them it cracked bc the screen was not fitting correct. He went into a back room and came back to offer me 10% off.... I told him I was not paying another $100. My son just used the phone with the crack. Then the corner of the phone became loose and half the screen is black. I took it BACK to CPR and was told AGAIN that this was not covered under the " warranty" . I took to another phone repair in Carmel who told me CPR had installed incorrectly.
