I am in desperate need of a new cell phone. I was told my I phone was too old to get service. I tried to go on line at Verizon.com to order an I phone and service. After 7 day of going back and forth with multi departments I was told that there was no way for me to get a phone. I was very dissatisfied with the way they conduct business. I paid what was due and they held my money for several weeks before they refunded it back to my debit card, thus making it impossible to get a phone anywhere else! 0!!! read more

I had a super friendly Gent, today (I think his name was Dave? ) Helped me buy and set up a phone. When I got back to the shop and it wouldn't work at all. (the sim card was faulty) He came to my office which is 2 minutes down the street and fixed my phone for me. Great customer service! read more

I have bought my last 3 phones from this store. I travel from the Southshore for the very reason that the customer service is excellent. Not to mention recently my elderly mother went to a store in Natick and they told her all kinds of wrong things including the fact that they couldn't recover her contacts and pictures from her lost iPhone. Listen i hate leaving reviews, they take time and im lazy. But it wouldnt be right if i didnt. I dont have to tell you how awful it can be dealing with verizon corporate. This place literally keeps me with verizon, hey corporate take some notes. Anyway why the good review? Customer service, its all it takes, but its a lost art these days. I purchased an iPhone 8 cover a week ago, in between that time and today i had to upgrade to iphone 11 for both me and my wife. I went back today and the rep not only gave me an extra cover since he knew i had to try to install my wifes on my own and there is a risk of messing it up...but he also didnt charrge me for my screen protector since he remmeber i had just bought one for my 8 plus a week ago. This Verizon store in North Reading has been my favorite store for years. They are efficient, friendly and they certainly all know about the phones they sell. Jake, Chris and the other awesome staff are the best anyone could ever want in customer service. Whether I call them on the phone or go into the store about an issue, they always find the solution. I have not had such success with other Verizon Wireless stores until I visited this store over 2 years ago. They are my "go to" Verizon store, absolutely! read more

IM Wireless just got themselves a customer for life. I've been in there before. Good service, good people. I prefer going there than to the Verizon stores. Anyway, I bought my phone there three months ago. It's exactly what I needed, very happy with the plan, etc. I also bought a car charger. Today, the top of the charger pulled clean off of the wire. I drove over to IM in North Reading and was greeted. He asked me what he could do for me. I put the charger on the counter and he, without prompting, went and got me a new one, no questions asked. He said he knew it was one he carried and it was obviously a fault of the product and not a fault of mine, so he'd take care of it. This is the kind of service I miss in big-brand stores. I went home happy, and they will get my business and recommended business for as long as I carry a phone. Thanks, IM Wireless. read more

I have been going to this store since I bought my first smartphone and the customer service has always been extraordinary. Yesterday I bought my first Ipad and a HUM unit. Though I love all the technology, I am a bit technologically challenged and so I was so very grateful that Rudy set up the Ipad and the HUM for me and he did it with such a great attitude..when I thanked him profusely for all that he did for me he responded by saying this is just normal customer service....everyone at this store has always been super helpful and very kind...and I am super grateful for Rudy"s assistance. read more

If I could give this store ZERO stars I would! They keep you waiting and make you promises they do not keep. They offer to waive activation fees and then you get a notification from Verizon that they are going to shut off your phone service because the employee never waived anything! I have had several months of problems with my Verizon bills, fees and late charges because of this store!!! Thank goodness the corporate Verizon business office was able to come through and fix their mistakes. There are plenty of Verizon stores in the area.. I would strongly suggest you pass by this one and go somewhere else. read more

This store is an absolute rip off. I thought I'd save some time from driving to the actual corporate store in Reading since this supposed Verizon was closer to my house. Big mistake. I've gone to them twice and I should have known better than to go back a second time. The first time I went was last year to buy an iPhone charger. They sold me some sort of off brand charger which didn't work, went back to try to return it and they wouldn't let me even though I had the receipt. They proceeded to exchange me another off brand charger which also didn't work. I went back again today to buy a screen protector for my phone. They charged me $40 for it! I know from experience that the same screen protector from the actual store in Reading is $25. Ridiculous. read more

I drive 45 min to go see Tatyana, Sandro, Sam, Scott or anybody else they have at the desk! This is THE place to go if you have questions about your plan or phone. These people know what they are doing! I don't ask a basketball player for Soccer shoes and won't ask these guys about how to choose a pear. I will always ask these people what phone or plan is good for me... and I know that they believe in what they tell me is the best for me. I WILL NEVER GO TO ANOTHER VERIZON STORE! Got an education today when I went to a corporate Verizon Wireless location (not a "premium retailer") on how screwed I got on my phone and deal. They played games and charged me for an iPhone for $700 that you would never know if this was correct or not until you try to upgrade. the iPhone 5s was never &700 from Verizon Wireless! Please get educated on the "Edge Plan" also. You have to be 60% or 70% deep into your plan before you can trade up and that locks you into another period. They say there is no charge for the phone haha. Its a sneaky way to get a 2 year commitment out of you. If you wanted out in 6 months you would be legally bound to write a check for $500 the cost of the prorated iPhone. Also do your home work on "authorized or premium distributors. They are thieves and used car salesmen. stay clear and go to a corporate office. I don't know why Verizon Wireless lets them put that big huge sign up when it's just like the carts at the mall.
