Hi highly recommend instructor Pilar. I received my BLS CPR certification and I'm grateful I took her class in person! There were four of us (CPR) students total in her class and she was well informed and gave real situations as examples. We also use three different kinds mannequins to practice on, an adult, child, and baby. I learned so much from our class and I feel more confident if I were faced with a scenario or an incident that might require me to perform CPR. She emphasized to us also that we must always ask first if we can help. She also went over what to do if you were by yourself, and if there were two of you rescuers. I had Pilar as my instructor for BLS and Heartsaver First Aid today and she was great! I like that she tested my knowledge and provided personal experiences in her teaching. I honestly feel that I learned the most in this class about CPR and first aid than in any other class I have taken. I was the only student in the class, so it was nice having that one-on-one training with Pilar. He was very knowledgeable and was patient with my questions.
