Very easy to find the building. Each time so far has been an easy and pleasant experience, the simulation gives great feedback. I love that i can get it done at my own pace depending on how I do on each module. See you again in 2 years! :)

You're going too fast too slow no recoil too much air. Not enough air. Too deep, not deep enough. Ridiculous. When I had one or two corrections got through it the computer started to spin and not giving my results and when I did, it was zero. There was no way it was zero when the computer corrected me twice it was all in the green. I do not advise anyone taking this class. I'd rather sit in the classroom all day and then do this again. My neck, arms and back are in pain I run every day 6 to 7 miles. I am a strong individual . CPR on a real person does not take this much strength. Now I must go and lie down with the heating pad first, I have to buy one. The one star is because I had to give it a star.

This was the most enjoyable CPR course I've ever taken! Kat is such an amazing instructor, extremely supportive and kind, very funny, and keeps the content entertaining. I was able to easily stay engaged and was very comfortable the entire time (I know courses can sometimes be intimidating). I walked away feeling educated and very prepared, and learned a lot despite this being another renewal for me! I plan on doing all future certifications with her, and I look forward to seeing her again! The space itself in Lafayette is very comfortable and inviting. Thankfully I only paid for 1 year of CEU's and I have only been able to complete 1 course and I've spent the past 4 days trying to log in and complete other CEU's, which I have not been successfully able to do so. I'm hoping to get a refund because I am not able to use the website. It's been a terrible experience the little time I've been able to use it!

I wanted to try a renewal outside of work with the hopes that it is less stressful. I came across this place through my Yelp search based on the high ratings. When I went to the website, the option to renewal was online portion + skills assessment. I was worried about the skills assessment. I purchased it and scheduled my skills assessment. The online portion is something I have done in the past with my other renewals which really helps prep you with the algorithms and lots of feedback. The online portion is nice because you work at your own pace, on your own time. You must completed the online portion in order to do the skills assessment in person. Before my skills assessment, I received very helpful e-mails to help me pass my skills assessment. They had some videos and helpful tips in the e-mail. When I arrived to the location at San Ramon, I was a little confused as I easily missed the door and was very lost. I called the phone number and they were very helpful in guiding me on where to go. There is NO instructor there, it's just a manikin hooked up to the computer that assesses the skill. I thought the videos helped me pass the skills assessment. I did have to re-do some sections a couple times but the feedback from the computer helped me and I think the e-mail tips clicked after doing the skills assessment. Overall, the skills assessment was definitely less stressful than I expected. It wasn't that bad. I definitely plan to return to do my BLS + ACLS renewal here, it's very chill and at your own pace! I love it. This really eases my anxiety regarding renewal, I would highly recommend for anyone that wants to renew! Everything is at your own pace. You do only have an hour to do the skills assessment, which I felt was PLENTY of time! The skills assessment focuses mainly on the breaths/compressions of CPR and 2:1 teamwork.

Last year I recall there used to be, but they have now locked the adjoining door so you cannot access the restroom if you need to go. The other thing was it doesn't seem that the cart the mannequin is on is able to be moved; or maybe I just couldn't move it? I went in the morning hours and the sun was shining right in my eyes. Just be forewarned if you decide to go to the Castro Valley location - - use the bathroom first and you may want to bring some sunglasses just in case LOL

I appreciate this place being more of a class setting than those one-time activities for date night or to hang with friends, because ceramics takes awhile to get a good handle on. Plus there is a process of the bisque and glaze fire which cannot be done in a day. My recommendation is to take the 8-week class and show up to every class. At the end of the course, I'm sure you will have a better understanding of pottery.
