The parking lot was full but I was told to let my collegaues know that they can park in the medical building across the street since it was after 5 pm. Everything was good and delicious. We got the market fig, corn pasta, branzino, steak, meatball and salad. It was really sweet that the kitchen made a gluten-free salad for one of our team mate who could only eat gluten free. I defintely want to come back for their brunch menu.

We were seated quickly and ordered a bottle of wine. I wish it were possible to taste the wine before buying, there were a couple I had not had before and they looked amazing, but I'm not gambling 100 bucks on a wine I haven't tried. The wine we ordered was fine, not incredible but not horrible. We also ordered the bread, meatballs, and ribeye. The bread was the dish that stood out the most. It was great. The other dishes were fine. Not worth the money to me. The entire experience lacked soul. From service to food, just kind of fine. Our dishes came out on top of each other, we should have asked them to course them. So this experience was definitely not worth it, which is a shame. I was left feeling like this is a place that does not have exceptional food but does have very high prices and maybe that's to vet clientele ;)

I tried a few things from Renaud's while staying nearby. For my first visit I had a mini lemon tart…read moreand one of their small easter chocolates, which were on sale after the holiday. The lemon and meringue in the tart were very good: the citrus had a nice bite to it, it wasn't too sweet. I found the pastry a little thick, but that is sometimes an issue when making miniature tarts, as the pastry to filling ratio can get off-balance. The little dark chocolate bunny was ok, but honestly not any better than most retail chocolate bars for a much higher cost. On my second visit I stopped in on a morning for a matcha latte and ham and cheese croissant. The croissant was flaky and had a good balance of ham and cheese. They warm them up and it was the perfect temperature. The matcha latte was very disappointing, though. I didn't end up finishing it and threw most of it out. It was bright green, but had no real matcha flavor to speak of. Instead it tasted overwhelmingingly of vanilla. So much so that as it cooled it reminded me of drinking melted vanilla ice cream. I don't know if they use vanilla syrup by default as their sweetner, because I didn't ask for it, but if so it's an odd choice to make without telling people. Overall, a bit of a mixed bag.

It was my first time and I had questions. She clearly saw me but did not want to turn around to help anyone. And when I got her attention she gave me attitude. I asked her if the chocolate one was good and popular and she just said she didn't like chocolate. Renaurd, you need to better train her. She is unappreciative of her job and hating everyone. I ended up getting the Bomb, the exotic, the apple pie, and their rasberry white chocolate one. Thankfully the birthday person enjoyed them all. I would come back to get more items for the holidays but the girl working there makes me hesitant. It's located in Gelson towards the front.

Service was quick and we were allowed to try flavors. I ultimately got vanilla on a cone (basic I know) but enjoyed every bite of it! It has an interesting texture, almost like marshmallow? Unfortunately, our experience with the staff really left a sour taste in our mouths. The server helping us seemed bothered when we asked if we could sample something before purchasing and kept making comments about us asking to try the products. "If I give everyone a sample then what? No business" ... LOOL WHAT? My fiance was genuinely trying to pick something out and wanted to sample a flavor before deciding, but the staff member completely ignored him and made us feel unwelcome. We had every intention of purchasing a good amount to take home, but because of the attitude and lack of hospitality, we ended up only getting a couple of pieces and leaving. (I regret spending any money here) The products and ambiance were lovely, but customer service really matters, especially when you're trying to support a business. We left disappointed because this could have been such a nice experience.

Not friendly. I know…read moreyou remember me Tuesday around 4 PM. This is the second time I've come in and made the exact same request. My kids eat very small portions of ice cream. I never asked for a discount and was happy to pay full price. All I asked was for a smaller scoop. Both times, the shorter male employee looked at me like I was asking for something ridiculous. He acted confused and annoyed over the simplest request. This time was even worse. He scooped ice cream that was already melted around the edges. I politely asked if he could scoop from the part that wasn't melting, and he replied, "Oh, it's buttercream," as if that somehow made it acceptable. Then he did the exact same thing with my daughter's ice cream. The ice cream was already melting before we even walked out the door. What disappointed me even more than the melting ice cream was the attitude. If you don't enjoy serving customers especially families with children maybe customer service isn't the right job for you. I still left a tip. Not because the service deserved it, but because I genuinely felt sorry for your attitude.
