We were seeking a local spot with handcrafted flavors and did we hit the jackpot! Seaside had delicious flavors that you could sample. They always made sure that you were aware of nuts as an ingredient. We sampled a few and landed on Vanilla, Rocky Road, Incognito and Fluffernutter. My husband got the affogato. The decoration was cute and had beachy vibes. There are benches in front of the store to sit and enjoy your ice cream.
After a long day of walking around and enjoying El Dorado park, the wife and I needed a nice and creamy pick me up, and what better way than to enjoy some delicious ice cream. We were recommended Seaside creamery from a friend, and boy was it delicious! The ice cream itself was luxurious and THICC, the level of decadence that we always want from our more elevated ice cream parlors. We got the fluffer nutter and the strawberry shortcake. If you love cake, cookie and peanut butter, look no further than the fluffer nutter. The strawberry shortcake was also deliciously fruity and had cake bits as well. They were both so good we had to get pints to bring home to the fam! Nice and funny ambiance on the inside as well. Service was quick and easy, they have HUGE scoops here as well which is lovely. They don't have indoor or outdoor seating - so we enjoy our ice cream in the car :)
Tiny parking lot. Near CSULB so a good place to stop by if you're a student. Flavors are all well done and feels like a high quality dessert. Split scoop is very generous, but one scoop is honestly filling enough. Server was very kind and let me sample several different flavors. They really nail down the flavor combinations because they have texture and most combinations don't tend to clash. Although there's a base flavor, usually accents come through very well. For example, there was a honey lavender flavor and I usually think it leans lavender flavor with honey as a sweetener, but this ended up tasting like lavender and honey pretty equally. Cheesecake is good. Cookies n cream also good. It's all delicious, really. But stick with what you like because after a while it easily gets filling. If you get cheesecake flavor, I recommend getting chocolate. I got sea salt caramel and it was too sweet with the cheesecake after a while.
Cute ice cream shop with good flavors, it was hard choosing what we wanted but thank god for samples. Love all the flavors we tried and will be back to try more. This place has the best flavors!! I had option overload when I was in there because all of the flavors looked so good lol. We got the matcha honeycomb, corn miso caramel, strawberry shortcake, and vietnamese coffee. All of the flavors were bomb and so creamy. The prices were great as well. We got the split scoop where you can get two flavors for $6.50. Such a great deal! There isn't a lot of seating outside so just keep that in mind if you're going with a group.
I stopped here on a weekday afternoon for some ice cream on a hot summer day. It's located in a small plaza and the shop itself is also small - no seating inside (insert sad face here). They had around 16 unique flavors and the kind young woman behind the counter offered to give me tastes of anything I desired. But two flavors immediately jumped out at me so I got two scoops in a cup; one bumbleberry cheesecake and one Vietnamese coffee. There were some tables outside in front of the Mexican restaurant next door, but as I wandered over to sit down, I kind of got "the look" from the owner so I retreated to enjoy my ice cream in my air-conditioned car. Both scoops were very creamy and the coffee ice cream tasted like coffee and the bumbleberry tasted like berry and cheesecake (with some tiny bits of cookie-crust). But I agree with other reviewers who feel the flavors lacked depth. The taste was there but it was too mild. Still, a good place to get some ice cream if you're in the area!
Around Long Beach, we are lucky to have a great selection of high-quality, artisanal ice creams; however, Seaside Creamery deserves to be mentioned as one of the best in our area. This spot is located in East Long Beach on Palo Verde near Atherton and the CSULB campus. What is undeniable is the quality of their objectively creamy ice cream. Their website reveals why: the ice cream is made to be like frozen custard as their base is loaded with higher fat content from egg yolks, quality cream, and natural ingredients. It's dense and creamy with assertive flavor. Speaking of flavor, they have flavor combos that you don't see elsewhere; however, their flavor combos make sense. Examples of flavors include: fluffernutter (peanut butter and marshmallow), cookie mintster (mint with chocolate cookie), mallow cookies and cream (cookies and cream with marshmallow), and indonesian vanilla. They're classic flavors with high quality ingredients and a twist, but it doesn't get weird like some places. I went with their salted caramel and fluffernutter on a waffle cone and I thoroughly enjoyed it. My wife went with fluffernutter and cookie minster. Fluffernutter was our surprise flavor of the night. I spent $9 for a double scoop and an additional $1.75 for a waffle cone. There isn't really seating, so get your ice cream in a bowl and with a lid if you need to drive it home. High quality ice cream does have a premium price; however, I definitely feel that it is justified from their high-quality, creamy, and flavorful scoops and their unique flavors.
Came here on a Sunday around 1:30 no wait to order. No seating small parking lot in front. Inside was clean. Many unique flavors they allow you to taste test them. We got the Vietnamese ice cream super creamy and good coffee flavor. The strawberry cheesecake was good. Fruit flavor taste fresh not artificial. The velvet chocolate was really good too not too dark or strong. All in all quick and friendly service and for price to taste worth it! Going to come again.

Tonight we were wanting to make a dessert run and were happy to see they were open until 10 pm on a Friday. The staff was super friendly when we walked in and let us try as many samples as we wanted. I'm always drawn to peanut butter, so I tried fluffernutter (PB base with PB) and chocolate PB cup (chocolate with PB cups pieces and PB swirl). They were both so good, but I went with the chocolate based PB cup in a traditional cake cone. My pet leave is stale cones, and this was super fresh -- 10/10! Hubby got fluffernutter and cookie mintser (mint cookies and cream) in a cup. Teen got sea salt caramel (vanilla base), which he said was "crazy good." Total was $20 for 4 scoops, which felt like a bargain after what I just paid for ice cream in Maui. We love the original flavors and that they make them all themselves. There's no seating. It has a cute wall mural -- no, it's not gonna lick itself -- and it's conveniently located by one of our favorite pizza places (Pizzamania) and fast food Chinese restaurants (China Star). Be sure to register your phone number for rewards.

Okay, so this ice cream is top notch. You can tell that they have taken a lot of care in carefully curating flavors that amplify the amazing texture of their ice cream (super rich and creamy, definitely felt like they were made with high quality cream and egg). Tiny little shop with a couple tables outdoors. The person behind the counter was really friendly and patient with our indecisiveness. Samples were encouraged. I tried the bumbleberry cheesecake and it was absolutely delicious. Slightly tangy from the berries and cheesecakeiness (it's a word now), but mellowed by the sweet creaminess. Add the little graham-y crumbles and you're in dessert bliss. My teen tried the caramel spiced apple and devoured it. My toddler wanted velvet chocolate (mostly chocolate with a hint of hazelnut) and it was HEAVY (even when kid scoop sized). Definitely a win for a chocolate enthusiast. Highly recommend supporting this little shop!

Not friendly. I know you remember me Tuesday around 4 PM. This is the second time I've come in and made the exact same request. My kids eat very small portions of ice cream. I never asked for a discount and was happy to pay full price. All I asked was for a smaller scoop. Both times, the shorter male employee looked at me like I was asking for something ridiculous. He acted confused and annoyed over the simplest request. This time was even worse. He scooped ice cream that was already melted around the edges. I politely asked if he could scoop from the part that wasn't melting, and he replied, "Oh, it's buttercream," as if that somehow made it acceptable. Then he did the exact same thing with my daughter's ice cream. The ice cream was already melting before we even walked out the door. What disappointed me even more than the melting ice cream was the attitude. If you don't enjoy serving customers especially families with children maybe customer service isn't the right job for you. I still left a tip. Not because the service deserved it, but because I genuinely felt sorry for your attitude. read more

The flavors are unique and very rich. I enjoyed the cookies and cream and bumbleberry cheesecake flavors as one was sweet and the other more fruity. The fluffernutter and instigator were also good. I do wish they had more lighter flavors. Again, too rich. We got a flight of 4 and definitely needed something savory after with water. Maybe it's my old age. Service was great and helpful. One waitress so if it gets busy and people are asking for samples it may be awhile. No inside seating, two benches outside. read more

The ice cream flavor options will not disappoint!! It's not on the sea, BUT your taste buds will feel like you're on a luxury seaside vacation cause Seaside Creamery delivered!!! So many unique options to try, I had such a hard time choosing so I can't wait to come back for more. The split scoop is the way to go! Pablo & Karla were so wonderful, very warm and friendly staff! I always require some kind of sweet treat to finish off dinner and was in the Long Beach area. Found this ice cream shop on Yelp and decided to give it a try with the bf. Seaside Creamery is located within the small corner of business on E. Atherton St and Palo Verde Ave. It's neighbor is Pizzamania. The lot is tiny so parking can be tough to find parking if it does fill up as there are other businesses that use it. The shop itself is small, no restroom either or any sort of seating. Just the counters, ice cream display and a small refrigerator with pre packed pints of flavors. It seems like they have some standard flavors but also some seasonal ones that change. The lady helping us was welcoming, and let us know she'd be happy to help and if we wanted to sample any flavors just ask. We did end up sampling a out 5 or so flavors before deciding on choosing the ice cream flight. The flight comes with 4 generous scoops of ice cream and is a great choice if you're having trouble deciding between several flavors. Our flight consisted of the Matcha Honeycomb, Bumbleberry Cheesecake, Carnival Crunch, and Instigator. Matcha Honeycomb had good matcha flavor, it wasn't overly strong, had a good amount of sweetness with the added honeycomb candy bits sprinkled throughout. Bumbleberry cheesecake has lots of Bumbleberry swirls, wasn't getting a whole lot of cheesecake flavor but it was there along with bits of the Biscoff cookie crust. Carnival crunch was my favorite, the berry infused base was subtle, but I loved the texture the crumbles animal cookie added throughout. Instigator had great strong coffee flavor though I didn't get theaple syrup or brown sugar aspect. The flight was also supposed to come with waffle cone pieces but they had run out so we were given a cone in place of those. Very sturdy, vanilla based, crunch cone. Overall flavors were pretty decent. Would want to try the other flavors to see if I'd like those over what I got initially. Give this unique ice cream spot a try if you're in the Long Beach area. read more
I ordered a split scoop and I just absolutely LOVE the flavors I picked! I chose Strawberry Shortcake and Mixed Berries Cheesecake, and this is easily two of the best flavors I've tried recently. I'm not sure if he's the owner but the gentleman that helped me out my past two visits is super friendly and knows how to treat his customers! They offer so many yummy flavors, but my favorite is the cookie butter and Vietnamese coffee. Clean shop but unfortunately there is no seating. read more

My family and I visited a neighborhood ice cream spot this past weekend and it was pretty good. The shop was bright, inviting and decorated with cute, cheerful touches. They had a decent selection of unique flavors and the staff was so kind by letting us sample a few before deciding. We ended up getting Velvet Chocolate, Mallow Cookies and Cream, Mint Brownie Chip and Lemon Lavender. The ice cream was rich, decadent and packed with flavor. My daughter gave it two thumbs up. There were a few outdoor tables so we were able to sit and enjoy our treats. While it was a bit pricey, the quality was worth it and we're excited to go back and try more flavors! read more

Love, love, love this place! The service is great! Every time I come, everyone is so friendly and nice. The aesthetic is beautiful, and the ice cream is soo good. The only downside could be parking! If you come on a busy day, it could be challenging. My favorite will always be the Mallows Cookies and Cream flavor at Seaside Creamery and is definitely a must-try! It's so creamy, and just the right sweetness with the cookies and cream. If you love cookies and cream, try this one! I've also tried their flavor of the month which was the instigator and it was great. If you love coffee ice cream, try it! It's worth getting the flight then share so you can get more flavors! We stopped by at 8:20 on Saturday night. There was no line, we got several tastes and all agreed the flavors were delicious. I loved the Mallow Cookies & Cream, the boys had Mint Brownie- the mint flavor was really fresh. The server was super friendly, but as we were leaving - the line grew so long it was out the door.
