I thought this place was so cute. There's indoor and outdoor seating. I got an Island Fog which is a twist on the earl gray. The baristas were very nice and all the orders came out quick. I also got a couple of stickers. I want to go back to try their coffee flights. Apparently every month they rotate flavors and that sounds like so much fun! read more

Group of friends were on our way to deception pass and craving some coffee. Small storefront, walked inside and there were already 20 flies swarming the seating area. This made a very unpleasant experience as we're standing in line waiting to order trying to shoo away flies. This also deterred half the group from ordering anything and I also lost my appetite. The final straw was watching how unpleasant the cashier was to others. My friend thought it was a "bit" to feed into the pun of "crabby coffee" experience. But the other barista was really nice so the other lady must've just been having a bad day or something, but I recommend not taking it out on your customers. Drinks do come out fast here, bit quickness was a tradeoff for quality. Hot latte was watery, nothing special I'd come back for. I don't mind waiting longer for better drinks. read more

Crabby coffee does not make me crabby one bit! I enjoy both locations. Especially the coupeville location for its delicious food items and beautiful view. I specifically enjoy the panini and can devour the turkey havarti pesto panini. It's incredibly flavorful and the perfect portion. For my drinks I love their chai powder, sometime with pumpkin or salted caramel. And the matcha is great too! The ladies are always sweet, helpful, and so loving to my puppy. Small, cozy coffeehouse that also serves some food items including clam chowder. Service was quick and friendly. There was a small outdoor patio with a fire pit by the waterfront and indoor seating as well. Ample parking on the street that quickly gets filled up since it's a touristy area. We had a caramel macchiato with added 2 shots (tasted slightly burnt and too sweet), an iced vanilla latte with oat milk (excellent), and an americano (okay, not great). First time in I ordered a drip coffee and sat on the outdoor deck to enjoy the view. The plain drip Crabby Coffee was delicious. The barista Erica couldn't have been nicer. I kept thinking about that delicious coffee and went back for another the day after. Got a bag of Crabby Coffee beans to make at home. And YES! Not only are the name and logo adorable, but the coffee was delicious as well! The barista was super friendly and chatty. I only wish the specials had been more clearly marked because I would've loved to try one but saw the sheet after I ordered. I was soooo excited when I saw that Crabby Coffee was moving into Coupeville. Their list of drinks is amazing and our Frappacino's have been spot-on. We're residents of Coupeville so the time I stop by is during the work week so there's less foot and car traffic. Hope they stay busy enough during winter to stay open!! My wife and I stopped by to try their $14 coffee sampler. We received 4 hot drinks in darling glassware. We requested that the samples be made less sweet, and each drink was made fresh and with skill. The barista was talented, and knew their craft. If it had no't been so busy we would have gone back to the counter and doubled our tip. Of course, due to the shop's location, it is always busy. read more

I saw a post on Facebook about this place and just knew we had to come try it out. We got there pretty early (7:30ish) and were the only ones there, which is awesome since it was our first visit. The kind woman was helpful and very easy to talk with. She made her suggestions as we asked her to do. We ended up with the coffee flight, flavors are in the pic and we each ordered a breakfast sandwich. WOW! The food was delish! And the coffee was also great. But more importantly, the service was superb! We had a lovely conversation as she made our food and drinks. We also learned about Buster the town kitty. The place is small, I think there were 3 little tables. On a nice day there is also a small deck outside overlooking the water. I will definitely be back!! read more
