Crabtree is probably the best mall we have in the triangle, though, parking can be a nightmare. I mainly go to Crabtree for Minerology, my all time favorite shop in NC. I have been to Lush, Lego, Yankee Candle, and Bath and Body Works here. Every shop we've been in had great employees and the stores were always clean. The mall in general is clean and bright and there's a ton of stores to shop around in. Minerology used to have two other locations but they closed down and stayed with one main location at Crabtree, so I'll make the long drive for my favorite place. The staff there are super knowledgeable about the fossils and minerals. They are very friendly and kind people and will help you find something special to bring home. They also do live sales occasionally on their Instagram. Many of the rocks in my collection came from here. Though Crabtree is far and I'm not a fan of their parking, I will always come back as long as my favorite stores remains! read more

A lot of great stores! We found great assessible parking to boot! But it was incredibly HOT in many of the stores we went in.

I've been coming to this mall since I was a child and it's cool to see how it has changed and developed over the years. They have a good variety of shopping and food options. Stores come and go, but it's always been a good mall. I've noticed they have a more speciality & asian shops as of late. I really like checking out the Eloise store, even if I don't end up getting anything (they have really cute and niche stuff). The mall is conveniently located across from the Marriott where I was staying for a conference this week. Crabtree is a good resource for people staying at the hotel - due to its location, variety of stores, food court, etc. I stopped in a few times during my trip. On my first night in Raleigh, I went over to walk around after a long day of traveling. I checked out Unleashed (mega pet supply store), Michael Kors, Lush, and a few other shops. I also got a snack at Auntie Anne's :) I was surprised to see just how much foot traffic there was; there was a lot of activity going on for a work week night. Finally, an indoor mall that hasn't gone to the birds. This mall was full of great stores and was full of people enjoying it. The main stores are Macys and Belk and there were plenty of smaller stores that would be familiar to you like Bath and Body Works, American Eagle, Banana Republic, Gap to name a few. The food court had plenty of options to choose from too. I would say since I was not familiar with this mall it was frustrating to not be able to find the maps at enough locations. So, I definitely would recommend checking this mall out You can't find to many indoor clean malls these days. read more

It's not the Crabtree I remember from years ago but it was fun to take my daughter to miniso and Eloise while we were in town. They have more anime and kawaii stores than anything since I guess that's the "thing" these days. I'm surprised McDonald's is gone. But overall we had a good time walking around. read more

This was a nice mall located actoss from the Marriott where I was staying. It was a nice walk over to the mall and I'm glad I walked because parking looked hectic. There are so many shops and dining options inside of the 2 level facility. I enjoyed the food court and shopping for a couple gifts. The staff in the mall were helpful and attentive. I noticed security throughout the mall as well, staying alert. There were some good deals to be had, especially at some of the specialty shops. read more

I denined access to the mall with my service dog in training. Inviolation of ADA Federal law and state law..please refer to https://www.ada.gov/resources/service-animals-2010-requirements/ I bullied by the security director, who refused to read and uphold the law. I was physically blocked by 4 security personnel, I was threatened with arrested, a young security guard took his handcuffs out and threatened me with them. I asked for the police, they claim or pretended to call the police. The police never came. read more

Was in Raleigh area and bumped through this mall. Nice location and lots of options inside . Parking was a bit dodgy , although we got one . Lots of shopping options and eateries / restaurants.. they have high end shops like banana republic , apple showrooms etc and also eateries . Service is average in most of the stores . Food taste is also average - almost like a typical mall food . I liked PF chang food in there . Good quality and not that expensive. Cheesecake was also ok. Waiting for our airbnb to be able to check in we decided to go to a mall after we had breakfast and still had time to kill since we landed. It was definitely a nice mall and of course my son was very happy to see the lego store. He also came back with my husband while on vacation to go back to the comic book store :P so I'd say this mall is a good one. read more

Stopped here while in the area visiting family for a few days. Stopped into Dry Goods, they had a pretty decent sale and I can always find something there, my daughter loves dipping dots and they had a kiosk so they made her day and we ate at Seasons 52. This is one of the liver malls still left on existence. They have a lot of stores, a large selection and it's clean. The bathrooms are probably the cleanest mall bathrooms I have ever saw. Staff are very nice and they several great restaurants. Parking deck is kind of confusing. This mall reminds me Of my teenage years and how malls used to be. I really enjoyed going to Perfume World where the staff helped me pick the best perfume for me. 5 stars for that store. read more

Now this is a mall! Living in nyc, we don't really have many malls here, so if ever i have a chance to go to a mall, im always down to browse and do some retail therapy. Lol. This mall had a bit of everything. The food options at this mall are really incredible. They had a food court, as well as a bunch of chain restaurants. So you could find pretty much whatever your heart desires. I really enjoyed myself here and was very impressed by just the size. The stores all seemed to be very large as well. All in all, I'll give it a 3.5. Sorry, no pics for this one. But if you're in the area, definitely check it out. I'm sure there's something in there for everyone. read more

The only indoor mall in the area, it has most of what I need. My favorite stores are Belks and Sanctuary Girl. My grandson loves the nice Lego store and Game Stop the best of course. There are a variety of other stores, some high end ones too. Plenty of places to get a battery put in your watch too. A very nice "perk" is they will let you borrow a wheelchair if needed. You go to the security office and sign one out. This is a huge help for those of us who need it. It has always been clean when I have been here, has great places to eat as well as a big food court. Right now there are beautiful decorations and Santa visits too. Some stores have holiday hours, so best to check which ones stay open later. I am a frequent flyer in this mall! read more

I used to go to this mall twice a week with my family. We all agree that we just don't feel safe there anymore!! Every once in a while, we will go to eat there and notice another one of our favorite stores has left. It's a shame that this wonderful mall has gone downhill. OMG, This mall is massive and so super busy. Honestly to much for me with the congestion. There are a variety of store options even an Amazon store-WHAT?? I didn't even know Amazon stores exist. I really wanted to go in but the line was yay-long and I didn't have the patience to wait to go in but just from my peeking it seems like a lot of good finds and lots of fun. It's nice to shop at Macys, Guess, Champs, Anne Taylor, and Francesca's. The food court is a joke, but there are more options to choose from in comparison to Triangle Mall. It would be great if Raleigh had more diverse stores or an outlet in general. Not a fan. This mall is deserving of a major facelift for the neighborhood. It's very dated and reminds me of the 90's. The Macy's is one of the saddest I've seen. The only stores worth visiting are Spencer's, Lush and maybe Victoria's Secret. The parking lot is a total joke. Don't dare park on the decks. Do yourself a favor and do the extra cardio. Park near Barnes and Noble for easy exiting. Can't say that I would visit again unless I'm dining at Cheesecake Factory and I can visit the mall in Durham for what that's worth. read more

This mall won't be around much longer. It used to be a thriving place but if you go there now you won't see many high end shoppers. It's mainly a place for low income people to go hang out on a hot (or cold) day now. Most stores are empty and hoping no one goes in and robs them. Oh well. At least there is Amazon. read more

I've been going to this mall for a long time. I remember buying my prom dress here with friends and I was excited to introduce my husband to it. We still enjoy going there to ship, grab food and hang out. However, I've been getting increasingly disappointed in it as time goes on. After COVID, benches started disappearing. As someone with disabled friends and who struggles with disability, this is incredibly frustrating on the weekends. I need somewhere to sit sometimes while shopping and I need it sooner rather than later. Especially when I'm on the other side of the mall from the food court and/or the food court is full. Recently, I've also gotten comments from men who are a part of mall security and vendors in the hallway telling me, out of nowhere when I'm walking by, to smile more. It's incredibly upsetting and one began yelling at me when I voiced it upset me. I've been decreasing my time at this mall and been driving to Durham instead. I don't want to be harassed when I go there and I'm tired of not being able to find someplace to sit on weekends. read more

Pretty nice mall, but there aren't many malls to compare it to as this is the main mall for this area. I came a few times in one week on different nights. They have a nice selection of stores. There are several hotels nearby and it's in a great spot near the airport. They have good chain restaurants - Seasons 52 and Uncle Julio's. It appears pretty crowded on week nights, but again it's not a wide selection of malls or shopping places in the area. There is plenty of parking and it's clean.. This is the go-to mall in Raleigh. Every store you can imagine is located here and there is a great selection of fast food or restaurants to choose from. The H&M and stores alike are well appointed. The parking is a big downer here. It's a labyrinth of disappointment and no matter how slow or busy the mall gets, it's just downright annoying. I know some malls are becoming a thing of the past, but Crabtree is still hopping. They have a good variety of anchor stores and smaller shops. The parking can be quite manic at times. You can always find a spot, but you might find yourself going around in circles in one of the parking decks to get in and out. They have a LOT of table-service restaurants, in addition to their busy food court. Kanki, Seasons 52, Cheesecake Factory, and PF Chang's are all in the mall, and Uncle Julio's and Brio Tuscan Grille are an easy walk across the parking lot. Be careful on weekends, though. The wait times for most of them can be long, so make a reservation if you can. read more

This mall seems to be going strong despite what you may hear about the death of the American mall. All stores are occupied and anchored by some strong players. We zipped in to Belk's to purchase dress pants and a button down shirt for a teenager heading to the high school dance. He prefers thrift stores when buying his own clothes, but mom was buying and he quickly got over the sticker shock. We walked away with a nice outfit for $75 and I was told I saved $75 on my purchase. We also toured through the Apple Store where this mom had sticker shock--$249 for EarPods. Last was a quick stop at Auntie Anne's for a cup of pretzel nuggets that weren't very good. That ended our semiannual mother son trip to the mall. We are hunter-gatherers, not socializing shoppers. Other than having to wind our way out of the parking decks wondering if we would ever escape, it was a quick trip in and out. BEAUTIFUL MALL! So I came here since I was in the area and decided to see what this mall was about. HIGHLY IMPRESSED with this mall- as they had a lot of stores I that I wasn't expecting. There is "Express", "P.F Chang", "Northface", and "Season's 52". There was also an "Auntie Ann's" & a "Cheesecake Factory". This mall is conveniently located in the center of Cary with a hotel directly across the street. The mall itself was/is very clean and even has some luxury stores within such as "Coach". Visited the mall Saturday evening for a quick bite to eat. Didn't have time for shopping but will definitely come back when in town. The parking situation was annoying to me but we ended up parking around the backside of the mall. Worst customer service!!! Not sure if the actual stores are closing and only doing online, but waited 20 minutes for help. My son was looking for two items 1) a camera 2) new beats headphones. They where all out of cameras so I ordered it at that moment online. Finally got the headphones. The guy who checked us out was so rude, unprofessional and up right arrogant. Wearing mouth masks is difficult to speak, but this guy was mumbling when I said excuse me I didn't hear you could you please repeat he got an attitude and said which part didn't you hear SMH. I'm old school, but have acclimated to this generation, but to represent this establishment in that manner totally unacceptable. Will shop elsewhere from now on. read more

Wow! This place is crowded. I came on a Saturday afternoon in March expecting it to be busy but nothing like this. It took forever to find a parking spot. If I lived in Raleigh I would take a ride share it taxi. Other than the parking the place is amazing. It has all the best stores and good places to eat. I don't even want to tell you how much money I spent on stuff I can't get back home. If it had more parking I might have given it five stars but the only five star mall I have been to is Northpark in Dallas TX. So remember, if you are going to Crabtree Valley mall be sure to hire transportation and bring lots of money. The place ain't cheep but it is lots of fun. read more

Crabtree happens to be Raleigh's most famous and favorited mall. The stores that are located within the mall are fantastic and most of them seem to be the trend right now. You will find stores such as forever 21, H&M, Apple, and many more. The mall happens to be such a commodity that on the weekends parking is not to be played with. There are many spaces to choose from and people tend to park anywhere they can. The mall has some of my favorite restaurants on the outside of the mall and inside the food court are some great places to eat as well. This was really a time warp for me. I haven't been in a shopping mall in years but I worked in a couple of malls (Valley View in Roanoke for the now-defunct Miller & Rhoads and Fox River Mall in Appleton at Dayton's-now Macy's). So when my friend wanted to go here while we were visiting Raleigh, I said sure. The second I walked in it was like I was back in 1989. Sure, there are some different stores but the perfume counter in the department store still makes my eyes burn and there is still a Dippin Dots place and a place that sells nuts. It really does seem like malls are not impacted by the external space time continuum. In any event, this mall was clean. It felt fairly safe. The best thing was that they had numerous seating areas for men to fall asleep. I hope that doesn't sound sexist but in the three areas I saw (one with chairs and two with couches) they were all populated with men and at least two guys were snoozing in each location. We're talking head back, mouth open, snoring! But you know, that's a great way to get a dude to come to the mall with their sweetheart, just give them a place to sit. Put up some big screen tv's and sell beer and you'd probably have trouble getting rid of them, plus you could make a little money. There are lots of dining options adjacent to the mall so if you want to eat or shop, this is probably a good location. read more
