Came here from another state to celebrate a kids birthday. Staff were slow and inattentive. Management was non existent.

This might be the nicest restaurant staff I've ever seen. Food was quick and staff was so helpful.

The service at this location in Cordele, GA is awful. We stopped there on our way home to Augusta. First, it took the hostess a moment to place us (party of 3) at a table. Once seated, the waitress never came. I took it upon myself to ask another waitress who told us that our waitress (Shamiya). We waited around long enough to hear a heated conversation about who table was whom. It shouldn't matter if there's a toddler at the table. We waited again and decided to leave. Horrible service. We were on vacation trying to enjoy some much needed hot breakfast after having to send our food back several times that never ended up being right. Food was horrible and the food was uncooked. when speaking to the manager Pam about the food. Pam stated that she watched them cook the food and that they use the same receipts that other Cracker Barrel's use. Instead of asking did we want to try anything else or how can I help make it better or even an simple apology that she refused to give. Instead Pam the manager became overly defensive and arguing with a customer. Pam the manager was so unprofessional. After I pointed out that she was being unprofessional. Pam stated you started it whatever your name is and I'm going to finish it at that pointe I asked another worker for cooperates number to follow up. Pam need some management training and is not fit to be in management position neither in a leadership position. read more

Coming in hot off the highway, I've been on the road since 6am and really needed a break. Crispy edged pancakes were calling my name and Kristin L helped give me some time to unwind and figure out what I was doing. Spoiler alert is I still didn't know after looking for a while, I started ordering twice and realized what I was picking wasn't what I wanted. I asked for a few items and she helped me pick what special to go with to get everything in. Super helpful staff and the food and atmosphere are all picture perfect when it comes to CB standard. I was driving through Georgia around lunchtime and decided to stop here for a bite to eat. I'm very glad I did. I was quickly seated, and my waitress came over to take my order. They serve either breakfast or lunch around midday. The lunch menu has sandwiches, salads and entrees. I opted for the meatloaf entree. It comes with either two or three sides, as well as biscuits or cornbread. The meatloaf, hashbrown casserole, green beans, and biscuits all tasted good. Service was quick and friendly. read more

Cracker Barrel is one of my go-to places for sure. On the way back from Atlanta, decided to stop by for a good "stick to your stomach" breakfast! :o) We were seated immediately; nice hostess; pleasant waitress. I love that there is a variety of meats to choose from and that they also include turkey sausage on the menu. In any case, I ordered the grilled catfish, grits, and scrambled egg whites. Others at the table ordered various entrees including bacon, cheese grits, hashbrowns, fried eggs, toast, pancakes and biscuits (never go wrong with having the biscuits). My fish was not as tasty as I would have liked, but it was ok. The grits are always spot on (not too salty, not too bland). Note, I had to have a talk with myself before I went in so as to spend money on the meal only! Such a temptation to purchase other items in the store! LOL! read more

The trifecta for food service and ambiance at every location from Wyoming to Florida. We traveled across the US in our Motorhome and stayed at many a Cracker Barrel, camping overnight but eating dinner and breakfast to 'pay our way' for staying over. While traveling Cracker Barrel is always visible by the highway so we stop on this heading to Florida. There was a waiting list of 30 minutes but they calls us before those 30 minutes. The Ambiance was good and busy. The food was on point as usual and we were in and out back on the highway! read more

My friend ( of more than 70 years-since 3rd grade) and I have been meeting at this Cracker Barrel twice a year for the past several years. She lives in North Florida and I live in Atlanta so this is our halfway point. We cannot praise enough the wonderful service of your employees here especially Nikki and Tammy. Since we are usually here 2 to 3 hours each time they always let us sit to the side and offer us excellent service. They treat us like family. And of course, the food is always delicious. You all are very fortunate to have them for employees. We hope we still have many years to come to meet halfway between our two homes. Thank you for being here. We stopped at Cracker Barrel today (09/22/2024) in Cordele. That was the absolutely worst experience I've ever had at a Cracker Barrel. A lot of things we tried to order, they didn't have. My sides were turnips and fried okra. I had 8 little okra and not even a full table spoon of turnips. The tea was awful and the silverware was very dirty. My sister's broccoli with cheese was undercooked broccoli sitting in a bowl of water. The waitress said that's how the cheese sauce looks. My friend had 10 green beans and we waited 10 minutes for plastic ware. I actually had to go get myself. Now, I understand why the business is going down. NEVER AGAIN!!!! read more

I ordered cinnamon rolls and everyone I was with got their food , and they finished their food before I even got my meal.

Server was fine. The kitchen was insanely SLOW. 3:15 pm on. Tuesday, about 6 in the place, and the food took nearly 30 minutes. Nope. Biscuits came as I finished my meal. When we walked in we were promptly greeted and seated. We were told the features of the evening which was helpful. Lakesha served us this evening. Our food came out super fresh and hot. I hate leaving bad reviews for places because it means I've honestly had a bad experience and multiple things went wrong. I'll start with the positive things: the seasonal specials looked interesting, the food was good, the location was clean and everyone was friendly. The negatives: the service and how long we waited for our food. I will say we were a table of 7 adults and 2 infants, but from start to finish our meal took about an hour and a half. It's disappointing that they didn't give us Biscuits while we waited on our food, but instead only brought them after we asked twice with our meal and 2 of them were burnt on top. Our server was nice, but also got a couple of our orders wrong and kept forgetting stuff. We had to ask for lemon for our tea twice, my mashed potatoes came with gravy after I specifically asked for only butter, and my sister in laws meal was missing the Biscuits and gravy. That being said all of the food except the Biscuits and gravy was hot, fresh and delicious. The food and the attitudes are the most important things so I'd eat here again when we have the free time. read more

Cute Atmosphere, Ok Food, Rough Service Cracker Barrel has been a go to spot when we are in little road trips for decades. They are a decent place for a decent meal at a decent price in a cool atmosphere. Lately it seems more than one has been getting more rough though like this one. The food was alright but not quite as fresh and tasty as usual. The lady that brought our food out didn't use a tray and had her long dirty fingernails literally in our hot apples and grits! Her nails looked ROUGH! Our waitress seemed overwhelmed and it seemed to be a slow day. Getting refills, or anything came sloooooowly, and then she would forget half the tie and we would have to flag her down. The people at the cash resisters and the hostess were friendly though. I feel bad giving 2 stars but I almost didn't eat my food and probably shouldn't have because of the fingernails in my food, but I was really really really hungry. read more

A Horrible Experience!!! Ordered 3 meals -- 2 came out and one never came out. My wife and I finished our meal and still no food came out for my 18 year old son. We were informed that they had no macaroni & cheese long after ordering. The waitress said there was no jelly for the Biscuits except sugar-free. About 20 minutes later, she said they found strawberry jelly for us but never came back to our table at all after that. My wife went to look for the waitress after about 15 minutes and saw her talking/flirting with a cook. We finally had to leave and go to checkout without my son ever receiving any food, never receiving the strawberry jelly, no drink refills, no updates, and no check. The food received was edible, but nothing special for $14.00 per plate. We were in the restaurant a little over 1 hour! Do not go Cracker Barrel in Cordele, Georgia! read more

I made a yelp account just to make this review. I cannot even fathom how this place is still open. The food was mediocre, overdone/burnt appetizers and lots of missing ingredients in said food we ordered. We ordered a medium rare steak, that was actually well done. Like rubber. But that wasn't the worse part. The service was sub par, not only did the appetizers come out AFTER our main dishes (even though we ordered them first of course) but it took over a full hour to have any food touch our table. Along with the fact they were out of many dishes, small things like ranch were unavailable to us - but the server was so inattentive and dismissing of anything we asked of her that in all of my life it was the first time we didn't tip. Considering today is Father's day, I can understand being low on supplies - but this restaurant barely had more than 10 people dining at this time (8-9PM), and the service was so slow that there was truly no excuse. I even started our meal with no fork, after asking the server twice and to no avail, I tried to go to the hostess stand to ask for one, but no one was even there at the front. The bathrooms were nasty and very unclean, no paper towels and the paper towel holders were unbolted from the wall and the bolts all over the floor, like someone had kicked it off. It took the server multiple reminders of small things, like biscuits, drinks and silverware to even have us receive any. Overall the worst dining experience i've ever had, Im glad this isn't our hometown cracker barrel. If you want to eat at a CB, don't come to this place - driving the extra distance for another one of these restaurants will be worth it in the end. read more
