I went to eat last night and the place was excellent and the food was great I had a meal of apples and coleslaw and carrots and hash browns casserole and it was delicious I also saw some people eating the new campfire skillet and it looked really good.The service was good I didn't have to weigh long. When on a road trip, Cracker Barrel is typically the place we stop because the restrooms are clean, you can get coffee, and there are snacks and random knick knacks to peruse. But ay yi yi: The restroom at this Cracker Barrel was probably the most unkempt one I've visited yet. Maybe the restroom has seen one too many transient travelers. Some Cracker Barrel locations will give you a cup of coffee gratis, but not this one. Which is fine because I don't walk into restaurants expecting free things, but still, I won't say no to free coffee. The coffee here is a couple of bucks and it comes in a pretty large travelers cup. They were having a sale on Reece's peanut butter cups the day we visited. Four candies for a dollar! Who can pass that up? read more

We were helped out in the store by a lovely girl named Aubrie. She was knowledgeable and friendly. A great help while I was choosing a candle. She also was our cashier. We will be returning to this friendly and welcoming restaurant. read more

Do not use DoorDash if you want your food hot or not mixed all together. After our Dasher picked up our order, he had to go to another restaurant and was there for over 20 minutes. Then he went to the other customer's home to deliver that food first and then to ours. From the time the DoorDash person picked up our order and delivered it, it was over 30 minutes. My pinto beans was mixed in with my mashed potatoes and gravy. Needless to say our Easter dinner was so cold, that I threw mine out as it was no good at all. Thank you DoorDash for ruining our Easter Dinner. read more

Do not DoorDash from this Cracker Barrel. We gave it one last chance to get the order correct. They didn't again. Every order has had items missing. But the restaurant won't make it right, they say we have to contact DoorDash even though the restaurant packs the bags. Guess employees are enjoying food which we paid for. read more

We went to Cracker Barrel (Henderson, KY location) Sunday 4/6/25 to share a meal with our daughter who lives out of town, and surprised us with a visit. The service was SLOW, but the restaurant was NOT busy (not the waitress's fault) she got our drinks out quickly, but then the drinks were not good, so she had to replace them ( Coke -no carbonation, replaced with Sprite). Then it took F-O-R-E-V-E-R to get our food (the waitress actually stopped by our table to assure us our food was coming). When our food was FINALLY served my daughter's mashed potatoes were big clumps AND cold, not a smooth consistency like mashed potatoes should be, my husbands were the same, even though he added gravy. My Lemon Pepper Trout was horrible (first time I've experienced that). My daughter said the chicken nuggets were awful (how do you mess up chicken nuggets). My husband said his 4-pc chicken was hot and good, this is the high point of this meal, along with the sour dough bread which was fine, and the vegetables (green beans/sweet carrots/corn) were fine. It was just a TRASH meal, it really was. It was SO bad we're going to "pause" eating there for a while. We had never experienced a meal this bad at Cracker Barrel before. We tipped our server well because it was not her fault that the food was TRASH, the KITCHEN/COOK was definitely the problem. We tipped the server in cash hoping she wouldn't have to share with the kitchen. The meal was ABSOLUTE TRASH. It makes me mad every time I think about just how bad the food quality actually was. I had a HORRIBLE experience at this location. Me and my husband went for breakfast one day, i got the pancakes with hasbrowns and eggs, my husband got the full breakfast platter. Our waitress, Kaitlyn, was very RUDE. She seemed like she was in a rush to leave our table to go in the back and chatter with co-workers. She seemed very uninterested in being there, and would avoid her tables, what seemed like all cost. While we left a tip because we know that's all they make, she did NOT deserve it! What's going on at Henderson Cracker Barrel?? The Restaurant is really dirty, you stick to the floor. If it had been one time I wouldn't have thought too much about it, but it's consistently dirty. We were in there today and the area where you go from the restaurant into the cash register area was black. That kind of dirt doesn't happen in one day, this is months of nasty. The food is usually good, but it has its days as well. I usually order their grilled catfish meal and ask that it be made extra spicy.

This review is for the HENDERSON, KY Cracker Barrel. Ordered 2 meals for car side online. Paid with a credit card. Pick up estimate was 4:35 p.m. My husband arrived and replied to the email that he was there in bay 4, with color of car and make. And he waited and waited and waited. Finally, at 5:00 p.m. I called into the store. Person who answered the phone said they had no order under our name. I told them I would be reversing the charges on my cc. (ALWAYS pay with a credit card folks). Suddenly she found my order. I asked for a manager. Asked if my food had been sitting for half an hour, if it was hot etc. He offered 2 complimentary desserts and delivered the food to my husband. He drove 5 MINUTES to get home. The food was COLD, the dessert was COLD. Worse service ever. If I could take back my tip I would. We typically eat at Cracker Barrel often. I think we will take a break for a while. Horrible service and the COLD dessert DID NOT make up for it. read more

It was the worst Cracker Barrel I had ever been to. The table was sticky and had particles of food on it. I waited 20 minutes until a waitress came up and said I did know you were here. The floors were filfthy and sticky. It sounded like a party going on in the kitchen. I didn't get what I had ordered I wanted the gravy on the side, not on the chicken. It took the waitress for ever to bring my tickets. I didn't not leave a tip, service was horrible. The older ladies at the register agreed that I shouldn't leave a tip. Severous sucks, took my grandson for breakfast before school, which is his favorite place for breakfast but we waited for our server but she was busy setting with 2 male customers doing crossword puzzles we were completely ignored as well as another couple. Didnt used to be bad at all however I was in there today at about 11am (not busy) seated immediately by our server then he never came back didnt even take our drink order. After sitting for 15 mins waiting we just got up and left so I cant even comment on the food. read more

The food is usually served at room temperature but it's edible. My oldest wouldn't eat his Mac n Cheese because it wasn't warm. My whole plate was room temperature but I'm not one to ask a server to take a plate back. Food would have been good if it was hot. read more
