They do it right. Love the breakfast. Lunch specials are perfect portion and a great price. Ordered the pot pie to go for a hearty meal at work. Tasted good. Only negative was it was all potato and little chicken. I am still going to try it again but hate to see a bunch of potato filler. Maybe next time will be different. read more

The first thing that always stands out to me every time I come here is the friendliness of the staff. They can be very busy and you will be greeted with a smile! I ordered the hay stack. Biscuits and grannies secret sausage gravy, two eggs on top with cheddar cheese on top and coffee. It was very bland, not a lot of flavor. The secret of grannies sausage gravy is it's not homemade. The coffee was ok. Service was good. This is a pet peeve of mine. They don't have fine ground pepper. The pepper is regular ground, which means you have to unscrew the lid to get the pepper out. That's just being cheap. Sandwich's come with homemade chips, if you want fries it's two dollars more. If you want hash browns or fruit instead of their potato casserole, it's two dollars more. There are a lot of people that like it, but it's not for me. I thought I'd give it a try. read more

My family and I come to this place for breakfast about twice a month. The food hits the spot every time we go there and the service is always attentive as well. They make you feel welcomed from the moment you walk in. The place is decorated nicely and they write their weekly specials out for the customers to see. The menu is expanding as well and more people need to appreciate the place for what it is. We'll be back! read more

We are from Kentucky and needed a place for breakfast while in the area one morning. It's kid friendly but also has a bar for drinks. We all opted for the breakfast and it was really good. The kids meals were reasonably priced as well as adult entrees. Service was good as well. We all enjoyed it and would stop again if in the area. read more

The food is awesome! My wife (who rarely gives out really positive reviews) said the chicken and dumplings were the best she has ever had. I had a salad bar salad... all was fresh and had chicken pepperoni and bacon for meat selection. The plate is huge so a one trip as an add on could fill you up before your food gets there. We stopped in after church with a reservation got right in, But those without a reservation mostly left due to the length of the wait. Service is a bit shaky but we expect that with any new place during the Sunday after church rush. Give it a try!! read more

We really wanted to like this place, but were disappointed. It was a weird vibe to have a bar open to the dining room which was family oriented. The service was slow and chaotic even though we were there shortly after lunch. Our water glasses sat empty until we flagged down a waiter to ask since the one waiting on us seemed to disappear. The Philly Cheesesteak was over cooked and dry. I asked for sauce to add something to the sandwich. My wife had the chicken fingers which were also over cooked and dry. All of us, two couples, had the homemade house chips and every serving at the table was over cooked and burned. Very disappointing after seeing such good hype and reviews about the place. I gave it two stars because I want to be as positive as possible! read more

My wife and I really wanted to like this place. Unfortunately, this was the worst dining experience we've had in the area in a very long time. Chicken was bone dry and the pot pie seemed like it was directly out of a can. Service was subpar at best. Sadly, we won't be returning. read more

While the place is small it is also cozy and nicely layer out. I had the whole hog burrito which was stuffed with sausage, ham, and cheese. The hash brown casserole was excellent. Our daughter had the grilled cheese sandwich and enjoyed it. The homemade chips were tasty. Looking forward to returning soon. read more

Brand new restaurant in Newburgh. Everything in there is brand new. I had the breakfast burrito and it was huge with great sausage, egg and cheese. I also had the fried potatoes and they were seasoned perfectly. Definitely a spot to try for breakfast or lunch. Dinner is going to be open in a couple weeks they told me. read more

What a pleasant surprise! Very good service on a night that they weren't expecting to be busy. I didn't go in knowing that they served alcohol. Mixed drinks, beer and wine. We had the chicken tenders and Philly cheesesteak. Both were cooked to order and a generous order of fries. I wish that I could remember the server's name, she did an excellent job juggling at least 8 or 9 tables, tending bar and checking in on any other needs. They were out of the pork chop, but it worked out, I enjoyed the tenders. read more

My husband and I tried going for breakfast one morning, it was a little busy so they took our name and said it would be a 10 min wait, we sat down. 15 minutes later we watch 3 different families walk in, they seemed to know one server. She actually sat 3 separate groups before us! After we had been waiting. After the first 2 we were kinds irritated but walked out after the 3rd. While we waited we watched servers arguing right at the bar in front of us, then decided a month later to give it another try and order something to pick up for supper. Called 9 times, went straight to a voicemail, so are customers supposed to leave a message I'm hopes someone will call them back to order? Will never attempt to eat there or order from there. Newburgh has enough places where people don't do their job, this is just one more. read more
