Hooray for Cracker Barrel and their continued support for RVers allowing us to stay overnight in their lot. I arrived after they were closed but in the morning, stopped in for breakfast before beginning my day. Great friendly service, I had eggs and sausage and biscuits. Lots and lots of coffee kept flowing and that made for a good start. Yes, CB now has wifi so I could check in on emails at work. I stayed as long as my battery lasted on the laptop before it was time to move on. [Review 19828 overall - 304 in Arkansas - 801 of 2023.]

    Inside of Country Fried "Steak"

This location has gone downhill quickly in the last few months. Ordered to-go with 6 pancakes, no syrup was included. The biscuits had no gravy with them and drinks were not included with the order originally. Every time I've eaten at a Cracker Barrel I order the Country Fried Steak, this time it tasted and visually appeared to be ground beef.

I hadn't eaten at a Cracker Barrel in several years. My friend had received a certificate good for two free meals, so each of us had steaks. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food! The steaks were perfectly cooked. It took a long while before someone stepped up to the plate to become our server, though. Once Mr. Will P. had claimed our table, the service was attentive and quick.

I get the worst waitress I've ever seen in my 57yrs on this earth. Brings the wrong food

The inside decor was very eclectic with art, paper stars hanging from the ceiling, and mix-matched furniture. It felt very fun. We chose to sit in a booth by the window around 1:00. There was only one other table of patrons when we arrived. It was very cold inside, but it looked clean. I ordered a ham sandwich with chips. My mom ordered a pick two with half BLT and a half cup of chicken and wild rice soup. The wait was slow for some cold sandwiches and premade soup. My sandwich was good but it just tasted like regular deli meat on white sandwich bread. The chips came from a basket with two different types of sun chips, which were not my favorite. My mom's soup did not have any chicken or meat in it, just the broth and lots of beans. It was also very spicy, which unfortunately didn't work with her dietary restriction. She wasn't able to eat much of it. We both got drinks, as well, but never refills. Our waitress didn't come back to check on us. Together the bill was in the mid $30s + tax and a tip. It just felt overpriced for mediocre food and service. Cute place, but I probably won't go back.

I ordered a vegetable plate, and the portion sizes were quite small. The cornbread was dry. At least the mashed potatoes were real. Ordering went quite slowly, with just two cash registers open. Wet silverware was available for customers themselves to retrieve at a table (bonus bacteria with your meal, anyone?). Margarine was what the restaurant had available; unsure if they had any real butter. The employees didn't seem to know the difference between these two very basic condiments. There was a significant amount of crosstalk amongst the employees, which unfortunately meant that customers' needs were not being met. They sold sourdough bread from an outside bakery, but the bread was over a dozen days old. I'm not planning on ever returning here.
