I just want to give a shout out to the manager of this location. They hired a wonderful person when they hired Emily in the "To Go Section" Emily to us was very special. She has the customer service skills you want in an employee. I wasn't felling well and she showed me that she was going to take care of me and made me feel like i was top priority. A great dinner, other than waiting 35 minutes after we ordered for it to arrive at the table. Later customers who were seated after us were warned but we were not and at that point it was too late to leave. Dinner was delicious - catfish for Mrs. K. with fried apples and carrots, "Smoky Southern Chicken Breasts" for me with mashed potatoes and broccoli. It was a good portion of each and our waiter was friendly and refilled drinks often. After dinner, a quick stop at a mostly clean restroom before we locked up the RV and spent the night. Restaurant tables were all full so a 5 min wait suggested but was only one minute at most; not sure why they ask for your phone number when they announce your by intercom. First of all, the service was great, so this review doesn't really reflect that part. The food however was sub par and had no wow factor for me. I'd probably still come back to give other menu items a try though. I always enjoy seeing all the knick knacks, candies and different products in their gift shop when I come into a CB, and this location is no different, having plenty of gifts and souvenirs to choose from. The staff is very welcoming, and we were greeted with smiles and small talk. The restaurant is clean and decorated with old Southern memorabilia. Our server Rebeka was friendly and attentive throughout our dinner, so that was a plus. But this particular night the food just didn't do it for me. Here's what we ordered: -Southern Fried Chicken: The chicken was breaded but it just wasn't crispy enough for me. I got this with green beans, mac & cheese and buttermilk biscuits as my sides. The green beans were okay, the mac & cheese was bland, and the biscuits were probably the best part of the whole dinner. They were perfectly warm and soft. I also got a side of fried okra which was breaded as well but not crispy enough. Disappointing. -Lemon Pepper Grilled Rainbow Trout: My mom ordered this with a side of okra and green beans as well. I had some of her fish and it didn't seem fresh. The taste was average and the serving was pretty small. We were traveling for the holidays and stopped here for what we thought would be familiar service. Boy were we wrong!! The service was really bad. It took a long time for our server to come to our table, when she did, it took at least 10 minutes to bring a water. She forgot my wife's drink. When we reminded her, it took another 20 minutes. We love Cracker Barrel and usually frequent them a lot on road trips because we enjoy the food and usually the service. This one didn't meet our expectations. It took our waiter a long time to even acknowledge us and take our drink orders. He explained he was covered two spread out sections of the restaurant. Once we finally ordered he came back 20 mins later and said before he could Get our ordered entered another waitress spilled a drink on it and it wasn't legible so he had to retake our order. We didn't explain why he hadn't entered our order for 20 mins. Once food came out it was wrong. Incorrect items and missing items with the meal. Good tastes food dispute the issues. Kingsland crackerbarrel is the most sucky place to eat , the food is like leftovers from the day before. The biscuits are hard enough to use for cement building blocks for a house. Cracker barrel is the worst business model I've ever seen in my whole life , don't trust me go look at linked in and look at the turn over of retail managers across the board . They treat their people very bad and they make their waitresses work extra with no pay . They get paid tips , but to keep your job they have to stay after their shifts and roll silverware for no pay at all . So Crackerbarrel get an F from me . 3 cheers for our server Ashley. * Entering this Cracker Barrel location always brings me so much joy, as I grew up going here in my younger years. * I've now moved away from town and have since developed several severe food allergies and autoimmune issues. * I normally just assume I can't eat at restaurants due to my allergies and I bring my own little travel mug of coffee and thermos of water: but Ms Ashley was able to offer me something that had no issues. She took my concerns so seriously and was so kind. * Ashley had the best spirit and was so fun. Mediocre service and Mediocre food!! We are traveling from Boston to FL. I was in need of some breakfast and stop there. The initial woman who spoke to me was kind hence the extra star but it was her manager who was problematic. She was ringing me for a different order. The receipt attached to the meals showed what I ordered however what's being shown on the screen of her register was different. Instead of being apologetic about it, homegirl was getting annoyed and irritated with me!!! I kept my composure because I was too tired to deal with stupidity and rudeness. 6-2-22 1:30 pm So we left South Florida in the early morning and now that we made it to Georgia definitely needed to stop. We have late dinner reservations so wanted to get a quick bite to hold us over. Hubby not a fan but I insisted. Always loved the country store to shop through as well as the food. We got a table for two and due to the late hour they were not very busy. Our waitress asked if we wanted drinks since they don't have club soda I stuck with just water. For lunch I ordered the Thursday lunch special sized Turkey with gravy, stuffed and a side of sweet potato purée. Also I was given a small container of cranberry sauce. I am here to tell you even the lunch size portion is ginormous so if you are hungry this will more than satisfy your appetite. Hubby ordered breakfast skillet omelette and was very pleased his came to more than me at $9.99. Now Turkey is my favorite but the actual quality of the food was more industrial than homemade. We are on the road and it did the trick just so nice to sit down. Our waitress was beyond wonderful so since the check was so tiny we had to give her way more than 20%. Please tip fair these restaurants especially sit down work hard. When I went to the register to pay temptation won and I got a small bag of Swedish fish. First off - we (family) go here a lot - we live up the road. Glad to see new employees and a lot of employees with 4 stars. We all get our usual and it seems time has taken its toll. Sadly to say, the quality of the food has diminished to the point of being really bad. The environment, with a new coat of paint, forced the cleaning of the items on the walls, which makes it looks great in there. Love the clean look. For the food - the French toast was anything but that. Sadly I remember, from not so long ago (last year) when had big thick slices of bread that was cooked well. This time, small over cooked nasty little pieces of some sort of bread. Sad. The meat loaf, use to be a 2 to 3 inch slice, but that has dwindled down to a pie shape slice of a Mac side of 1 inch and the smaller side down to a 1/2 inch or so. Sad. The chicken. Oh my the chicken. Not even sure what they have done there. Bigger pieces but underdone and the coating was absolutely nasty. Sad. The fries. What the heck. Small end chunks. Soaked in grease too long and nasty. Congrats to all the new employees. May the venture to work on the food quality and control aspect and bring back the great CB of yester-year. First off I'd like to say our waitress was amazing unfortunately I don't remember her name. We went to Cracker Barrel for an early dinner tonight. We were the only customers in the restaurant. I ordered fried chicken okra and mac and cheese. My wife ordered chicken and dumplings and okra. No dumpling so she changes to pot pie. My chicken was obviously left over from lunch it was dry and tasted old same with both orders of okra but i was hungry and decided i power through. The food was so bad I at two pieces of the chicken and left all the other food. I was tired so I didn't want to deal with a whole back and forth. won't be back for a while. read more

Hair in my food ! The waitress we had was nice but could've attended us a bit better, she gave me unsweet tea and then took a while to get just sauce. I let her know about my food and she took it back and then when it came back the chicken was hot (that's good) but my mash potatoes were cold in the middle, and the plate was over loaded with sauce, the waitress didn't ask how my plate was considering I just returned it. There's something about having brunch with your family by the fireplace in a Cracker Barrel. It surely sets the atmosphere for the rest of your day. I've always enjoyed a good experience and great food here. And today was no exception. I started with a hot apple cider. Pecan pancakes was my main course and there homemade maple syrup has a distinctive taste/flavor. Especially when they serve it to you warm ( if you ask.) A side of two scrambled eggs with two turkey sausage. I was filled. The atmosphere contribute to good conversation. Our waitresses were nice and friendly. We definitely enjoyed the large fireplace. And even took a short walk through their gift shop. A lot of old school items from candy to classic trinkets is inside the gift shop. Sunrise sampler for lunch! Stopped here because there is a Tesla supercharger across the street. Bacon sausage and ham were as expected. The paoched eggs that I ordered with it left a bit to be desired. One was over done and the other runny. Biscuits were soft and delicious. One star I had to remove because my server disappeared without leaving the check on my table and had to get another sever to find her and get my check And the other star was because their credit card machine took five attempts, CVV code and zip code to process my company card which wasted 10 more minutes... If I was being charged idle fees for charging I would have been really irritated, luckily that station didn't charge me anything for moving the car after it was done charging. Edit. I don't completely know how to review this location. Let's start with my visit and maybe I'll figure out a star rating. I was on my way from Savannah to Jacksonville and always stop at this exit for the supercharger. I decided to before I got to the exit I would check in early using their mobile site. Basically you're able to put your name on the waiting list so when you get there you're already on the list you just have to check in. So I though, that's awesome I'll be able to skip the always dreadful wait for crackle Barrel breakfast. I was sorely mistaken.. me putting my name on the list did absolutely nothing so I'm not entirely sure of the point. I had the exact same expected wait time when I got to the location as I did when I signed up 20 minutes prior. That's a downfall but it's how the system works so whatever. Doesn't reflect on this location just the corporate level system so it won't sway my review. I finally get seated, I've been preparing for this moment now for 30+ minutes (for one person). The waitress comes over to greet me and take my drink order so I go ahead and give her my meal order as well to save on time. I ordered the French toast breakfast that comes with bacon and eggs and a coffee with cream and sugar. I put emphasis on the cream because i use quite a bit of it. A few moments later the waitress comes back out and sets my mug down and fills the cup to the brim.... no room for cream.. no room for sugar.. so I just take it in stride and drink black piping hot coffee to make room for my cream and sugar... oh yea did I mention she dropped off a total of two creams.... Another gal comes out to bring my food, comes different than my original waitress. The first thing I notice as the tray almost slams into my face is the multiple hairs hanging from the tray. Being a shedding gal I automatically grab the hairs and toss them to the floor. Immediately she sets down pancakes, bacon, and eggs. Before I could say this wasn't what I ordered she was gone... so my waitress comes by to fill my coffee (still hogging cream from me) and I tell her this isn't what I ordered.. I was expecting a reply along the lines of "oh no! Let's get this fixed" instead I got "my apologies" AND SHE WALKED AWAY........... I can honestly say that has never happened to me.. like never. So I eat, now, my pancakes. I'm not going to complain about the food because it was good for what it was. Pancakes were nice and had that crisp we all love so much. Eggs were just like normal eggs. And bacon was crispy, not the way I like it but I didn't ask for soggy so my fault. This was such a weird experience because I wasn't treated poorly by any means but I don't think I was really given great service either. It was overall just an odd experience. Ultimately I don't think I'd return based on this experience because for no wait and the same quality food I can go to Denny's next door or even Waffle House all I'm walking distance from each other. read more

So we were heading back from FL, and being Vegatarian on the road doesn't give you a ton of meal options. Snacks yes...meals no. So we decided to go classic Cracker Barrell. This location was your classic design, layout, menu as you would expect from any other store of this chain. So let's talk some specifics... Covid: This location is full service, so all tables available as pre covid normal. Employee wear masks and you are required to wear one coming into the establishment. Service: Nia was our server and she was awesome! She was checking in on us and replacing drinks without asking. She also had a good report with other customers that appeared to be regulars. From a previous experience with a server, my hubby and I learned some resturants share tips. So because Nia was so good, I asked was this the case here as we noticed her leaving. She informed me that it was actually different at Cracker Barrell in that if the customer stays PAST the shift of their server, the next server gets the tip. Even though we were done eating and was just lingering talking with bill in hand, because she clocked out BEFORE I paid the next server that we did NOT EVEN KNOW was going to get the tip! How lame is that??? The server finished their job, but was going to be penalized because we choose to linger or walk around the store. Super lame for that! The server on the bill should get the tip. Food: Food was everything you would expect from a Cracker Barrel. So it was good. Beginets were disappointing though, and definitely not something I would buy again. But for 4 bucks..if you hadn't had them...its worth a try. Never know if you like it. Now the biscuits...those were quite yummy, and my favorite item on the table for this visit.
