It's a Cracker Barrel so we know what to expect in terms of ambiance. Very old school and rustic look. The staff is friendly and quick. They gave me some suggestions on the menu which was appreciated. The buttermilk pancakes are sooo delicious. We also go the blueberry pancakes and they were good as well with the blueberry syrup.

We go to Cracker Barrel a lot and love it. We have no idea how it went so downhill so quickly. We got the steak and chicken combo tonight. The mashed potatoes were a hard clump of brown mystery chunks. The steak resembled a pork chop. The chicken fingers could have been mistaken for shrimp. We were so grossed out, we left without even trying anything. So disappointing.

Stopped in for a lunch break during our drive from NYC to the Poconos. Wasn't expecting much but the food was OK. Service was a bit slow - they didn't seem to have enough staff. My lunch didn't look like the photo in the menu but the firepit chicken in a skillet (can't remember the actual name) was more food than I could eat so I sealed up the foil and took the leftovers.

    Cozy restaurant.

Please understand that most of my Cracker Barrel reviews are the same. The restaurants are all alike the difference is what I am ordering, staffing and location Cracker Barrel is just the All American go-to place when we are traveling. I mean, how can you go wrong here? No matter where I am it seems like the people are all the same. We came here for breakfast while traveling to Albany, NY on our way to our Kiwanis special meeting. From the second you're on the porch of CB until you sit down, it's like a deja vous from one restaurant to another. Always a nice greeting when you walk in and usually seated right away. My wife and I were with friends so there were a lot of delicious meals on the table. It was a Friday and I had the delicious 'fish fry' of fried catfish and mashed potatoes and my wife had the pot roast. What's nice is their consistency from location to location and their food which always matches my level of expectation. This place never disappoints you no matter what you order. All delicious and huge portions of food. Our waiter was delightful-pleasant-helpful who was genuinely concerned that everything at our table was to our liking. The level of caring here is commendable. KUDO's to the Cracker Barrel franchise and their incredible teams. I am a fan. Who knows, one day.... Long Island. (Can you imagine the line they'll have there?)

First time coming to a Cracker Barrel. Love the concept! Solid comfort food stop with a fun store. Definitely worth the visit. We stopped in on a weekend afternoon and had a really nice experience overall. The place has that classic Cracker Barrel vibe. Rocking chairs out front, the country store full of nostalgic candy, quirky gifts, and way too many things I "almost" bought. Their steaks were very good. Tender and flavorful. We ordered a steak with shrimp and a steak with chicken. The food was exactly what I came here for: hearty, homestyle, and comforting. Our server was friendly and kept everything moving at a good pace, even though the restaurant was pretty busy. Refills were prompt and he had good recommendations from the menu. There were so many interesting candies I remember from my childhood in the store. Also a lot of gizmos and gadgets for the kids. Everyone left with something! Great restaurant, great concept, and great theme. Would definitely return again!

Food is always so good. Comfort food at its best. Today I got the Fish Fry it was so good so fresh. Mac and cheese with bacon was good but pasta was over done. Still I enjoyed it. I love all their cold teas. And a seat by that big fireplace in a cold evening was amazing. Server Nick was very attentive. Biscuit's came out quick as did my refill of Berry Tea.

Review specific to this location/experience: - Same familiar layout and decor as all Cracker Barrel Old Country Stores: market place with home goods, toys and clothing in the front; restaurant/dining area towards the back on the left; signature CB rocking chairs and giant checker boards line the exterior of the establishment - No wait for our party of 4 on a Saturday evening around 5:30p: we think this is early, but more than half the restaurant was already full with even earlier patrons! - Service was swift: waitress seemed a bit overwhelmed with the amount of tables she was tending to but she got us everything we ordered/asked for quickly and accurately! - Food quality is consistent with all of our prior experiences: kid's tenders always surprises us with its crispy exterior, and tender, moist and flavorful interior! - Consistent 3 stars for food; 4 stars for service this time around

We stopped at Cracker Barrel in Mount Arlington, New Jersey Which is one of our favorite breakfast restaurants and we had a delicious breakfast. Food was hot great and the atmosphere was great and Monica our server was phenomenal.

This is meant to be a fast casual restaurant with a southern-style menu and classic American charm, serving up breakfast favorites and simple American staples. While the aesthetic and menu are on theme, please do not have unrealistic expectations of this dining experience. We came on a Friday afternoon and while we were seated in under 10 mins, the wait time for the food was closer to 30 mins. The table service was minimal and we had to intentionally flag down our waiter to request things like refills. I don't necessarily blame the wait staff since it seems this establishment's system of service/bussing is clearly not sustainable. Other reviews mention multiple nearby tables remaining vacant and unbussed for over 20 mins, and unfortunately that was our experience as well. There were only a few wait staff for the entire restaurant and they each did all the work. The food itself was really standard fare-- not particularly flavorful or seasoned, but you do get what you pay for. I did enjoy the eggs and pancakes, and the hash brown casserole was nice and cheesy. The biscuits and corn muffins were very bland and basic. Everything else was just alright. If you are not in a rush, like the idea of unlimited refills on basic beverages and enjoy this style of food, this could be a budget choice for simple dining, and you get the bonus of exploring the nostalgic and quirky store. This is like a Denny's or Applebee's level of restaurant, but slightly lower.

I ordered the 4 piece Southern fried chicken with mac and cheese and hash brown casserole. The chicken could have been taken out of the fryer sooner. It was ok, but it was over fried to my liking. The two side orders were delicious. And their biscuits were soft and not like a hockey puck. We also had the Momma's French Toast breakfast with eggs and sausages. The French toast were delicious! Service was ok. Took a lot longer for us to be seen because of the server tending to a family of 5. Overall this is a good place to go.

Went for breakfast this morning at 7:00 am and had some very good food and atmosphere. The real hearth was burning when we walked in and the service was quick and friendly. I had the Good Morning breakfast with scrambled eggs, turkey sausage sliced tomatoes, grits and fresh fruit cup. My wife had the baked pecan stuffed French toast. My breakfast was healthy until i added some pecan syrup to my grits which made them wonderful. I just wish the coffee and tea weren't so expensive . A cup of coffee was $3.50 and a cup of tea was $3.20.

Final bill, 45 minute delay, food order was incomplete and they still take customers?

For starters today 8/12, Ihappen to be heading across P.A via route 80 east to Long Island. Already there was a big accident on exit 19 on the 80 east that affected all but one lane. I made it thru, thinking i be fine to stop at Cracker Barrel store on exit 30. Boy was i wrong, should have seen it coming. I walked in to get a table 1:20pm, 12 minute wait, seemed reasonable. I noticed the restrooms were messy, overflowing towels on the floor and a stench of death for men and ladies restrooms. My family and I, decided to overlook it. Eventually we get a table, we realized tables are empty and dirty dishes were behind. We were seated between 2 dirty tables during the entire meal. At about 137pm, waitress came by took order. Water and coffee for the table arrived 15 mins later, waitress was missing 1 beverage order. Finally at 2pm, food arrived for 2 of the 3 people at my table. Finally my beverage arrived as well. 2:08, tne last order arrived. Completely unorganized serviced. While i get it the store does not have enough staff, a manager could have came over and apologized for the delay and the lack of service. At no point did anyone come over. I waa upset, my waitress was flustered, she was trying to engage but honestly she was the only person working on that side of the restaurant. Nobody helping her to deliver food or beverage. I went to counter to complain about the horrible service and lack of. I was told they had sick calls, so why continue to take tables when you literally have a minimum of 45 to 60 minute delay. Lady at cashier, stated the did not have enough staff. For sure wont be coming back for lunch, disengaged staff, no manager around and they dont care about the customer, or the quality of service.

***2 1/2 stars***…read more It's rare that I have a mediocre experience where I actually want to go back to the place to give it another shot. I came here yesterday for a post-Odyssey meal with my top-tier chum from the Kingdom of Sussex around 3:30pm. We found this place by playing one of my favorite games, Yelp Roulette, where you scroll through the nearby activity feed and just pick a place that shows up on there. You can really get burned doing that, or find an interesting spot you wouldn't have otherwise stumbled upon. This one was a little column A, a little column B. The overall space is what Norte 175 really has going for it - it's a really cool building, and they've done some edgy interior decorating. It's super spacious and definitely a place I could see myself coming back for drinks in the future. My chum got a margarita but I'm in training so had to forego - arguably, maybe that was the issue; comparing notes, the drink was probably the best item either of us had, and I didn't get it. And it IS a tequila bar. I did get a diet soda, which had solid carbonation, so there's that at least. Neither of us were insanely hungry (we had a bit of fuel before our three-hour movie screening) so we split three apps - the guac, the chicken quesadilla and the grilled octopus. None of them were particularly noteworthy. Palate preference, but the guac had way too much stuff in it for me; I like a smooth, avocado-forward guac, not obscenely chunky with tons of onions guac. The octopus was not the best - texture is really important with that dish, and this one was way too chewy. The accompanying sauce didn't do enough to negate that for me. And the quesadilla was just okay; a bit bland and could probably use some kind of aioli sauce in it, or perhaps more seasoning overall with the chicken. It was fine and the best of the three, which sadly isn't saying much. We also got the raspberry lemon mousse cake (well, pretty much I did - my chum had literally one bite to be polite). As you can see from the attached, it doesn't look like anything like its stock photo on the menu, which is worth noting - still looks fine but given how different it looks in person, arguably false advertising on some level. If you're thinking about getting it, I'd rely on customer photos versus the menu if the optics are important to you. Tasty but a little too sweet - they doubled down, essentially, on the tartness, which made it a bit overwhelming, but I could easily see a lot of people being into this. The service was just okay. Our waitress did stop by occasionally but just didn't seem to be in a great mood. It honestly felt like a bit of an imposition to ask her for anything. Obviously could have just been having a bad day, but when your primary responsibility is hospitality dot dot dot. She wasn't mean by any stretch but I just wouldn't categorize her as pleasant. Is what it is. This place could really benefit from its location, literally five minutes from the Rockaway Mall - and this isn't an area with an enormous amount of options beyond the chains, so they have a legit opportunity to cash in if they can improve the food options. We'll see what happens in the future with round two.

This place is not prepared for more then 2 tables. took 30 minutes to get our drinks, 45 minutes to get our food. Hamburgers and Tacos. not a complicated order. 45 minutes to wait for food and they got my order wrong. I ordered Fish Tacos, saw the waitress (bar tender) write it down. Not sure how it translated to a salad??? So had to send it back and wait 20 more minutes to get my "Fish Tacos" (came out as "Shrimp Tacos"). Had to get it to go since it was over and hour and we had to get back to work. Party of 5, and I had to watch everyone eat and then I had to carry my lunch in a to go bag and eat it when I got back to the office. I kow there is good reviews listed but that must obviously be when the are fully staffed at night. Their staff today 6/16/2026. One server, Bartender, and chef. That is very poor management. multiple parties walked in while we were sitting and watch them take 15 to 20 minutes to be seated. This was the 3rd time we tried this place for lunch and it always takes 30 to 45 minutes to get food. Will be the last and we always tell our Corporate coworkers to NOT go there becuse it take way to long. You can go to Reno's right down the street with 10 people and each lunch with in an hour. Sad thing is, like I said, the food is actually pretty good
