Food is your typical premium casual dining, it's good but nothing fancy, which is ok as you're probably going for the rooftop patio and drinks! Server we had was extremely nice and good at her job! She came by to check on us tons despite the rooftop being extremely busy! Only complaint I have is the music on the patio was ridiculously loud when we went? We were a group of young people who like to party but the music was so loud we practically had to yell at each other across the table. I noticed each table around the bar had a massive speaker directly above it which probably was the main issue. Went for happy hour food and drinks. Appreciated that their happy hour food menu was more than just a couple of appetizers at a cheaper price. There are a few main dishes as well, so you could easily have a late lunch or early dinner. Nice selection of drinks, including non-alcoholic ones. Crispy rice sushi felt like it would have been better with just regular sushi rice, but was still tasty. A little spicier than expected, but the lettuce wrap was quite tasty. They gave you the right amount of lettuce vs. filling, though I wish it were actually more vegetables compared to the protein. We highly recommend the crispy chicken, though not sure it would actually go well on ramen. Service was good, though it was a little odd that the person who introduced themselves initially didn't really pay attention to us, so we ended up mostly being served by someone else. read more

I went to CRAFT with a friend and we took advantage of their all day happy hour on Sundays. I ordered the strawberry yuzu pisco sour, which was delicious and I hope it becomes a full time menu item since it currently is just a feature. To eat I got the chicken lettuce wraps which are always a favourite for me, and my friend got an assortment of their tacos, which were good as well, but the chicken lettuce wraps felt like better value for money given the portion size. We sat on the patio which has a great vibe, but many of the tables are sat in the inner middle area with a half wall for some privacy and to fit some more tables in; that does mean that if you get sat on the inside, like we did, that you lose some of the view and purpose of wanting to sit on the patio. It didn't significantly impact the experience for us, but I would recommend requesting a seat near the outside if you are specifically picking the patio for the view. Our server was great, and was quick to ask the kitchen when we had an allergen question, and drinks and food came quickly even though it was busy. Overall, this is still a favourite spot, especially during their happy hour, and has a prime location for locals and tourists! read more

Wow just wow, we ended up at Craft as kind of a second choice. Our first choice was fully booked for the night so after walking around we found Craft. And to be honest it will be our FIRST choice from now on. Firstly the service was amazing. I think I tried 8 or 9 beer samples and each was brought, explained and with a positive spin. The server Sarah was fantastic, knowledgeable and great with her explanation and knew what was going on. We shared a Mac & Cheese as an appie. The mac was great, the flavours with the hint of spicy pepper and tons of cheese was exactly what I was craving. Then we had a the AC burger which was delicious (with the exception that I subbed raw onions for delicious pickled ones) and I had a salad with it the house basil vinaigrette was great! Finally we had the fish tacos, fish was great the house hot sauce was good. My only minor issue is the cabbage was dry. Not tossed in anything like lime juice or something. Ambiance: great. Rooftop bar is so cool. High top and bar seating is first come first serve and pretty much has a good view wherever you sit. Honestly, save yourself the trouble and just come here for drinks and maybe a shared app. My friend and I had a really good laugh over the differences in our meals (see photo attached). I got the cauliflower tacos and her the beef. We had asked how big they were- as you know, tacos can come in all shapes and sizes. We weren't ravenous, but we wanted something filling enough. When our tacos came out we were shocked by the difference. Mine were huge, took up the whole plate, cauliflower tacos with other delicious toppings. Hers were TINY. And only $.50 less than mine! I think they were 4" corn tortillas with only meat on them. No toppings or anything. When she confronted the waitress about it, she said "I forgot to mention the corn were smaller". LOL yes you did. The plus side, she said they were delicious! The one saving grace. The fries were hard and burnt and cold. The soup was tomato basil and had great flavor and seasoning. Full transparency - I would rate them 2 stars but I feel that it would be harsh because a lot of people in Kelowna like them... and maybe I have been spoiled with better food. So here goes my honest review. I did not try their beers and only their food so maybe their craft beer are better. We had a large group and it was evident the servers were overwhelmed and got one of our orders wrong. However the server was professional and got us the correct order. We finally got the Cali bowl but the avocado was extremely underripe that we couldn't even stab a knife through with it. We did bother talking to the servers as I could see them whispering about someone else not picking up the slack on the floor ( no fault the servers). The Argula pizza was extremely salty ( as mentioned in another review) way too much cheese, salt and the pizza was salty itself. The crispy chicken sandwich was all batter no chicken. The sliders were underwhelming- once again all batter The chicken ramen had soggy noodles The Mac n cheese was oddly bland and the cheese sauce was heavy on creme and butter but rather than the flavour of butter it tasted like margarine. I get that it's a pub and food is not going to be 5 stars but the food was medicore at best, and I would say go across the street to Kelly O's for better pub food. I get that locals would love this place as this is the only option for a nice pub restaurant but if you had food at other regions ie Vancouver, you would be disappointed in this place - especially at the high price point read more

**Drawing comparisons to Vancouver's CRAFT Beer Market. Super busy -- we were told it would be a 2 hour wait. Luckily we could kill lots of time due to the great location. We got a text when our table was ready and it was a big table. Great spot. Service -- I get they've only done their soft opening but their service was extra shitty. The waitress took two beer orders left and punched it in and would disappear before coming back to take two more of our orders. Yes, we were a table of about 8 but doing this method meant our beers all arrived within a 15 minute gap and we couldn't "cheers" together and some were already done their first beer. They also seemed to forget food orders but I'll give them some mercy considering they were slammed on the long weekend. Interior - They don't have as many pipes going through the building like the big ol' building in Vancouver's Olympic Village so it didn't totally make your jaw drop like it does the first time you go into the Vancouver location. Still a great vibe overall inside! Same drinks, same food -- food is actually about $2-3 more per dish vs. the Vancouver location (unless the Vancouver location has jacked up their prices as well and I just haven't been there in a few months) I would return for Happy Hour or casual drinks but maybe eat before you go. read more

Man oh man, this place is definitely worth checking out. I ordered the carnitas tacos and they were super fresh and a the sauce complimented it well. We also ordered the happy hour crispy chicken sandwich- OMG. I couldn't believe the size it was for $14. The chicken was perfectly cooked, and so juicy. The bun was just the right amount toasted and buttery. The maple syrup sauce definitely made the sandwich. I've been here twice now. The first time was nice but a pint of Saporro was $10.00 +++. Given the million dollar location, I decided to pay the price again today. Despite the sidewalk counter being 3/4 empty I was told I might need to wait for a seat. But I was eventually allowed to sit on one of their exceptionally uncomfortable metal stools. Then the waiting began. Regardless of the request for a menu, another beer, a box for my food, the bill, a machine through which to pay ... the wait was unacceptable. I wrote a review about those things but did give CRAFT credit for the good food I waited long enough for. Then I got the chips and guacamole home. Thanks for the 7 inch hair in my guacamole CRAFT in Kelowna. Limited capacity. Poor service. ALL for a higher-than-average price. And then ... there's the DISGUSTING cleanliness issue. Great location, so many options to choose from the drink menu one can and I did find it a bit overwhelming. We had dinner on the rooftop patio which has amazing views looking out over the waterfront and downtown Kelowna. I'm not sure if our server was new or just overwhelmed by how busy it was but unfortunately we had to wait a long-long time for my husband to get his beer. My moscow mule and our appetizer of cauli bites arrived before his beer. We had to corner our waitress to find out what happened only to find out that beer was new and not yet on tap. Hmm, ok so order something different...after waiting again and that one didn't show up either. I'm not entirely sure what happened but the manager came by and sat down and apologized to us and brought my husband a complimentary tasting paddle of which he then chose a beer from. Hence my review, I'm not going to penalize them when they made the effort to rectify the situation. Very good recovery by the manager who checked on us a few times and took care of my drink and the appy. The food was fantastic, I had the Ahi Tuna Poke bowl and my husband had the Brewhouse Chicken Sandwich. I think I learn my lesson every time I go to this place, but clearly I don't... I gave my number to be contacted when a patio table became available, and went for a walk. Received a text it was ready for us. We were told to head upstairs and someone will seat us. We waited another 7 ish minutes at the empty upstairs host stand until we were seated. Once we sat, we waited another 15 minutes before we were greeted by anyone. By this point, we realized it was a bit chilly in the shade, and there were 5 open tables in the sun, complete with their "This table has been sanitized" growler to indicate they were ready for guests. What luck!! I asked the host if we could please move to a table in the sun, and was told that there is a "bit of a wait list" for the patio. I remember this wait list, as I was just on this wait list myself while we waited for our table... on the patio...I thought I just got off the wait list, do I have to wait again? Where is my placement in the queue now that I am officially sitting down? Do I have like a first right of refusal situation here for what table I am at? I begin to ask about specific available tables. The one in the corner? Someone is on their way up already for that specific table. A table large enough for 6, and they sat 1 guest at it... and that person turned out to know the staff somehow, as it was clear by the amount of time the manager and servers spent there chatting with this VIP. Okay, not the one in the corner then... I ask about other tables around me, and keep receiving the response that the patio is on a "bit of a wait list." So essentially, no, I can't move from my untouched, zero service items yet, cold table of darkness, into the one immediately to my left or right, bathing in beautiful sunshine and heat, that would have gone perfectly with the drinks I ordered several times, and hadn't received yet. I negotiate a bit harder, and we finally reach an agreement that I will be allowed to move to the only dirty table on the patio, once someone cleans it. I would JUST have to wait another 25 minutes before that job would be completed. (The staff were busy see, chatting with their VIP.) Once it is clean, I am now patiently waiting for my sunny glory, I can see it, its ready for me, we're finally going to be together. (All the while, there are 4 tables beaming with sun, that I could have been ignored at instead.. tempting me...) I see the same host emerge from her secret hiding place, and think this is it... its our time. But wait, this host who agreed we could move there, is walking past me, breaking the trust we had built, with another group of people, and is seating them at our promised table. I was devastated. (not really, just what the...?) I proceed to approach her to ask if perhaps she forgot about us, forgot about all that we've been through together, and she responds with the surprising, and totally unexpected answer, that the patio "is on a bit of a wait list", so she HAD to seat them there, because clearly they must have been on the wait list before me, but arrived after me, so they take precedence. Solid logic. I push back explaining my own logic, that once we move from our table, to another table, that there will still be the same amount of tables available!! Imagine that math? She says she will have to ask. I go back to my table and basically finish my meal, when the manager approaches me, and addresses that she has received word we would like to move tables, and that "unfortunately, their patio is on a bit of a wait list for tables right now..." Shocker. I explain to her the entire run down of our experience in the battle for a sunny table since we arrived, and she agreed to "go and check for me." Not sure what she is checking, as I can see right behind her, the same 4 sunny and readily available tables, that remained empty my entire stay. At this point, I wasn't even phased to wait again though, as I never left the wait list the entire time I was here. I had become the wait list. Upon her return, we are all finished our meals and drinks, and definitely weren't interested in staying for another round. She offers to seat us at the table behind us. I decline the offer and advise her we will actually be leaving to go elsewhere, and would like our bill. She tried to explain her operational procedure of how a wait list works for them, little did she know, I had become an expert in the 1.5 hours that I spent on it during my time there. I had to let her know I had zero interest in her explanation of what goes on behind the scenes. This was my perception as a guest, and as a food and beverage professional, who remained patient, empathetic, and polite, to their new operational challenges. They failed hard at making their guest happy. I gave them many opportunities to easily solve my request, laid out solutions for them, and hit the wall every time. read more

Man oh man, I wanted to like the food here because the atmosphere is super cool and it just felt like the food would be stellar. Not stellar and, in fact, was actually disappointing. We went for happy hour and ordered off that particular menu. We had chicken sliders and they consisted of the flattest piece of deep fried chicken I've ever had on a bun and what a joke at $4 each! The slaw on it was bland but the bun was really good so I'll give it that. We had the deep fried pickles and they were quite good but the dip that accompanied them was so boring. I don't know what it was - perhaps a sour cream base mixed with very few spices and definitely no salt. The Nashville Hot Cauliflower was bland and cold and I had to ask for salt to give it some flavor, which is strange because usually anything with hot sauce is plenty salty just from the hot sauce. Horrible. The Baja Fish Taco had a super small piece of deep fried flavorless fish that didn't even reach the edges of the taco and the slaw was totally flavorless. Needed salt. The only thing that didn't need salt was the deep fried pickles. The reason we tried Craft out in the first place was because we saw a video on YouTube and the fellow that posted that showed great shots of wonderful looking food and sounded very impressed with what he and his friend had ordered. Perhaps it's just the happy hour food that's not good. I don't know. But the food we had off the happy hour menu was so bad that we can't imagine taking a chance and going back to try something on the regular menu. Service was great, by the way.... read more

We have been here 3 times now and have had an above average experience every time. We didn't give 5 stars for a couple reasons. Firstly, there was a bit of confusion between the staff after we decided to move one table over because we were crowded into another table. Secondly, we are not picky people, but if we were, we would have had to send the 'medium rare' steak back because it was quite rare. Service was good, they were attentive enough and as friendly as you'd expect. Atmosphere is pretty inviting, we had no issues sitting and chatting after our meal and feeling comfortable doing so. But if it is busy, expect to be seated quite close to another table. We will definitely be going back! read more

Came to Craft when vacationing in Kelowna for a long weekend. We looked at the menu online and it sounds great so we decided to try it out. Firstly, we got a seat on the roof top patio really quick which was nice, however it was raining a bit. To drink we had a flight of local beers, all very quite good and the normal selection of beers is massive if you want to try anything else! To eat we had the avocado bacon burger and the tuna poke. The burger comes with two patties however both quite small. Flavour was good but nothing to blow your mind. The poke was very refreshing and tasty, my only concern was the pieces of tuna were cut really small, similar to the diced cucumbers. For dessert we had the cookie ice cream sandwiches. It comes with a caramel ice cream which was delicious but the cookies we kinda hard which made the entire dish messy to eat. Overall a decent experience, the staff was very friendly and the location/view is awesome. I would definitely come back to try other items on the menu. 7.2/10 read more

Everything was 100%, fantastic atmosphere, friendly staff, great late night happy hour food and an amazing beer selection. Our server (I think Lydia was her name after talking to the host) was unbelievable, she was able to suggest a beer exactly to my taste. When there was an issue with the immediate pay option at the table she had a solution right away, we got talking to the manager on duty also and he was really personable and helpful too. The smallest criticism I could have is that our drinks took a few mins to arrive, but the food came so quick so no problem whatsoever. Really highly recommend, definitely a chain bar I could get behind. Well done read more
