Save it! you're only trying to save face. You do not need you to write me back and tell me some pretend fake you care spiel. You don't. You have every authority to make this matter better for myself and the other unhappy customers. You haven't but you've taken the time to go put some fake comment on their review. Along the lines of, your hands are tied. No your hands are not tied. You have the authority and power to correct something your store sold as a faulty product or broken product. That's why you're the manager you choose not to correct the situation. Vancouver is saturated with cannabis stores. customers shouldn't have to treat themselves to poor experience and low quality products. I like this store for its consistently in product. They don't have the largest selection of growers but they have a large selection from each grower that they do carry. Based on what I have seen at other smaller weed shops, it seems that some of their prices are higher... especially considering that they buy, I'd assume, larger quantities than any other venue in the area. But for me the location is convenient and the few bucks extra are just worth it for me. I miss some of the familiar faces from the past but I'm pretty easy to please as a customer and am usually in a good mood when in a pot shop... I mean it's like my favorite store... so I was particularly surprised today when I had a negative experience with my bud tender. I walked in after a very busy 10 hour work day. I had a big smile on my face and I knew what I wanted. The parking lot looked busy when I had pulled in but there were only about 8 customers in the store at that moment. I think (Kaleb?) turned from the register to greet me. I smiled and made a comment about business before a big holiday. He had no expression. I said a second thing and he looked confused. I said, I'm trying to joke around with you but I'm not sure you can handle it. He said -I can handle it, I just don't want to. He continued by telling that he's had a long day and is almost off work so he's tired. -- I'm not sure how long my pause was before I told him the grower I prefer and asked which strain would be best- he helped me. Our interaction lacked luster from that point forward. I was pretty turned off by him in general and if any other shop was in the area I would have walked out. Maybe that's an overreaction but I felt pretty annoyed by the comments. When I have a good experience in this store, I usually at the register will ask the bud tender if there is a favorite joint they are liking. If they seem put off because, I'm at the register and should have asked sooner - I just say thank you, pay for my stuff and move on (that's happened 2x in 100x) when they are eager to show me their favorite- I buy it and give it to them. This guy- will probably never get a tip from me-anything is possible but my first impression is not a good one. I'll absolutely keep coming in. I guess I just hope that the new employees will realize that most of the regular customers spend 400-500$ a month in that business... would be cool if the new guys understood who is really paying their bills. I let him know your posted hours say 11 and even offered to show him on Apple Maps since I'm not from the area. He insisted the hours online were correct, while simultaneously telling me you close at 10:55... which makes zero sense. When I tried to show him, he got dismissive and rude like I was the problem. If your hours are wrong, fix them. If they're right, then follow them. Either way, the attitude was unacceptable, completely unprofessional, unhelpful, and just straight-up lazy customer service. Management: do better. Between the confusion and the "I don't care" attitude, this was a terrible experience.
