Initially their food was good, especially the salads and sides, but since mid February the quality of the main dishes had noticeably diminished. To be specific chicken was very overcooked, tough, and rubbery and the fish dried out. We complained and never heard back. We finally canceled the service after receiving a meatball and spaghetti dinner that was just not edible. Has we been is a restaurant it would be sent back to the kitchen. The meatballs were impossible to cut with a steak knife and too hard to chew. Spoke to owner about the earlier problem and though he was apologetic, and wanted to make it right, he never did. So this should serve as a warning to others that they don't care about delivering the services you pay for nor is the food good enough to pay for.

First, they don't require a subscription, I simply order the meals I want each week and that's what I get. Such a simple concept, yet hardly anyone does it. Second, since they're local the food is always a fresh and has good quality ingredients. Third, the website actually gives you all the nutrition information you need. I tried so many places that would leave that out and only give you calories. Being able to see how much protein is in a dish is so important to me. Also, they have different sizes and tell the nutrition of each size. Fourth, the variety of food is great, I never get bored of the meals because there are so many to choose from and they add new ones all the time. Fifth, is the support. Delivery is always on time, and I've had a broken container every once in a while, and I've gotten refunds each time as well as an offer for a replacement. 6th and final, it's tasty and affordable. The prices are what made me check them out in the first place, but the flavor is what made me stay. All of these things rolled up helped me lose 45 pounds in the last 7 months. I also got a giant bar cookie (I can't recall its name) with oatmeal and marbled with fudge and caramel. So, so very good. They also had great looking macaroons, Napoleons, linzer cookies, almond cookies, muffins, and much more. They open at 7:00 am, which is a little late for me. But maybe someday I'll stop in and get a lunch box to go. It looked like they had a great selection of sandwiches. Just Great Food bills itself as an all-occasion and corporate caterer, but they also do personal chef services, holiday dinners, and custom cakes.
