This place is incredible. The absolute best frozen dessert place I've ever had in Arizona. You order your size on an iPad and pay which I love because it speeds up the rest of the process. You either get 1 or 2 scoops in a cone or cup. I got 2 scoops in a cone for $10. The staff are super friendly and warm and if it's not busy you can try a few flavors! The place is small but clean and feels elevated and like a luxury experience. The cones are gluten free made with rice flour and so delicious. They hold together but are perfectly crunchy and not sugary or overpowering. The Argentinian churro tastes exactly like a churro. Cinnamon-y, not too sweet or artificial! The chocolate brownie is rich and dark but the brownie chunks taste like homemade gooey brownie not like candy or pre-bought pieces. I also tried the bourbon salted caramel which I would 100% get next time just to try a new flavor combo. The ice cream is SO creamy and thick and doesn't melt too quick. They also mentioned it has less sugar and fat than normal ice cream so I guess it's healthy! LOL! Allora blew me away. I'm mad it took me this long to come in. I will be returning very soon, if not this weekend. 10/10

I opted for the coconut almond crunch which was amazing! I'm a sucker for anything coconut flavored. The service was also great, everyone was super kind. The way they work is a bit unique. I didn't know that going in, and the workers asked if it was anyone's first time and kindly explained how it worked. They also let me try many flavors since I didn't know what I wanted. I will absolutely come back!

We had to place our orders on the tablets first then we waited for our name to be called out. The employee who helped us out was VERY friendly and patient. He gave us a few samples until we decided what we wanted. I ordered one scoop of the strawberry dolce - it was smooth, creamy, and the strawberry flavor was delicious. My friend ordered the brownie chocolate and it too was good and rich. Service was excellent and the gelato was great. Will be back!
First visit to Allora Gelato and it did NOT disappoint. Located in the heart of Scottsdale, this gelateria is known for authentic handcrafted gelato made fresh daily using premium, locally sourced ingredients and traditional Italian methods. While my friends were sampling different flavors, I locked eyes with the Coconut Almond Crunch: chocolate chunks, crunchy almonds, and creamy coconut blended into the perfect tropical treat... and yes, that was THE one. Rich, smooth, and full of texture, such a great first experience. Definitely coming back to try more flavors (and those homemade waffle cones!).

I've never been here before, but honestly, I never say no to gelato. It's a really small and cute gelato shop on Shea. Some of their flavors are seasonal, so unfortunately, the Mango Sticky Rice wasn't available this time. That was kind of a bummer because I really wanted to try it. The server was really nice and let us sample a few flavors before making our final decision, which I always appreciate. I ended up getting Matcha Green Tea and Dark Chocolate. The matcha was good, but the dark chocolate was my favorite, super rich, creamy, and very chocolatey. Definitely one of those desserts that makes you feel a little guilty, but totally worth it. It is a bit pricey though. One small scoop is about $7.50. But maybe that's a good thing; otherwise I'd probably be here all the time. Overall, it's a great spot for quality gelato, and I'd definitely come back, especially if that Mango Sticky Rice flavor comes back.

This is a top tier spot--the only comparable option for me is That's Amore Gelato way up North, and I can't say yet which is better. I had the pistachio and the hazelnut and orange zest, but every flavor I have sampled or had here has been insanely good, with top quality ingredients, and unique taste profiles. The staff here are some of the nicest people in the world, and I love how luxurious the atmosphere is inside the store. I will be a regular here.

Gelato is called gelato and not ice cream for a reason -- and Allora Gelato makes that clear without having to say it aloud. Their gelato has an incredibly smooth texture and perfectly balanced sweetness. We tried the mango sticky rice and chocolate brownie flavors, and surprisingly, neither was too sweet not even the chocolate brownie! I'll definitely come back to try more flavors. The shop itself is super cute, with plenty of parking and outdoor seating.

This is highest quality creamy gelato using high quality ingredients. Fresh waffle cone is must get too. If I lived in Phoenix, I would work my way through the whole menu. Staff were very nice and helpful.
Heard so many good things about this gelato shop and finally got a chance to try. I ordered the pistachio and mango sticky rice flavors and both were so tasty. Pistachio is always my go to gelato flavor. Allora made this flavor richer and nuttier compared to many shops I've been to. And mango sticky rich flavor surprised me too because you can actually tasted different layers in one scoop. The staff explained each flavor I tried, which was so helpful! Can't wait to come back to try more flavors. read more

I was in the area and heard that Allora Gelato was the best ever. I figured I better try this for myself. Quick tip. Order the size and container of your gelato at the kiosks and then you can sample and make your selections when you get to the counter. There was a long line and only one employee serving customers, but he did an excellent job working through the line and not rushing people. He actual took time to ask how my day was. The gelato itself is heavenly. I mixed the bourbon salted caramel and chocolate brownie. The texture was smooth and the flavor transcendent. I'm in Scottsdale for a few more days and I'm sure multiple stops will be on the agenda. read more

From the moment we entered the gelato shop to leaving, we were treated so well. We got acknowledged when we walked in and the workers gave us a run down of how the shop operates. We were able to taste all the flavors we wanted. The workers were so friendly and patient as we had never been there. I had the hardest time deciding on flavors but ended up getting strawberry dolce. My husband got the coconut almond crunch. I loved them both but give a slight nod to the coconut. read more

Delicious gelato! First time in and it was a great experience. As you walk in, you place your order at the self service kiosk (2 tablets) and then walk over to the gelato area. You can sample the different flavors but when busy they do ask to keep it to a total of 3 sample requests to help with line (understandable). I went with the Mexican Coffee and Chocolate Brownie on their delicious gluten-free waffle cone. Seriously the cone itself is good, and why my friend recommended this place. Of course even better with the gelato. If you're looking for a non dairy option, I recommend the Dark Chocolate. It's a sorbet, but doesn't look or taste like your typical sorbet. Great flavor and the texture is creamy enough that it seems like a regular gelato scoop. Great service from Ciara and Lalo. Will definitely stop by again. Keep in mind, there is limited seating outside, but still a spot you don't wanna miss. Give it a try! read more
Allora Gelato was an interesting experience. The wait was long and ordering was confusing. I appreciate the authenticity of the gelato but the gelato itself lacked flavor. It was almost sour and make me fearful it was spoiled. It's a very cute spot and definitely has an authentic feel, so I would be curious to go back. read more
One of the best gelato spots I've found in the States! I just spent a few weeks eating gelato all over Italy, and Allora holds its own with the best places there - or maybe even better because of the unique flavors. We tried Mango Sticky Rice, Mexican Coffee, Greek Yogurt, and Lemon Zest and loved every one. Delicate and not too sweet, with just the right texture. The staff were super friendly and informative. Such a cute gelato shop! They have some vegan options which is perfect for the person in our party with the dairy allergy. Ordering was very easy. You pick what scoops and bowl/waffle cone options you want and pay on the 2 iPads right inside the door, then you go to the counter, taste the flavors and pick the flavor you want for your order. The flavors we tested were amazing and we went with mango sticky rice and passionfruit (dairy free). The mango sticky rice did have a hint of the sticky rice part but was mostly mango. Nevertheless it was still delicious! The texture was so smooth too. Definitely recommend this flavor. The passionfruit was delicious as well with more of a sorbet texture. Very flavorful and very tasty! The people that were working tonight were incredibly kind and helpful too! Wonderful to talk to! I prefer lighter flavors and this gelato spot hit those with the passion fruit and hazelnut. Prices are decent, $7 for one scoop but $9 for two. Ordered dark chocolate, lemon zest, figs, and pistachio, my favorite is pistachio, so creamy and nutty, there are also pistachios inside, added some crunchy texture. The lemon zest is very refreshing, great choice for summer. All flavors are not too sweet, their August special flavor is mango sticky rice. Staff are so friendly that let us try different flavors before deciding which one to choose. read more

This place was crowded at 7:20-7:30 on a Friday night in the July summer! My dad and I walked in and there were two parties ahead of us... we order on the iPad (two iPads, you order then they have your name to know what you ordered, pretty smart! No cash). And we turn around and there's five more parties behind us... and they just kept on coming! It's a small store with all seating outside (and outside it's limited seating) so it was a lot. There were two team members serving the ice cream - I think one is the owner - it takes a good few minutes per person to get the order served, which is nice because you get to try the flavors and don't feel rushed and the owner expertly put my ice cream in my ice cream cone - but it just means if there's a line then you're going to wait for a while. We tried the salted bourbon caramel and strawberry dolce - both delicious. I got the strawberry (seasonal) and ricotta and fig (always there) with a gf cone and my dad got the strawberry and pistachio on a gf cone. He thought the pistachio was almost too salty!! This is maybe the only place with fresh gluten free cones so that's SO NICE!! It was so good. We didn't get the wafer because it's not gluten free / some can tolerate but we played it safe. It was $10 per person for two scoops and a cone, which is expensive. But it's very high quality so once in a while won't break the bank. The store smells so good with the waffle cones going. This is the best gelato I've had IN MY LIFE. I'm not even kidding. I've been all around Italy and the flavors here are so strong and tasty. I ordered the hazelnut and orange and the Mexican coffee. The hazelnut and orange was super good, and the Mexican coffee had cinnamon in it which was unique. They have a ton of amazing flavors and let you sample them. I also loved the waffle cone it came in - the texture and flavor was amazing. I didn't realize waffle cones could taste that good! The staff was friendly and were very attentive to the presentation of the gelato and overall service. I'll definitely be coming back here! There is a parking lot and outdoor seating. read more

There are a lot of places to go for gelato in the valley, but this is one of the best. When you walk in, you pay for your order on the touch screen, then get in line to choose the flavors. They have little cards with all of the flavors on them, or the flavors are also displayed on the wall. The flavors are all very interesting / it was hard to choose! The gelato was creamy. It is expensive for a little cup full, but it is definitely worth a try. The store itself is very tiny and can be really loud and cramped if it is busy. read more
Finally had a chance to try Allora gelato and it was delicious! It is tucked away in a plaza with plenty of parking. The staff was really friendly and welcoming and allowed us to try a few flavors. I got the chocolate brownie and it was so good!! The perfect level of rich chocolate with brownie pieces. They rotate a new flavor about every month and there's vegan options that are water based instead of dairy. The portions are generous and there's a cute little courtyard outside with some seating, if the weather is nice. read more

I love gelato! I met some friends here on a late Sunday afternoon and there were a few folks in line. It's a small but inviting shop and the staff were handing out stickers to the kiddos, very sweet. There are two iPads for ordering near the entrance which I hadn't seen before at a dessert shop. I thought I had to choose which flavors I wanted, but you just choose the menu item you want (1-2 scoops, cup vs cone, etc). Then, when it's your turn in line, you can sample up to 3 flavors to see what you want. I tried the mesquite honey chamomile, lemon lavender sorbet, and lemon basil. The mesquite honey was just okay for me, the lemon lavender was delicious, and the lemon basil was tame compared to its lemon sister. A light hint of basil and creamier than the sorbet. I knew I was going to get the vegan dark chocolate and I chose the lemon lavender sorbet to accompany it. It was a lovely combo: the light, refreshing flavors of the sorbet next to the rich, creamy dark chocolate. The lavender flavor was on the strong side but I liked it. I got these scoops in a cone and a little wafer, which I used to sample my friend's flavors, and the cone was tasty and gluten-free btw. I just happened to get the two vegan flavors and I really enjoyed them; in fact, I prefer them at gelato shops. What a great authentic gelato spot! It's a little hidden but worth the find. When you walk in, head straight to the iPad kiosks to pay first by selecting your serving size and preferred method (cone or cup). Don't worry about choosing your flavor yet, they have handy menu cards with all the descriptions, so you can browse before you get to the counter. When it's your turn, you can try up to 3 flavors before making your final decision. Just let them know what you paid for and what flavor you want. They have some truly unique flavors. I'm a classic strawberry lover - so strawberry dolce was an easy choice. It did not disappoint. My husband and mom went with the chocolate brownie, which they loved - especially the little brownie chunks. My dad was a big fan of the bourbon salted caramel. The staff was incredibly friendly and the shop was very aesthetic. There's also a decent sized patio area where you can sit and enjoy your sweet treat. Would definitely go back and try more flavors! read more
