She died 89 days after being diagnosed. I went here when mom was first diagnosed due to concerns. I was breaking out in hives and also I wanted to be checked for cancerous spots since I learned that having a parent with melanoma increases your own chances. I was told after I made an appointment, they'd have to cancel it because the person wasn't available. I asked if there was someone else because I felt like this was an emergency, and they said no. I went online to see if this was true and it was not. I booked another person there online and was seen. This rubbed me the wrong way instantly. The person seemed inept. They were more concerned about hives, which I had told her that I'd been to people before and this has happened since I was a kid. They've ran multiple tests and couldn't find a source. I was more concerned with cancer!! She didn't check me for spots. Actually she sent another girl in to do biopsies on my hives. These biopsies NEVER healed properly. They scared. I posted pictures on here from FIVE MONTHS after the biopsies. I don't believe they will ever fade. Even when I came back to get the stitches out, they did not check me for skin cancers. I left confused and angry. I'll never go back. I went because I was familiar with the place because I'd taken my son there for acne. They charge a ridiculous amount. I don't trust their billing. They are still trying to charge me like $500 for these two biopsies when I have PEIA insurance. In rhe meantime, I'm dealing with the death of my mom from the cancer I was scared of.

When I came across Rosemarie I was impressed that she had her own spa as a licensed esthetician and her portfolio pictures showed women with a "no makeup" classy look. I booked her to do my makeup on my wedding day and the day after since we were getting pictures on both days. She replicated the look on both days perfectly. The look she created for me was perfect and looked amazing in person and in pictures. I highly recommend her!

When I woke from general anesthesia, which I should never had due to a medication I was on, only 2 teeth had been removed. No explanation, did not see the doctor either before or after the procedure and I was promptly ushered out the back door to my ride. My vein blew when an IV was attempted resulting in a very large bruise all down my arm with a second attempt being made in the same arm. I called a couple days later to try to get an explanation and was told that there was confusion over one of the teeth to be removed being part of a bridge. I have NO bridges in my mouth! My dentist even confirmed it with Mt. State. They charged me for x rays and seeing the surgeon in October which I did not see him. That money was refunded as payment must be made BEFORE they touch you. Fast forward to present day. A different doctor at Mt. State was requested by my regular dentist as I wasn't comfortable going back to the original doctor. I was x rayed again for the 4th time in a little over a year. I was taken back to a room and was scheduled for the extraction of 1 tooth. The nurse ask me if I was there for 3 extractions? After being left in the room for almost an hour, a different person came in and said they weren't going to extract the tooth in question until my dentist removed the existing crown on it. This was the first I had heard of this and the appointment was made in January. They knew they were not going to remove it and said nothing to me nor was my dentist contacted. Again never spoke with a doctor! As a result of these two experiences at Mt. State I have no confidence in them and am shocked at how I was treated. Needless to say I will be with a new oral surgeon in the near future.

I scheduled a last-minute massage after dealing with a severe knot in my neck that was causing headaches. I was genuinely looking forward to this appointment more than any massage I've ever booked. I even excitedly arrived 15 minutes early and proceeded to show the front desk my confirmation text to check in. Unfortunately, they could not locate my appointment in their system and had no idea why. I was told there must have been a double booking because another client had also scheduled the same time slot. I received a brief apology and was simply sent on my way. To drive there, show a confirmed appointment, and still be turned away with no solution or compensation was extremely disappointing. The error was theirs, yet nothing was offered -- not a discount, not a reschedule priority, not even a small gesture like a gift card. I feel like good customer service isn't about being perfect -- it's about how a business handles a mistake. In this case, they did nothing, and that's why I won't be returning.
