The meat portion of the plates looked like it is on the smaller side, but for under $20, it is a good deal. Plus, the side portions are hearty so overall the dishes were actually quite filling. All tasted great! Plus our food came out super fast, in less than 10 min! food ordered: - salmon plate: the salmon slice was smaller than we expected but we thought it was fair for under $20. - steak plate: again, the meat portion seemed small, but fair for the price. it came with 4 thinner strips - sides ordered: sweet potatoes, potato wedges, mashed potatoes, tomato and mozzarella caprese, mushrooms. would recommend any of the potato options and the caprese! - pepperoni flatbread: as you would expect, a pizza-like dish. we got this for my little brother who is a picky eater and he enjoyed it. - split pea soup (soup of the day): the soup texture seemed more watery than we expected. it did taste like peas, but we were overall neutral about this soup. - blueberry mint lemonade: SUPER tart and sweet, did not get much mint flavor. - mango black tea: unsweetened but you can still taste the mango flavor. read more

The Wagyu Cheeseburger is is some of the very best tasting beef I have ever had. The optional substitution Caesar salad was fresh, crisp and tasty, too. Good value for the price. I heard this place was outstanding, healthy, and so worth it so I had to try it out! I decided to order a Thai salad with grilled chicken and ordered a Cherry-flavored Green Tea. The salad had noodles on the plate as well which made it more satisfying to eat. Just about a 10 minute detour off the 8 and you'll be here! It's absolutely worth the stop for a fresh, organic and healthy lunch! 10 of us are in our group and we were all well fed and happy with our choices! The kids meals are very reasonably priced and big! The fruit was fresh! I loved my spicy Asian salad! It was so fresh and delicious! The chimichurri steak sandwich was incredible! My husband loved it. The steak was well cooked and the sandwich was so flavorful. The tomato basil soup was so yummy! The ahi blt sandwich was also a hit. This was a real winner! Thick crisp bacon paired with a decent sized ahi piece that was perfectly seared. The garlic aioli dressing and toasted bun made for delicious bites. My wife got the free range chicken sandwich and one daughter got the California Turkey sandwich. My wife liked hers though my daughter still has half leftover two days after our visit so maybe not a good sign. All sandwiches came with house made chips. I found these just okay like they were a little bland or stale maybe from sitting. Not a deal breaker but I wonder what they would have been fresh out of the fryer? Another daughter got their Caesar salad. She mentioned it had fresh crisp lettuce and the toasted giant crouton was good. The brussel sprouts were really good tasting but a bit drowned in the sauce. For dessert an employee recommended the crème brûlée cheesecake. It was not my favorite cheesecake. As a crème brûlée I was hoping more crunch from the caramelized sugar top. The texture wasn't...rich enough? Idk. To me Junior's Cheesecake is the gold standard. Every single thing we ordered was bland. We ordered the burger, chips, mac&cheese, 3 different desserts, and the Caesar salad with steak. Not a single thing was seasoned. Took one bite of each dessert and threw it away, tasted processed and mass produced. At the burger because I was hungry but threw all the chips away. We ate about 1/2 the Caesar and tossed that too. We're saving the mac&cheese in hopes we can add something to it as leftovers but honestly I'm not holding out hope. I have been here before about a year and a half ago and had a better experience. This is one of my favorite lunch spots in East County. I work in the area and have had this catered once to our office. Since then, I have always wanted to stop by for lunch. Since we usually have lunch at the office, on the off day that we did not, I suggested we go here! Crafted greens is a cafeteria style place where you can pick your protein and sides to go along with your meal. Their steak is absolutely amazing and I paired it with their Mac and cheese and roasted vegetables. I have never had a better side of roasted sweet potatoes than here at crafted greens. I have been going here for a few years now and it's one of the most consistent restaurants I've ever been to. The inside has modern decor and its always very clean. You can either sit inside or outside on the patio. I always prefer outside as the overhang provides shade and there is always a nice breeze coming through. The owners and employees here are top notch. Always smiling and greeting everyone who walks in and leaves after enjoying their meal. Always going above and beyond to make sure your dining experience is great. I can honestly say that I have enjoyed every meal I've eaten here. All of them have great taste and are cooked to order. The quality of the ingredients is right up there with the likes of high end restaurants. If it's your first time coming, I would highly recommend the chicken club! Amazing taste and very filling. The service was great! Everyone was super nice and attentive. The food needs help. Right now my husband and I both have upset stomachs unfortunately.... Pretty sure it was the mushrooms which were served semi heated up (some were cold and some warm) , not fresh and possibly sitting there all day. We were given a refund for those. Again, the staff was great and apologized. The Tabbouleh was great. Chicken was dry, potatoes were ok but need salt. Steak was good flavor but obviously reheated and not medium rare as ordered. Mac n cheese also lacked salt and flavor. Overall the food was not enjoyable and we wont be eating here again. Total bummer because I saw what great reviews they have and loved all the healthy options. The sides are stars too, from the caprese salad to the Tuscan mushrooms.
