They had run out of the beef ribs before we got there, would have liked to try those. No brisket here, but the Tri tip was more to our liking, leaner cuts of meat. You can smell the meat from outside as soon as you enter the parking lot. Came on a weekday with a large group for lunch. Lots of open tables. Friendly service. Ordered a variety of foods to share. Got the sampler platter, salad, ribs and tried 3 desserts. Portions are large and definitely enough for 2 people to share. Meats were tender and flavorful. The best meat was the tri tip and chicken which was smoky. You could add the type of bbq sauce you like which you can get from their sauce bar. They make all their desserts in house. Amazing first time experience!! We came out to celebrate my brother from another mother for his birthday, with some yummy BBQ. We are so happy we found this restaurant via suggested places on Yelp. Well we found this place on Yelp when we looking for a place to take my wife's BFF to celebrate his birthday. We were very happy and didn't know what to try at first. We ordered the bbq sampler that came with pork which was watery and a weird texture zero smoked flavor tri tip the was the best meat on the plate but salty and again no real smoked flavor and the chicken looked great but lacked flavor . I only came here one time on Valentine's Day but it was excellent. Went on a date to a comedy show at the Magnolia so we found this place online that had good happy hour deals. You order at the counter which I like and the staff were very friendly and checked on us throughout the meal as well. We each got a beer and they have one of my favorite stouts you don't see everywhere which I appreciated. We shared the wings and sliders and got stuffed. The sliders were so good and they have self serve sauce which was convenient. They also have a washing station next to it which was super helpful! The wings were crispy and moist. Great ranch too! I felt like the young women working there were maybe a little overwhelmed (they were great but maybe not set up for success) as they worked the cash register and brought out food (it's a pay up front place..... a very pricey one). 3.5/5 for me - we had the beef ribs and a couple of sides. I ain't ever been to a bbq place where I liked their sides more than their actual bbq but this place surprised me. The beef ribs were lacking, there was not enough meat on our ribs that it felt almost like highway robbery that we paid $38 for it. We got their fries, onion rings and their elote side. All super solid - can't go wrong with that. The rest of my party got pulled pork sandwiches and such.. they seemed to have enjoyed it. Maybe I should've opted for that instead but I wanted brisket or burnt ends (which is not on the menu) read more
