This is the tiny 1 1/2 inch by 1 1/2 inch steakette I was served

I'm an older struggling veteran and I truly appreciate the small meal that the owners of TEXAS ROADHOUSE give to veterans each year. The steak this year was approximately 2" x 2" or maybe even 1 1/2" X 1 1/2". In the past the restaurant manager Reginald/Reggie was really great at customer service and respect. However that was NOT my experience with the new restaurant manager Jacqueline. Much love and respect to the owners and executives of TEXAS ROADHOUSE.

Came here right as they opened on a weekday for the lunch specials they have. The waitress who helped us was great, very proactive and helpful. The food was really good and came out quickly. I love the atmosphere of this place. I made sure to grab a bag of peanuts before I left!

Haven't been to a Texas Roadhouse in YEARS. I had to return something at the mall next door so planned to go here while in the area. Saturday afternoons are PACKED with family's. The wait outside and in was crazy. Luckily, it was only my husband and I able to find seats at the bar. I forget how oversized everything is here. Strawberry lemonade was massive but so good. I ordered the shrimp with mashed potatoes, veggies. So good, so filling! The sweet woman at the bar was super attentive and friendly. It was a bit drive away but we will probably be coming back now that we know this is the closest to us.

I've been here a few times and love it. Service has been great and food always as expected. I just love the fun vibes and the comfort food at Texas Roadhouse. Steaks were always cooked how I like it, the loaded baked potato always hits the spot and their amazing rolls! 10/10, always want to come back again.

Been here twice! First time got the Country Fried Steak dish which was a lil too salty in my opinion. I remember wanting to like that, and as of this recent trip: ordered the Fillet Medallion (medium-style). Everything worked well with the steak and the seasoned rice, as well as the mashed potatoes and gravy they provided; Can't go wrong with their complementary bread rolls with butter either. I usually find myself coming to Texas Roadhouse with a group of friends, but aside from that it's a little out of the way for me.

Visited earlier today, ordered the ribeye (medium) with bbq ribs and loaded potatoes with chili. The food was amazing- like all of it especially with the price point. Steak was cooked perfectly. Service was great and I enjoyed every bit of it. Im coming back in the future no doubt and highly recommend this establishment. Don't forget the bread with the apple butter. That was immaculate too.

The online waitlist helps soooo much so that we dont have to wait at the restaurant for over an hour as the wait could become that long for Texas Roadhouse. We recieved a text message when they were ready for us to check in at the front and from there they put you on a number and you wait for your hostess to see you to your table with your first basket of bread and cinnamon butter. The bread and cinnamon butter are unlimited and they are so addicting. The wait staff at this location are always super nice. And while waiting I always enjoy looking around at the cowboy in Texas themed lights and artwork. My favorite sides is usually the chili and the butter corn. The steak has been a mix so far. I usually order a medium rare and last time it was a little bit overcooked cell but this time they did the medium rare perfectly. I also tried the country Fried steak which was delicious but I will warn that it's a little bit on the too salty side so I was only able to eat half. I don't know if this is a consistent flavoring or just this one time. The chili is delicious and the reason why I made the comment about the salt for the country fried steak is because one time the chili was a bit on the salty side but this time was perfect. I also want to highlight how genuinely the staff wants to make your experience good at the restaurant. This last visit they didn't have a certain cut of steak but he was ready to offer other options. We were disappointed but really appreciated the effort. I can't wait to come again

I visited the Texas Roadhouse in El Cajon, California with my family over the weekend, and we had a truly wonderful time. If you are seeking great service, delicious food, and a lively, welcoming atmosphere, this place absolutely delivers. The ambiance is really pleasant, and it does feel like a little slice of a country restaurant or country club you might find back in Texas somewhere. They offer a big variety on the menu (Texas Size) plenty of drinks, appetizers, entrées, and desserts. Now, you know their homemade rolls they bring to the table are incredible! I actually managed to maintain my temptation and only have two rolls since I did not want to feel so full I could not eat my entree. I ordered the steak medallions, which came on a skewer with vegetables and a medley of rice which was absolutely delicious. My family members tried various steak and chicken dishes, and everyone was happy with their meals. The service was fantastic. Our waitress, Sydney, was friendly and professional. She kept our drinks refilled without us having to ask and made sure we had everything we needed. After the meal, she asked if we wanted dessert, and we decided to share one, which was a nice touch. One of the most special parts is that when someone has a birthday, the staff does a little dance at the table with their cute cowboy hats and boots . It really adds to the fun, festive, and country-style atmosphere and makes you feel like you're in a cozy spot somewhere deep in Texas. Overall, if you want excellent food, a great variety, and a lively, welcoming vibe, Texas Roadhouse is the place to be. Yeehaw!"

Oh ya! Definitely a great chain option. Join the waitlist online before arriving for a smooth expense. Visited on a Sunday afternoon and things weren't too crowded at first. Service was super attentive and personable. Food came out fresh with massive portions. Enjoyed the chicken and ribs combo. All the sauces and sides were outstanding. Classic Texas vibes inside in terms of music and decor.

My daughter treated me to an early dinner. This is her first time here. I had been to Texas Road house before but in the East Coast. When we arrived, it was quite busy but got seated quickly and ordered our food. Our waiter was Ballerina, she is the sweetest!!! She's very nice, attentive and has great customer service etiquette. They have early diner specials! It is from Monday through Thursday 3pm to 5pm, Friday 11am to 5pm. $14.99 for selected entree with two sides. They also have a special on Wild West Wednesdays $17.99 for 8oz sirloin steak with two sides. We ended up getting the $14.99 deal. We choose the 6oz sirloin steak (medium) with two sides. We had the mash potatoes and green beans. They were soooo good! Great flavor and came out piping hot! The steak was cooked perfectly. We also had unsweetened tea and water; their water was so refreshing. It does not taste like tap water lol. I like that they chilled their glasses, definitely helps on a hot day! Ballerina gave us some rolls and peanuts to go. She's so precious. Plenty of parking, located in the same lot as Parkway Plaza, Aldi and Bestbuy. Lots of tables and seats. Family friendly restaurant. Clean, neat and tidy restaurant. Overall, great experience for my daughter's first time at Texas Road house and we will definitely come back.

service is always really good here and the vibes are nice! it was nice and cool in the restaurant. i got a ribeye and was kind of shocked on how thin the cut was. i ordered medium rare and my steak barely had any pink in it which was really sad :(

I have not been to Texas Roadhouse in a very long time. We decided to come here for an early dinner, a really early dinner. We beat the dinner rush by coming early but by the time we were ready to leave, around 6 it was pretty busy. Place was clean. We sat at the bar and to my surprise they had early dinner specials. Yay! We had the chicken Cesar's salad, fries and the steak with sweet potato. Drinks were good. It was pretty good but could have used a bit more dressing. The warm bread with the cinnamon butter is a MUST!!!! I had way too many! So yummy!!!!! Service was great. Bartender was attentive and super sweet. Wish I would have gotten her name.

Is the roadhouse open on Xmas day?

    Is there social dancing?

There's a bar and line dancing from the servers but no dance floor.

So I just join the waitlist an hour prior or? Because I see anything about reserving a table on the app

They only have the waitlist. If it's 30 minute wait you need to be there within that 30 minutes and reply back to text to confirm you have arrived then they will again text you when your table is ready. Usually dinner is hour or two wait so I get…

    Can I reserve a table?

You cannot reserve a table but you can put yourself on a waitlist and it'll tell you when your name will be called. It's online and very convenient. Just check like an hour before you want to eat and put your name on the waitlist.

Is there a limit to the amount of people that can sit at one table?

They have booths that normally seat 4 & for larger parties they normally would put tables together. Now I think they have to space them 6 feet apart, so things have changed a bit. I would call.

Now that dine in is back open do they still allow you to sit on the saddle if celebrating a birthday?

Yes they do!! Plenty of birthdays while I've been dining in 😊

Eddie, our server was friendly, with just the right amount of humor and very attentive. He described dishes and offered a hot sauce that was HOT! The Shrimp Bourbon Street was tasty, lots 'o shrimp, yummy dipping sauce, a perfect combo with Seafood Gumbo, to finish off my meal. The Seafood Bisque-appetizer and the Shrimp and Grits meal seemed to satisfy my husband. Our friends ordered Crawfish Etouffee and the Cajun Jambalaya, which were a hit. We commented that there might be some take-home, but it was not to be, the food was consumed on the premises. Our finishing touch of Beignets covered in the powdered sugar and coulis sauce was the perfect finale to our very enjoyable meal. We ate in the dining room, which was busy, but not noisy, and as mentioned , the service was excellent (Eddie) , and patio seating is available. They seemed to have a ton of options for my family who didn't specifically get seafood boils so we went ahead for Mothers Day. When we got there the service was okay, our waitress didn't really check on us much at all besides putting a bunch of lemon slices on our table but no major complaints. We did start off with drinks and some of us got the wrong ones but no biggie because it's busier on a holiday. What I had a problem with was the food itself. I asked for the combo #2 because I thought it was 1lb of snow crab leg like I get every single time, I got it "pub style" which is supposed to be all seasonings like garlic butter Cajun lemon pepper in one. They asked me if I wanted shrimp, sausage or craw fish as my second and I told her I didn't want any of that and just wanted ALL crab legs. I don't know if she fully understood because when I got my boil I could tell it was noticibly smaller. There wasn't 1lb by any means, and looking back I wish I could've said something. I think they just took the amount of crab they got me and cut it in half instead of substituting and adding more. I wouldn't mind if it's extra money, I just want the crab so oh well. The sauce was the second worst thing ever. It did not taste anything like other places, but way worse. All I could taste was a watery spicy Cajun, and even on mild how I got it it was pretty spicy. It lacked any real flavor so on that alone I'd never go back. I usually always get a Cajun garlic butter and it's seasoned to the Gods but still light and potent. This was just not good, and didn't even feel buttery but more a watery oil. We did also get the garlic noodles and they were good. I make garlic noodles at home AMAZING though, so these were average and nothing to write home about since other places can still do them just as good, if not better. A place in SD that had ones even better was called Crab City and their boil tasted great. I would recommend that place instead of this. The reviews and menu pictures had me with much higher expectations and I was super let down. Forgot to mention, my husbands shrimp po boy, he said the shrimp tasted off and fishy like not fresh which made him only eat half and never go back for the leftovers. There was a super sweet sauce on it as well that tasted random to me when I took a bite so I would stay away from that as well. I also had to pay extra for my potato's that normally come with your boil at every other place. They usually come with potatoes and corn but this place came with nothing and you even needed to pay extra for potatoes but they were bigger and different then usual with no salt or anything so they were not worth getting at all, nor finished by me.

The fried shrimp had great flavor and seasoning on the breading. I personally would've liked them fried just a little harder for a bit more crisp, but they were still very tasty and fresh. It would also be great if they offered an option to heat the cobbler, which would take it to another level. Interior is cute , screams New Orleans.
