Jonette was our cashier the day my friend and I had come in for lunch. She was friendly and informative regarding our menu options without being biased. We settled on a chicken caprese sandwich to share and house made chips. The sandwich was on a fresh roll with mozzarella cheese and tomatoes with a balsamic dressing, very fresh and flavorful. We also had a snickerdoodle cookie, very yummy! The restaurant is situated in a small strip mall and has limited seating. Late Post: 10-27-24/10-28-24 This was my first time coming here. It was a little intimidating but not hard to understand. You can either choose one of their salads or a plate with either hot or chilled sides and a choice of protein and they also have sandwiches and soups too. This restaurant can be located in the Harvest Ranch Market shopping center. This shopping area has a pretty big parking lot so you shouldn't have a hard time finding parking. They have a few tables inside and outside. My friend ordered the mediterranean chop chop salad with their grilled steak. I tried some of it and loved the steak. The salad was also not overly dressed. I ordered the beet and goat cheese salad with the grilled chicken. The chicken was not dry and had a lot of good flavor. I LOVED my salad! The beets went so well with the goat cheese and the chicken was seasoned perfectly. My fave was the steak though. The salads came with a slice of grilled focacia bread. I have two dates on here because I enjoyed it so much, I ordered again through Postmates the next day. For the delivery, I ordered the beet and goat cheese salad with steak and the steak plate with mushrooms and brussel sprouts. The hot sides were sooo good. 4.5, almost a 5 for us! We decided to expand our wings and further explore El Cajon beyond downtown Main Street and I'm glad we did! This place was bustling at 7:30. Indoor and outdoor seating options. While a little noisy inside for seniors it's a better option than outside in the heat! High energy snd attentive staff. Good music. We were surprised at how great mom's Thai salad was. Almost enough for two making it a great value! She happily took some home! Were there to be any comment it would be that the bread could be fresher and, because it's mom, she would prefer more veggies! In a highly unusual move, dad ate his entire steak sandwich. This is a high compliment!! And because it's dad, he would have liked Mayo on it as it was a bit dry but didn't want me to ask for it! I'm thrilled he devoured it! As for me, I indulged with a cheeseburger. I consider it an upper class burger with real meat! The chips were great - hard chips. Think they may be homemade? My only ask would be to have an option thee as t has salt or flavor to make them even more yummy. The dessert looked sooooo good but we were full - good reason to come back! Stumbled upon this place after a golf round in the area. We never really come down here and we are so happy that found this restaurant! The service was fantastic! I would recommend the scrumptious buffalo chicken Caesar wrap and the steak plate with Brussel sprouts (they were so yummy with the balsamic!). My boyfriend has an aversion to Brussel sprouts but he ate all of them up today- and that says a lot! Wow, I'm impressed. I called in an order for the double cheeseburger and a chicken plate and the woman who took my order was very friendly and said my order would be ready in 15 minutes. I turned in to the parking lot in exactly 15 minutes of placing my order and what chaos of cars looking for parking spots. I somehow got lucky from all the cars circling around to find parking that I nabbed the 15 minute spot right in front of Crafted Greens. Walked in and the staff were friendly and prompt. They seem to be very busy but still only took 1 minutes to pay and be on my way. Got home and took a bite of my cheeseburger and wow. Delicious!It was juicy and cooked perfect. The homemade chips were crunchy and perfectly salted.I ate every single bite of the burger and chips because it was so good. My husband and I arrived just before 6pm on a Saturday, this is our first time dining at Crafted Greens. The restaurant is located in a strip mall, deep into East El Cajon - it is in the same mall as Harvest Market. Ample parking available. We were greeted with smiles and a warm "welcome" upon entering. Inside, the restaurant is very clean and bright. The restaurant is quite narrow and small, single row of tables on your left and food counter on your right. Table seating runs the length of the restaurant, it shares the same space with the ordering counter and live kitchen (quite crowded and busy space). This is not a restaurant for quiet intimate conversation (get to know your dining neighbors). You will be placing your own order at a counter, and then the food will be deliverd to your table. There were several diners eating inside and a few outside, in a covered area, just in front of the restaurant, (which extends past the public sidewalk). There was a steady stream of patrons during our dinner, (dine-in, as well as, pick up). I ordered the Asian Salad and my protein option was chicken. My husband ordered the Cajun Seared Ahi Tuna Plate, and chose the sides of Roasted Balsamic Brussels Sprouts, and Seasonal Vegetables. A slice of grilled foccacia bread accompanied both our meals. We also ordered a small Cherry Green tea and a large Mango Black tea. My salad greens were very fresh and lightly dressed with a yummy Asian dressing, all tossed with sliced toasted almonds and topped with fried wonton strips. The grilled chicken was tender and presented sliced on the side. It was a perfect portion size for me, I would rate my salad a 5. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his Ahi meal. The Ahi was served very rare, as it should be, and had a nice Cajun "kick" to it. The balsamic Brussels sprouts were absolutely delicious and we would order them again! The Seasonal vegetables today were lightly sauteed fresh green beans and carrots, nothing extraordinary. My husband rated his meal a 4, taking a point off for the green beans not being tender (left the fibrous string attached). Neither of us cared for the Foccacia bread - flavorless and tough/dry. We both loved our unsweetened teas. We did not order a dessert, though they looked delicious through the glass case - maybe next time. Total bill with tip was approximately $57.00. We will be coming here again, but probably only for take out or dining outside when it is a bit cooler. read more

A healthy indulgence! This is a cute and trendy spot, with a variety of tasty sandwiches and salads. I left with a satisfied tummy, but also felt good about my healthy choices. I was very impressed by the customer service. I went during the lunch rush, however one staff member in particular opened up a new register to ensure the line kept moving, and regularly checked in on me, even though it is an order at the counter kind of place. He even offered to refill my drink (and it is a self service soda fountain). The only unfortunate thing is how far I live, however when I make the trek to east county, I have a new favorite restaurant! read more

This was a very nice spot with delicious menu items, everything seems fresh and on the healthier side for an eating our spot which is always nice We ordered two plates which comes with a protein and two sides, the chicken and steak were both delicious and my steak was cooked to medium well. I did ask for medium but I still enjoyed it, the sweet potatoes were a little underdone but the Brussels sprouts had no complaints, sooo good! They have plenty of seating inside and out and the place is in a shopping area with plenty of surrounding places, the parking lot was full when we came in but I imagine there is more space during an earlier time, would come by again to try the salad as they sounded so good! read more

My friends and I decided to check this place out for lunch on a weekday. It was busy but there was enough seating inside and outside on their front patio for everyone. You order at the counter and they bring the food out to you. The owner (or manager) saw us looking a bit lost at their menu and came right over to help. Everything looks so good so it was hard to decide. He was awesome and gave us a quick walk thru their menu with his favorites. The food order came to the table pretty quickly after we ordered. We opted to sit outside since it wasn't as noisy and to enjoy the beautiful weather. The owner came by with a complimentary plate of their cilantro hummus, tabbouleh, a roasted beets side, and their house potato chips. We each ordered different salads with added protein (seared Ahi, Tuscan salmon, and Grass feed steaks). Their iced tea, carrot orange juice refreshers, and giant cookies were good too. Everything was delicious! One of our orders had an issue and it was taken care of promptly. We are checked on often for refills. We will definitely come back! Especially after seeing the delicious looking wagu burgers being dropped off at the table next to ours. Lol! We will have to try that next time. read more

Overall, I thought it was good, but not overly exceptional when I'm thinking yelps top list. You order at the counter and they'll bring your food to your table. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. It is located in a little strip mall so no issues with parking. They have salads, plates, and sandwiches. I ordered the autumn pear salad and added salmon to it. The salad was very good; I liked that it was lightly dressed and all the ingredients were already tossed. The salmon was cooked perfectly. Everything tasted fresh. It also came with a side of foccacia, but I didn't love it. My husband got the grilled chicken club that came with house made chips. They also have a nice dessert selection so we split a snickerdoodle cookie and it was soft and delicious. Food came out relatively quick. Poor rating is strictly for price alone. I've been buying family size tabbouleh here for years (along with the rest of my food orders). It's a hefty $20 for that alone. Just recently the price went up to $24.99 and seems like they're giving smaller portion. And in less than 6 months the price a has jumped a second time to $30. Wild. This is my favorite go to restaurant for fresh organic salads and they have good portion sized plates with your choice of grass fed protein steak or chicken or salmon or tuna with your 2 sides of choice. I appreciate the sanitary restaurant. Every time I go to the restaurant there's always somebody sanitizing the table and chairs before we sit down which is greatly appreciated. When you are served your meal, someone comes around and cracks fresh black pepper on your plate as an option. Very fancy Lol and the servers always check to make sure you have everything needed to be comfortable and satisfied.
