I got the carrot orange ginger juice and it was fine, a little watered down for my personal preferences but I know to ask for less ice next time. For first timers like me, you order, grab a number and sit down. Staff bring you your food and even refilled our water. You can leave your dishes on the table and they clean it up after. Wow what a great experience. We came here for lunch as a family of four with two kids. The portions were large, fresh food, great quality and healthy. Came here on a Saturday at open. There were a lot of employees inside and all seemed to be friendly and helpful. I decided to get the steak plate (medium rare) with mashed potatoes and balsamic Brussels sprouts and a bowl of tomato basil soup. My boyfriend got the spicy Asian salad with steak, his cousin got the chimichurri steak sandwich, and his sister got the chicken plate with mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. Really big portions! Great deal for the price. The steak was really tender and yummy. The mashed potatoes were super creamy and the Brussels sprouts were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and sweet and savory all around. The soup was alright, not very strong tomato flavor but good enough. I wouldn't get it again but their soup of the day sounded good. We sat outside and were checked on occasionally even though you sit yourself. This is a great spot for a quick, healthy-ish, and easy lunch! Went to crafted greens today for in order to go. Got the turkey sandwich and a double cheeseburger. The girl that took the order seemed to be having a little bit of a bad day. She wasn't rude or anything, but she wasn't as pleasant as most of the people in this restaurant normally are nonetheless Servis was very good. The food is excellent and the ambience is that of a small restaurant. The girl that brought our food to us when it was ready was very upbeat very pleasant and a very sweet girl. We got the food home. It was still hot. It was excellent tasting. The chips are always fresh crispy my cheeseburger like I said was very hot still. My wife's turkey sandwich was fresh and we loved both our meals. Were there to be any comment it would be that the bread could be fresher and, because it's mom, she would prefer more veggies! In a highly unusual move, dad ate his entire steak sandwich. Ok I've been to all the healthy eating joints in the county, Tender greens, Urbane Cafe, Urban Plates, etc... crafted greens blows them all the way. It's hands down the best of them all. I've never once had a wilted piece of lettuce in a salad. Everything is fresh and well made to perfection. I could eat here every day and rotate between salads, sandwiches and plates and never be bored. You can either choose one of their salads or a plate with either hot or chilled sides and a choice of protein and they also have sandwiches and soups too. This restaurant can be located in the Harvest Ranch Market shopping center. This shopping area has a pretty big parking lot so you shouldn't have a hard time finding parking. They have a few tables inside and outside. My friend ordered the mediterranean chop chop salad with their grilled steak. I tried some of it and loved the steak. The salad was also not overly dressed. I ordered the beet and goat cheese salad with the grilled chicken. The chicken was not dry and had a lot of good flavor. I LOVED my salad! The beets went so well with the goat cheese and the chicken was seasoned perfectly. My fave was the steak though. The salads came with a slice of grilled focacia bread. I have two dates on here because I enjoyed it so much, I ordered again through Postmates the next day. For the delivery, I ordered the beet and goat cheese salad with steak and the steak plate with mushrooms and brussel sprouts. The hot sides were sooo good. We settled on a chicken caprese sandwich to share and house made chips. The sandwich was on a fresh roll with mozzarella cheese and tomatoes with a balsamic dressing, very fresh and flavorful. Wow, I'm impressed. I called in an order for the double cheeseburger and a chicken plate and the woman who took my order was very friendly and said my order would be ready in 15 minutes. I turned in to the parking lot in exactly 15 minutes of placing my order and what chaos of cars looking for parking spots. I somehow got lucky from all the cars circling around to find parking that I nabbed the 15 minute spot right in front of Crafted Greens. Walked in and the staff were friendly and prompt. My friends and I decided to check this place out for lunch on a weekday. It was busy but there was enough seating inside and outside on their front patio for everyone. You order at the counter and they bring the food out to you. The owner (or manager) saw us looking a bit lost at their menu and came right over to help. Everything looks so good so it was hard to decide. He was awesome and gave us a quick walk thru their menu with his favorites. The food order came to the table pretty quickly after we ordered. We opted to sit outside since it wasn't as noisy and to enjoy the beautiful weather. The owner came by with a complimentary plate of their cilantro hummus, tabbouleh, a roasted beets side, and their house potato chips. We each ordered different salads with added protein (seared Ahi, Tuscan salmon, and Grass feed steaks). Their iced tea, carrot orange juice refreshers, and giant cookies were good too. Everything was delicious! One of our orders had an issue and it was taken care of promptly. We are checked on often for refills. We will definitely come back! I ordered the autumn pear salad and added salmon to it. The salad was very good; I liked that it was lightly dressed and all the ingredients were already tossed. The salmon was cooked perfectly. Everything tasted fresh. It also came with a side of foccacia, but I didn't love it. My husband got the grilled chicken club that came with house made chips. They also have a nice dessert selection so we split a snickerdoodle cookie and it was soft and delicious. Food came out relatively quick. My husband and I arrived just before 6pm on a Saturday, this is our first time dining at Crafted Greens. The restaurant is located in a strip mall, deep into East El Cajon - it is in the same mall as Harvest Market. Ample parking available. We were greeted with smiles and a warm "welcome" upon entering. Inside, the restaurant is very clean and bright. The restaurant is quite narrow and small, single row of tables on your left and food counter on your right. Table seating runs the length of the restaurant, it shares the same space with the ordering counter and live kitchen (quite crowded and busy space). This is not a restaurant for quiet intimate conversation (get to know your dining neighbors). You will be placing your own order at a counter, and then the food will be deliverd to your table. There were several diners eating inside and a few outside, in a covered area, just in front of the restaurant, (which extends past the public sidewalk). There was a steady stream of patrons during our dinner, (dine-in, as well as, pick up). I ordered the Asian Salad and my protein option was chicken. My husband ordered the Cajun Seared Ahi Tuna Plate, and chose the sides of Roasted Balsamic Brussels Sprouts, and Seasonal Vegetables. A slice of grilled foccacia bread accompanied both our meals. We also ordered a small Cherry Green tea and a large Mango Black tea. My salad greens were very fresh and lightly dressed with a yummy Asian dressing, all tossed with sliced toasted almonds and topped with fried wonton strips. The grilled chicken was tender and presented sliced on the side. It was a perfect portion size for me, I would rate my salad a 5. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his Ahi meal. The Ahi was served very rare, as it should be, and had a nice Cajun "kick" to it. The balsamic Brussels sprouts were absolutely delicious and we would order them again! The Seasonal vegetables today were lightly sauteed fresh green beans and carrots, nothing extraordinary. My husband rated his meal a 4, taking a point off for the green beans not being tender (left the fibrous string attached). Neither of us cared for the Foccacia bread - flavorless and tough/dry. We both loved our unsweetened teas. We did not order a dessert, though they looked delicious through the glass case - maybe next time. Total bill with tip was approximately $57.00. We will be coming here again, but probably only for take out or dining outside when it is a bit cooler. read more

A healthy indulgence! This is a cute and trendy spot, with a variety of tasty sandwiches and salads. I left with a satisfied tummy, but also felt good about my healthy choices. I was very impressed by the customer service. I went during the lunch rush, however one staff member in particular opened up a new register to ensure the line kept moving, and regularly checked in on me, even though it is an order at the counter kind of place. He even offered to refill my drink (and it is a self service soda fountain). Stumbled upon this place after a golf round in the area. We never really come down here and we are so happy that found this restaurant! The service was fantastic! I would recommend the scrumptious buffalo chicken Caesar wrap and the steak plate with Brussel sprouts (they were so yummy with the balsamic!). My boyfriend has an aversion to Brussel sprouts but he ate all of them up today- and that says a lot!
