Eventhough I told the Dr I needed extra novacaine, he didn't listen. He was so rough with the 2nd injection he caused me to scream with pain. I've been to plenty of specialist, so I know how rough he was. I had to argue with person responsible for insurance claim because he insisted insurance wouldn't cover any of procedure. They also wouldn't bill both my insurances. Turns out DeltaDental paid some of it so I had been billed almost $300 more. I had to call & get reimbursed. They only sent me part of amount so I had to call again! Then I had to submit another claim to Humana Dental when I found out they covered the extraction. The check for $436.77 incorrectly sent to Seattle Oral & not Mr since I paid for procedure out of pocket. Seattle Oral cashed check, never notifying me. Now I'm trying to get in touch with whoever handles this, after sending email, voice-mail, speaking with reception. I was told I'd hear back this morning & haven't yet. They've now kept my money 3x! I wonder how much money they've kept from other people

I was at first a little overwhelmed over all the pre surgical as they were doing it. I think maybe just a little bit of explaining as they are setting up bp, heart monitors, O2 & gas. Being very aware of it, some do better with just a walk thru. That's all. Other than that, Dr Naumann got an iv site on (I'm not the greatest poke), first time. Explained he was going to get started & did just that. Be the time I was finished I was sore but not in extreme pain. Dr Naumann made sure to step in & check to see all went well, touch base & get an app on to follow up. I saw someone post before was not happy with his bedside manner. I think he was great in being a more professional but respectable Dr. I went in knowing he isn't a small talker & is quite busy. I also am someone that suffers from anxiety, huge fear of dentists and depression & feel he was understanding. I was given antibiotics, extra strength ibuprofen & a light opioid to take as needed. As I am 14 hours post up, I'm glad he did my procedure. I didn't expect a lot of chat with him & know he's a busy man working in a very scary field given COVID-19. I do wish that they explained a bit more as they are getting you ready for surgery, but they are great. Thank you Dr Naumann & your staff.

They…read moregive you a cost estimate and are transparent about the additional charge to use a credit card. Now for the rest of the story: The fact that the oral surgeon was able to get an IV in my arm that most people can't speaks volumes to his skill. I didn't have any pain after my extraction and didn't take any meds, though it was a relatively "simple" extraction as far as extractions go. The hardest part post‑op was limiting myself to soft foods for a week! I've only been to the office twice -- the consult and the actual procedure. The consult didn't leave me with the best first impression. My anxiety was through the roof and, other than the fantastic lady at the front desk, the visit didn't do much to calm it. I also later found out I could have filled out the paperwork online beforehand; I didn't bring my glasses and really struggled to read the forms in the office. For some people, including myself, the dental environment is inherently anxiety‑provoking. The power imbalance, the lack of control, the vulnerability... None of that is easily eased when you're lying on an uncomfortable dental chair in a cold, quiet room with only your thoughts (and an IV sedation handout) for company. I would have appreciated being clearly presented with all sedation options instead of IV being assumed. Anxiety aside, all went well. I also appreciated the fun bandaid and the thoughtful take‑home bag.

OK so these peeps DR ALTMANN have been in my life for a very long time...... decades....DR ALTMANN…read moreIS THE MAN........literally !! He's GREAT (AND HIS STAFF ) !! He sees things my reg Dentist who also can do implants didn't even see. Dr ALTMANN is who found this out he's the best. If you want some really good looking oral surgeons you might wanna go to OM3 . My regular dentist who referred me there asked what DR I saw after my 1st apt and I said I don't know the cute one lol... My dentist laughed and said well that would be all of them bahahahha !!! And no I did not just get off the laughing gas but for real you Gotta make reviews a little fun and hey it's the truth. I have had Many procedures done at OM3 along with my kids over the years or decades. The first time my wisdom teeth and then my daughters and a few other situations. Next stop Dr Altman will be replacing an implant that was placed decades ago it took multiple dentist not to see the problem however leave it to a specialist and one of the best to spot something that should've been found by my dentist years ago. I even told my dentist something wasn't right with that implant since I have two of them one on each side Both placed decades ago. This is why you always should go to a specialist they see things that some dentist are just not trained or their x-rays don't show. So I see Dustin Altmann he is such a great guy...... very down to earth, excellent bedside manner, always right on schedule, & genuinely cares about his patients. I defiantly recommend OM3 and Dr Altman. I did see one of the other doctors I think it was Dr. Brady many years ago but I'm now Dr Altmanns patient. They do require a referral from a dentist but prices are good and they are very well sought after Oral Surgeon's not to mention they have three different locations which will allow more flexibility. The nurse while they were putting stitches in my mouth or while they were numbing me was rubbing my arm to distract me. What a sweetheart. I just can't say enough for this great place and yes all the doctors are easy on the eyes lol As for the office staff oh my goodness they're all just amazing. Trey who helped me schedule everything was awesome and it was kind of fun seeing him at both the Smokey Point and the Snohomish location!! Thank you to all the amazing staff and doctors for genuinely caring. The call after surgery that night is the sweetest and they're very proficient finding out benefits and coordinating everything with insurance.

Just happened she was also the person I spoke to on the phone when I made my appt. What a gem. She got me in quickly (two days), super nice, very knowledgeable. I was in a lot of pain and had not been able to eat without excruciating pain. I was taken back into the consult room by Case, one of Dr Kim's assts. He was so helpful, made sure I understood everything, thorough, and personable. After seeing Dr Kim, who assessed my problem, agreed with the dx of removal, I was seen again by Julie who worked with me for my surgery schedule. I was so wishy washy with anesthesia, nitrous, or just a local...yet she was extremely patient and super nice. I mentioned that all the talking was causing my tooth to ache (pain level 7) and she got up to see if the doctor could see me (we had decided on nitrous). All of the sudden, I was whisked back to surgery by Morgan, who told me that Dr Kim was going to remove my molar right then. HAPPY SURPRISE! I got wishy washy again, and decided to just go with the local anesthesia. They were on it, no problem! Dr Kim came in (he is so nice, gentle, and knows his stuff). After about 5 minutes getting completely numbed up, he told me what I should hear and feel and in less than 2 minutes, (yes, seriously! That molar practically jumped out of my mouth), he was finished! There was none of the weird noises or feels, just tooth gone/pain gone! Morgan gave me all of my After care scrips and notes (she was such a sweetheart, helpful, kind, patient, thorough), I was at the front desk to pay what my insurance didn't cover (not much and their costs were very reasonable - under $100), and schedule followup appt. I was in and out in under 2 hours - remember, I got emergency surgery without being scheduled for it. And this evening, I got a call from Dr Kim to make sure I was doing okay and he told me how great I did. I had never been to this office before. Was referred by CHC emergency dentist (I went there Sat). I left knowing that I will go there any time I need oral surgery. As a tetracycline kid of the early 60s, I have always had horrible teeth. So a return visit is not that far of a reach. It's so great knowing there is an oral surgery office that takes the fear factor out of the equation. This office is full of rock stars. I cannot say enough great things about them. I would give them 10 stars if I could! Kudos to their entire office!

He sent samples twice for biopsy, saying he felt the need to recheck the lab results. Dr. Wahan's professionalism and compassion made a potentially stressful situation very much easier! Since that surgery, I moved to Arizona. Recently, another dental issue has emerged and my surgeon has asked those records. Unfortunately, they were lost to water damage. Today, I was able to find one old paper that had the OM3 office number on it. I called, fully expecting the usual hold time and delays. That is just normal in the last few years. Apparently, Riley (Patient Care Coordinater for OM3) missed that memo on how to drive the patient crazy! I explained that a new dental problem has me needing those old records....and Riley solved my problem in about one minute. She not only listened with full attention, but she repeated my request to be sure she had proper understanding. She asked to put me on hold for a minute, and I would have gladly waited all afternoon if she could help. Instead, she was back on the line in less than a minute. She explained that the records are so old she would need to go to the old system to find them . For those who manage OM3- please know that Riley has saved me an incredible amount of grief and probably pain. I will never forget her kindness in helping me so quickly. I will now be able to see the surgeon tomorrow with the records he needs to treat this new problem. Riley is a gem! Thank you for having such a professional, compassionate and effective person in such an important position.
