I've been a lover of rolfing for the past 6 years. I just completed a 10 series with Craig and have never been more thankful for taking a leap and trying something new. I have spent decades trying to address varying degrees of neck pain and tension. I've been seeing Craig for a while now (years? I can't remember). To be clear -- the Rolf method is not massage -- it's as the title says: a method of structural integration. I call him my "body mechanic." More recently, I had surgery in my ankle, and my most recent sessions have been an amazing addition to my post-surgery PT. Even my PT commented on the difference between before and after my visits with Craig (she quite literally asked me if I could always visit Craig before my visits with her). Some highlights: - Rolf sessions are amazing journeys into understanding your body better. Afterwards, I always feel bigger, more natural, and more connected to my body. My post-visit activities (running, biking, climbing, yoga, what have you) always feel more grounded and more efficient. - I appreciate the fact that he's not trying to get you to sign up for a million sessions. Unless he feels that you need a few more sessions to understand your body better (see the above point), when I ask him when I should see him again, he usually responds with "your body will let you know when it's time." I am so glad I met Craig Dunham! He is an amazing bodyworker. He focuses on rolfing and Fascial Stretch Therapy(FST). I decided I needed some work since my shoulder was causing me lots of grief and I felt so wound tight due to several stressful situations I was experiencing at the time. I found Craig through my gym. I opted for the FST. Craig explained what he was going to do and kept checking in to see how I was doing throughout the session. He did most of the work but there are certain stretches that required me to move. He communicated what he wanted me to do effectively so we didn't waste time.
