I started having intractable, constant nausea, relentless dizziness and vision problems. For over 4 years. The VA blew me off when they couldn't find out why and accused me of hypochondria. Dr Percal from John Kenyon saw me when my eye suddenly went blank. She referred me to Dr Bowersox. He knew exactly what was wrong right off the bat. The second he put the prisms in my lenses, the nausea disappeared. My visual disturbance is getting worse but Dr Bowersox actually listened to me. His replacement listened too. If you have unusual symptoms, get your eyes checked. It might just save your life and ALOT of problems. Thank you for listening to me docs. And his staff are excellent.

News flash... they didn't. In these 3 months I've gotten into a car crash driving at night because I didn't have my glasses and have now almost made it through my entire senior spring semester of college without glasses, often times sacrificing my learning because I couldn't get a seat close to the front and couldn't see in the back. After all this they would not comp me a pair of glasses while I wait to go to another company. So this will now be 4-5 months without glasses. Go here if you're fine with sacrificing your time, quality of life, and safety!

My husband finally decided to get his cataracts taken care of and we asked numerous people who they…read morewould recommend. The name Frank Burns kept coming up so we decided to visit him. He has now fixed one of my husband's cataracts and the other eye will be fixed in a few days. First, it is apparent that Dr. Burns is quite knowledgeable and has his patient's best interest at heart. The office staff are all very friendly and very efficient, which they have to be for the way patients are rotated through, it is really quite amazing. At any given time there are 8-9 patients in the back, some in a second waiting room where one waits after being seen by assistants and before seeing the doctor. Time with the physician is brief, with most of your visit being with an assistant. I must say that Dr. Burns and his staff were very kind and accommodating when on the eve and morning of my husband's surgery I had some frightening (and potentially dangerous) eye issues. Dr. Burns told me to call his office immediately after my husband's surgery and tell them to get me in the next day. I was not even a patient of his at that time! Despite the very long time a visit takes (was an hour and a half yesterday for hubby's second follow up appointment), I would still recommend him. I have made an appointment for a vision and eye exam for myself; should my opinion change after that, I will update my review.
