His staff was wonderful and very patient. I called the office several times before and after surgery and they always had time to reassure me. Always willing to listen to my concerns and questions. I got cataracts at an early age (compared to most ) and Dr Taustine did my surgeries. And all I can say is thank you Dr T for giving me my sight back. I have always been really near-sighted with a lot of astigmatism and I'm now basically 20/25 in both eyes. It's such a joy to wake up in the morning and to be able to just see! Nothing blurry or fuzzy. It's amazing! My husband finally decided to get his cataracts taken care of and we asked numerous people who they…read morewould recommend. The name Frank Burns kept coming up so we decided to visit him. He has now fixed one of my husband's cataracts and the other eye will be fixed in a few days. First, it is apparent that Dr. Burns is quite knowledgeable and has his patient's best interest at heart. The office staff are all very friendly and very efficient, which they have to be for the way patients are rotated through, it is really quite amazing. At any given time there are 8-9 patients in the back, some in a second waiting room where one waits after being seen by assistants and before seeing the doctor. Time with the physician is brief, with most of your visit being with an assistant. I must say that Dr. Burns and his staff were very kind and accommodating when on the eve and morning of my husband's surgery I had some frightening (and potentially dangerous) eye issues. Dr. Burns told me to call his office immediately after my husband's surgery and tell them to get me in the next day. I was not even a patient of his at that time! Despite the very long time a visit takes (was an hour and a half yesterday for hubby's second follow up appointment), I would still recommend him. I have made an appointment for a vision and eye exam for myself; should my opinion change after that, I will update my review.

Still no call to schedule anything. I called Gaddies back, and still again, a referral was not sent. This time I was a little frustrated. The girl I spoke to on the phone was so uninterested and indifferent about my frustration and kept talking over me and projected my frustration back on me. I, my husband and son will not be returning. I told her that and she said "okay".

I left a voicemail and called back a half hour later. I asked Priscilla who she reports to and she spoke over me then hung up on me. I called back and asked to speak to her again. She said she didn't have to be nice to "people like me" and that I was being rude to her, despite her hanging up on me. I asked her to explain the charges and why they were sending a statement a year after the service and it being paid in full at the time. I asked why no one is holding billing (which is her) accountable. She told me again that I needed to pay it or she didn't care what I did at that point. I asked her what she meant and she hung up on me again.
