I was afraid it would be a bad experience after having the same dental office for so long. But I was pleasantly surprised it is a smaller office and its more of a personal touch although they don't keep the same hygienists they seem to be temps. Dr. Vicki Shah is very nice and did my first filling with her and she was gentle and patient and she got my numbing correct in the first shot that used to take forever with other dentists. The filling did not take long and was perfectly shaped on the first try. Definitely recommend.

Each time they made adjustments, I was charged again. I was never told beforehand that I would continue being charged for these visits. My issue is simple: I had already paid for a bridge, and I believe the office had a responsibility to make sure the work they provided was correct. Eventually, instead of resolving the problem, I was told they were essentially done dealing with it and that I needed to see another dentist. When I asked for a recommendation, I was told to find a doctor myself because the dentist was "too busy" to recommend one. I found another dentist on my own, but then had difficulty getting this office to send my records to the new dentist. Those records were important because this office had performed the original work and additional treatment, and the new dentist needed to know exactly what had been done before trying to correct the problem. Throughout this process, I also found the woman at the front desk extremely rude and dismissive. She told me I would be charged each time because they were performing work. Again, nobody had explained beforehand that I would repeatedly be charged for attempts to correct a bridge that I never felt was properly completed in the first place. Now they are pursuing me for additional money that insurance did not cover, which I have refused to pay because I dispute these additional charges. I paid this office expecting to receive a properly completed bridge. Instead, I ended up with repeated charges, was told to find another dentist to correct the problem, had difficulty obtaining my records for that dentist, and am now being pursued for the disputed balance. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this office.

When my son was having his wisdom teeth removed, they would not submit his preauthorization forms even though our dental insurance company specifically requested them. I was told, "most dental offices don't do that because it takes too long. If you want to do it, you have to do it on your own." I was then give. The line of how fortunate we are because they will at least bill our insurance company instead of making us pay upfront and then recoup it from the insurance company offer the fact. I called several other dentists after this conversation and learned that they would in fact submit the preauthorization. My son was 7 minutes late for a prior visit and they called us three times to complain. Certainly I'd prefer that he was not late, but that is a huge overreaction to 7 minutes. When I finally asked them to forward our records to a new office as I was done with them, they again refused. I was told that request had to come from the new dentist. Again, this follows their attitude of them doing us a favor with everything.
