We just received a letter from the IRS over the weekend indicating not only are we not getting a refund, but we actually owe $400. To add insult to injury, they were closed yesterday and then closed again today so we can't talk to someone and ask how they were so far off. If they rectify this for us in some way I will update my review, but when we filed our own taxes many many years we NEVER got it wrong. Not sure how we paid these people $700 and this is the end result? Update: I tracked down their hours and it seems they're not closed, but their hours are only 9 am - 12 pm every day. I'm a teacher (teaching summer school) so I can't call them to discuss this. We uploaded the letter from the IRS into the portal over the weekend and haven't heard back.

We had a great conversation, and she seemed capable. However, the price was unclear. My business is small with minimal transactions. Nicole initially quoted $2 per transaction, but her minimum charge would be $1,000 even if I didn't have that amount of transactions. I agreed to this. I paid a $1,500 down payment on May 20th and asked Nicole not to send me surprise billing. She promised to send me a proposal, but it was delayed until I demanded that she stop working on my books as I saw no progress. I advised her that I would find another accountant to complete the job. By then, she claimed that 2024 (7 months) was complete and that I needed to pay for the work she did, even though I never signed a contract (it was never sent until after she knew she was being replaced). Nicole has billed me an additional $4,307.50 for 7 months of work that I have no documents to show that she ever did. I have since hired someone else to complete the job, but now I'm being threatened with legal action. I also read Brandi's review and wanted to give Nicole a chance, but I regret not taking the advice above.

I've never experienced such a terrible tax service in my life. I was referred to this company by a…read morefriend who said these people knew what they were doing. On February 03, I dropped off my tax paperwork to be filed. I was quoted $50 for the charge and I was told I'd receive a call within a few business days when all the paperwork was ready to be signed. A week went by and I heard nothing. When I called to check the status of my paperwork, the woman who answered the phone said she couldn't find anything with my name on it. She said she'd take my number and call me back. I received a call almost a week later saying my paperwork had been found and that I could go in to sign the documentation and pay for the services. I went in to pay for said services on February 17th and I was told by a woman at the front desk that it would be $100. I politely let her know that I was quoted $50 and she honored that quote. That was nice. I paid for the services and was told they would be mailing out my taxes that day. Mailing. As in paper mail. Had I known sooner that they'd be mailing my taxes, I would've never utilized their services. It's been 3 months and I've still received nothing. I checked my tax processing status with the state and they tell me they've received nothing. I'm so annoyed. I've been calling for the last month only to get an answering machine that doesn't give me an option to leave a voicemail because the voice mailbox is full. Absolutely ridiculous. I'll stick with H&R Block next yet.
