TL;DR Take pictures when/if you move in and after moving out. Take pictures of everything. They will do what they can so that you don't get your deposit back. We lived there for one year. There were multiple instances of us getting the rent in, but receiving a printed notice 6 days later that rent needed to be paid. It was printed first then hand signed two days after it was printed. We moved out March 6th. Beforehand, we gave notice that was the move date and asked if it was acceptable that we move out on that day. I was given an envelope to write our forwarding address, the apartment we're vacating, the date and time. I put the 2 mailbox keys, apartment keys, and the gym key in the overnight mail slot just after 9 pm that night. Now a few weeks later, we got a notice from Craig Ranch Villas charging us for not giving adequate notice (a lie), not receiving the keys (another lie), cleaning fee (there are only two rooms with carpet and we cleaned and vacuumed). We forgot to give back 2 of the parking passes and we spoke to management about returning them and to revise the invoice. They just said they wouldn't do it. The rental amounts might sound nice, but the complex is really filthy, the staff doesn't seem to actually care about the tenants as well had an issue with someone trying to get into our apartment late one night and they didn't have any idea what we were talking about even after calling the security service tasked with this complex. read more

I moved in here less than one month ago. I've been extremely unsatisfied and have expressed that to the office and couldn't even get a call back from the manager. No empathy no apologies anything. I was moved into an apartment with a non working dishwasher , broken fridge , broken and DISGUSTING toilet. The carpets reeked of cats , and gave me and my son allergic reactions. The place was not professionally cleaned, oil all over and behind the stove , food stuck in the microwave , previous tenants belongings still in drawer. My washer leaked from the first day I moved in. Maintenance has been out 3-4 times and last time he stated he could not find a leak .. * insert eye roll * asked us to run a load said he'd be back in an hour and never came back. I called the office and was told I had to put another work order in. Which means I'm waiting again and extended period of time for something that should be working upon my move in. They stated it was a " brand new washer and dryer ". the dryer had already lint in it and dirt and dust.. and the washer leaks.. so how are they new ? The office lacks attentiveness to their tenants and the gym has been closed since I moved here. The sprinklers on property are broken or damaged so there is water EVERYWHERE anytime the property gets " watered ". Overall I was so excited for this apartment but got an unclean apartment with a bunch of broken stuff, and not even so much as an apology or any offer to make anything right. read more

If I could give them 0 stars I would in a heartbeat! Any issue we have it takes them 5+ days for them to take care of it. Our cars have been broken into MULTIPLE TIMES. Cops in the area everyday and they think putting cameras in the front is really gonna help deter anything. They said they have security onsite but have yet to see anyone patrolling our complex. Today they towed our car for no apparent reason. We have good tags and have the placard that the office gave that is apparently not good enough for the towing company so they took it in their hands to remove our car. And now we have to pay a fine that we do not have the funds for and it is during the holiday seasons. Went down to office and Faye just shoved our concerns out the door and didn't even try to listen to us. We have been here for 2 years and it has been nothing but issue after issue with them. The apartments are outta control now I've seen cars get stolen in broad daylight.I lost my keys went and paid $35 to replace them it took them 3 weeks to get my the keys. Every holiday the pool is closed for cleaning or maintenance. When things break the replace is with other old parts instead of replacing it all together. read more

One of the worst living conditions I have ever experienced. They raised the rent but yet they haven't upgraded or changed anything. The pool is always closed(during the summer time) and the gym is pathetic. They evicted a friend of mine and her grand daughter because she asked them to do something about the pigeon feces in front of her door way. They constantly try and fine a reason to tow your car. I lived here for a while and it went from bad to worse with me being there from 2015-2017. there have been issues with loud and obnoxious neighbors that have no courtesy for others way after 11 pm. Sometimes, even waking me from my sleep. When I asked to quiet down they became aggressive to the point the police were called. Later on my car had multiple scratches out on it. When I informed the leasing office about they informed me there was nothing they could do about the neighbors and offered me to move units, which confused me because as a great rent paying tenant I shouldn't have to pack my stuff up to move. This attitude towards the tenants seems to Be affecting their bottom line as we received letters to get $100 off to rent for saying something positive. read more

Only thing that's good is the reasonable rent. I guess you get what you pay for. This is the WORST place I have ever lived in my life. They don't clean the units properly before anyone moves in and they paint over dead roaches on the wall. There is paint splattered all over the vinyl flooring and it is not installed properly. They give you broken and dirty appliances but I'm sure they take a cleaning fee out of your deposit. They need to put ROACH INFESTATION on the amenities, cus best believe you getting some. This place is disgusting. People just throw trash out on to the floor and there's multiple police here every week along with some ghetto ass ppl fighting in the parking lot. The apartments themselves are decent with the exception that they are old. So in the 1.5 years we lived there, we had to call maintenance 7 different times to fix broken appliances, air conditioner, leaks, ect. The complex is awful. It is FILTHY and the apartment grounds are not kept up by maintenance or landscaping. The shrubbery is in shambles and the small rocks they use to cover all of the dirt are basically non existent and so it is just ugly piles of dirt; or mud if it rains. The residents do not take pride in their surroundings and quite often contribute to the filth. One of my neighbors unloads all of her trash from her car right into the parking lot EVERYTIME SHE PARKS... Mail, fast food bags, half consumed big gulps, you name it. I'm not saying everyone is like this, just most of them. They are loud, obnoxious, and have little to no respect for anything. I have also had parts stolen off of my truck. I know this can happen anywhere, but in all the Vegas areas I've lived in during the 32 years of my life (I am native to LV and have lived mostly on the NE side of town) this is the only time my car has been burgled/vandalized... ***Update 01/12/16*** This morning my truck has gang related tagging on it! The pool never opens yet they have these beautiful pics all over site. When we were looking on apartments. Com our only search filter was a pool. Cops are always there for domestic violence usually and some search warrants. When the maintenance requests are filled out don't expect to get a reply for a month or more. I have lived here for 2 years with 12 month leases. My lease is just about to renew and they have just increased my rent $372, a 30% increase. It was only a 1 year lease so it isn't like they were making up for no rent increases for several years and they raised it last year as well. I called the office and their explanation was that was what the market will bear. So unless you can afford a jump in rent like that from year to year, I would suggest you not sign a lease with them and end up scrambling like I am to find another place to live. read more

I lived there for just over 4 years. I just recently moved because I bought a house. This is a really nice, clean apartment complex. Rarely would I even find a bug in my apartment, even when my roommate would eat in her room and leave dirty plates in there. If anything needed repair work, the maintenance team was usually there within 24hrs. My a/c broke after hours this past spring and someone still came that night to fix it. All the office staff and the manager have been nothing but pleasant. I'd definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a place to live. read more

From the 4 years I've lived here I've now run out of good things to say about this complex. I've had my share of bad experiences here but today takes the cake! I'm currently 7 months pregnant and a box was delivered to the office unfortunately, usually the UPS man brings it to my door but not today.. so I drove my car to the office to pick up this 52lbs box. The manager is the only employee in the office and obviously seeing that I'm pregnant he watches me struggle to move this box as there was supposedly no one who could help get it back to my apt. The manager doesn't offer to help at all but a woman (who was there to look at an apt) offered to carry the box to my car and the manager still just watches us struggle with this box not once offering to help. I have my own pest control come every month and the apartments pest control come every month and still have problems with them. They need to do a mandatory spray once a month to the surrounding apartments or its never gonna stop! So annoyed. There are ambulances going to this community constantly, making a fuss every night, and the surrounding neighborhoods are so nice and quiet. Absolutely horrible!! I had cockroaches the entire 18 months I lived there. They sprayed my unit almost monthly and did 4 deep clean outs before they figured out you can't just treat one apartment you have to treat the surrounding ones. They were even coming out of the electrical socket in the kitchen. There was a woman murdered there, I had kids write CK which stands for crypt killers and f*** you on the hood of my car. There are people buying frozen meat out of the trunks of other people's car also. The walls and ceilings are paper thin you can hear every step your neighbor takes. Lived here for 3 months while I was waiting for my house to be ready. Every month I had an issue with rent payment as I would walk in, hand them a credit card and sign my name. A few days later I would get a notice that I was $5 short and associated fees would be added. Or I would get late notices a week before my rent was due. Just horrible communication. Old apartments that are in poor repair. I didn't have pest issues like some of the previous comments, but I'm positive it was cleaner when I moved out than when I moved in. read more

Bugs!!!! These apartments have millipedes and roaches!! I've asked the office to spray my apartment multiple times (I'm not sure if they do as I'm not home when it's supposed to happen) yet I keep finding millipedes coming through sink drains and onto my dishes (!!) roaches coming in through air vents, caught one climbing up my kitchen cabinet, every now and then there will be a dead one on the floor and I'm not sure where those ones come from. I've found millipedes in my daughter's room and under the sink. The rent is atrocious for what I'm getting here, I pay over 1k for a two bedroom PLUS $50 for water. These apartments are not worth the money. I can't enjoy being at home because I feel gross just being here. read more

if I could rate this place LESS than 1 star, I would ... my mother & lil sis currently reside here paying $1,240 a month in rent. the washing machine went out 5 days ago & they are in NO hurry 2 fix it. we were advised the washer in the club house could be used until they came out 2 fix it with NO estimated time frame on how long this would take. Monday, they were closed & 2day well, 4 some reason the washing machine in the club house is unavailable even tho we were there as soon as the office opened on top of that it doesn't matter that my mother had a knee replacement & it's not easy 4 her 2 get around. they take MORE time than a snail fixing any problem no matter how small. my little sis went a month without her toilet when all it needed was a snake - 3 weeks for a clogged sink in the kitchen while dirty dishes piled up & flies made themselves at home. BEYOND frustrating!!! but I bet they would stick a note on the door with the quickness if the rent wasn't paid on time. this place cares NOTHING about their tenants or how hard they work 2 pay $1,240 a month in rent only to get unreliable & uncaring staff with more excuses than I care 2 count. We just moved here after living in Henderson for a year. Truth be told, I would not have rented this place. My friend did but only made one visit before deciding. BIG mistake! I feel so trapped being here therefore, this will be a bit long to ensure you get a realistic visual. They call it a luxury apartment, it is NOT! The pipes in my sink make a horrible banging sound EVERY time we turn it on and this is after they fixed them. I have not even been here a week and maintenance has been here twice already. Sweet older man but.... The place was absolutely filthy when we moved in. I'm still cleaning! It's not stuff laying on the floor but blackish sludge in the cracks of the cabinets walls and floors. Sticky stuff all over the counters, baseboards covered in dirt and the outside smells like urine once the sun comes out. All of this I could deal with since I prefer to clean things my way anyways. Unfortunately, it's the things I have no control over that make this place unacceptable. There is a group of 10-20 teenagers that run around screaming at the top of their lungs. Yes, they are laughing and having fun BUT they are using language that is definitely not appropriate for children no matter the age. I am younger with a couple young children so I want my children socializing with kids their own age so I encouraged them to go meet the neighbor kids. Nice kids! Smart, respectful and they play nice together. Well, these two little boys inform me that they are no longer allowed to play outside because a couple kids in the group of teenagers dragged them around the corner and beat them up. The kids father stopped the beating but said he didn't want any trouble from calling the police!! WHAT????? People say their property gets damaged or they are threatened if and when they say anything about their children or their own behavior. The mentality of some of the residents is worrisome at best. It seems these teenagers are allowed if not encouraged to intimidate smaller children. The two boys were ages 7 and 8. The teenagers were 12 and up. I witnessed them checking car doors and entering the ones that were unlocked. I watched one boy take a bike off a porch and run away with his friend laughing.(could have been a simple prank) In the few days I've been here, I tried talking to them and alone each of them seemed like good kids but when they got together, they only wanted to impress each other. Its a big problem and the property manager gave a look like he didn't believe me. Thankfully I carry a video recorder. I have never seen kids so aggressive for no apparent reason but it is a MAJOR concern for me. As for me and my children, we will be breaking our lease. GoodLuck to all of you living here! I found Craig Ranch Villas on line (2008) moving from Chicago, Illinois. The apartment was perfect for me with all the necessary things to make my apartment HOME. The management is always responsive to my needs and the staff and maintenance are courteous and respectful. I have recommended Craig Ranch because of the service and amenities offered. Being a single woman security is an issue for me, but here at Craig Ranch those needs are met. Whenever I leave my apartment and visit others my response when I walk through my door is "there's no place like home ". This is the feeling I get living here. read more
