a box of cookies on a table
Deanne M.

I came in the morning and they were cooking fresh batches of cookies. The cookies were really good, not too salty but they were definitely sweet! I got a dozen assorted cookies for $30. I asked the worker to give me his favourite cookies and we ended up with Chocolate Chip, Ferrero Rocher, Skor, Apple Pie, PB Cup, Toblerone, and Kinder Bueno.

A delicious box of cookies and a glass bottle of organic chocolate milk. My guest enjoy her box of cookies and was very pleased with the presentation and taste! Having a glass bottle of organic chocolate milk hit the spot!

I've walked by several Craig's Cookies in the city but never had a chance to try them until I came across a post on social media for national cookies day where they had a promotion for 40% off half a dozen of their famous chocolate chip cookies. The promotion was a great opportunity for me to finally try their cookies. What I enjoyed most was the fact that I can preorder for pick up later in the week. I scheduled to pick up my cookies in the middle of the week when it's less busy. I easily found street parking in the neighbourhood and walked over to the shop. Inside the shop at just after 2pm, I was greeted by a friendly staff who had my order ready on standby. They had a little display case of all the cookies they offered which was such eye candy for any cookie monster like myself. The cookie was extremely fresh, it was a little soft in the middle and absolutely delicious. They were also huge pieces of chocolate in there! If you've never tried them, I recommend start by going for a classic chocolate chip cookie.

New location in Leaside. Big storefront right on Bayview with all glass windows so you can decide on cookie selections while waiting outside! Only one customer inside at a time due to current covid situation. It does get busy and line up is long but moves quickly. Offerings include selection of the daily cookies and coffee all for takeout only. Two cookies for $5.50, half dozen for $16 etc. The cookies are thick and gooey with lots of filling and super rich but satisfying. Better warmed up. Perfect for carb lovers and with coffee or tea in cold wintry conditions. Service is fast and efficient. Odd that they will ask for tip for a 5 second transaction. Overall lovely addition to the area.

I had the Craig's cookies given to me as a gift they are good but the one thing about them that I find is I can't eat more than one. It was a bit to salty and to much chocolate. I'm not a big fan of salty cookies but if you are you may like them.

Cute box

Really wanted to like these cookies - they were soft and chewy, very chocolatey (at least the chocolate ones were!), but unfortunately, VERY salty. Had to drink a lot of tea afterwards to wash the salt away. Please use less salt, Craig!

Showing off to the neighbours!

I'm not sure what all the negative hype is about with Craig's Cookies, but I quite enjoyed them.

You are allowed to sample some gelato flavours before committing. I came with a friend. We ordered the following: 1. Mango Matcha Latte ($6.50). 2. Strawberry Matcha Latte ($6.50). 3. Pistachio Gelato (small $5.25). 4. Thai Tea Gelato (small $5.25). 5. Gelato Bubble Wrap ($8.99). Chose Ube and Mango Pomelo Sago. The Matcha Latte is only average. They look pretty but it is full of sugary syrup. You can choose any two gelato flavours for the Gelato Bubble Wrap. The Mango Pomelo Sago was my favourite flavour! In general, the gelato was quite good. I found a black pubic hair over 1 inch long in my Thai Tea Gelato. Gross! I forgot to take a photo but I showed it to my friend and the employee. She sincerely apologized. I should have asked for a new gelato; lost that opportunity! However, when I reviewed my photos, I found a photo showing the pubic hair! I included this photo, zoomed into the hair. There is a Rewards Club. You get 10% off your first purchase. The store is not wheelchair accessible. There are no customer washrooms. There is paid neighbourhood street parking. Review 2025-150

They have over a dozen selections of cheesecake as well as other menu items including cocktails, sandwiches and more. We got the Pistachio Cheesecake which was really tasty. It was smooth and had a just-sweet-enough pistachio flavour, I really enjoyed it. However, one of my favourite parts of a cheesecake is the crust and this one didn't have any! I personally enjoy a cheesecake with a toasted crunchy crust that compliments the creamy texture of the cake. The service was great! The staff were friendly and even offered us to sit at a table by the fire. 5 stars for customer service. Overall, it wasn't a show stopping experience but it was cozy, inviting and I was satisfied with the dessert. I'd like to come back again in the fall season to try their new flavours!

They aren't officially opened yet but decided to have their soft opening today since the weather was nice. They are located inside the Gamerama so if you don't see them at first don't panic, just walk inside the game store. They have curated a selection of cheesecakes, gelato and ice cream. Their sign also says they have vegan Michu but this was not available at their soft opening. If you want something to munch on they also sell grill cheese sandwiches and chips. Very random but the perfect assortment of things for people who want to grab something and go. Since they share the space with Gamerama they do not have washrooms and only had one table that fit 2 people directly outside. If your in the area definitely stop and check them out. I got the toasted marshmallow gelato and it tasted so good! Reminded me of marshmallow with caramel. Very yummy!

Came for a casual birthday dinner - unfortunately (but understandably) they were not able to let us bring in a cake to eat (though they did hold onto it for us). First time here, so ordered the Zenbu Katsu and a Mazemen (udon). Zenbu Katsu comes with an assortment of Katsu - few selections of pork, shrimp, menchi (meatball), and veggies. Mazemen is a brothless udon to be mixed with sauce, pork, and an egg. Both items were very tasty. Each katsu was crispy and it was very nice to get the assortment (also just a lot of food). Favourite for me was the menchi. Mazemen was also very flavourful. Overall friendly service, and delicious food. Price is a little high, but reasonable. Would recommend.

This Terroni x Cumbrae's collaboration is something special, and we absolutely loved it. I've always had a soft spot for Cosimo Mammoliti's restaurants, partly because they hail from the same small town in Calabria as my father -- but this experience felt like a whole new level. We started with the Salmone Crudo -- Irish organic salmon, tamari, pickled shallot, caper, extra virgin olive oil -- and it was melt-in-your-mouth good, balanced and beautifully executed. We also shared the Ricotta e 'Nduja pizza -- mozzarella, ricotta, 'nduja, honey, chili, chives -- a beautiful balance of savory, spicy, and sweet, with the 'nduja bringing that unmistakable Calabrian kick. The king of the night, though, was the 14oz dry-aged Ribeye (6-8 weeks aged) -- succulent, rich, and cooked perfectly. Paired with a bottle of Valpolicella Ca' Rugate, it made for a standout dining experience. A big thank you to Miles for the amazing hospitality -- we truly loved the experience. Overall, an exceptional meal that blends Italian soul with serious steakhouse craftsmanship -- absolutely worth a return visit. Saluti.
