Knowing Bobby for 30 years now and being a mechanic myself I always send him my overflow of customers. Always honest and fair. I'm reading some reviews of some customers and laughing. Sorry lady just cause you have a problem with your car we can't just drop everything we are doing to serve your needs such an emergency that you were able to drive away lol..... And the guy with the extra parts needed to fix your brakes once we get in there and your caliper piston is cracked and won't retract we or a seized slide pin we need a new caliper to put your car back together...... this isn't rocket science guys...... to attack a guy in business for 30 years cause he's actually replacing stuff for your safety and it needs to be replaced. My Fiancé needed to get new rotors and breaks on her rear tires for her car. She brought it to "Bobby and Crew- Precision Auto" in Middletown, NJ off route 35. The Mechanic told her they can do the job for $400 (only the two rear rotors and breaks). My fiancé, unaware of the ridiculous pricing agreed to the job. After 2 days of not hearing from the mechanic, my fiancé called to see if the car was ready for pick up. The mechanic told her that it was ready but they had to do additional work on the car and the new total is now $800 not including tax. My fiancé was completely caught off guard and questioned why the mechanic never called her to inform her of additional work and money before starting the job. The mechanic replied "well it has to get done it was one of those things". This mechanic took it upon himself to add $400 of non agreed upon work because "it was one of those things". He was trying to completely take advantage of a young female and trying to make an extra buck. Class-less act from this mechanic. When I went to go pick up the car, the mechanic said they couldn't do the original job without the additional work and just did it or the car wouldn't drive. when I informed them that they can't just decide to add on additional work, they argued with us and eventually took $300 off the price brining the total to $500. After about 10 minutes of arguing, we decided to pay the $500 to get out of there. The lady behind the desk, asked us to leave the property before even giving us the key to the car. She then threw the key at my fiancé and called her a "little girl" and told her "to go back to NY" (she has NY plates) when I said something to the lady for disrespecting my fiancé, - after giving them $500 of business, the mechanic decided to step in and exchange some words, continuing to call my fiancé a "little girl" and saying they welcome my review and "one bad review won't do anything" Never in my life have I experienced class-less, unprofessional, and unethical individuals and business and highly recommended avoiding this business. They made up fictitious work, tried to charge an additional $400 without clients approval, and then threw insults at my fiancé and myself, after paying them over the agreed upon price. Complete Scam! Completely unethical ! DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS. read more

This place is a scam. I went there for an oil change and gas, and they advertised a price of $34.99. But when I asked price they said don't know how much it's gonna be. They also lied about services. The customer service was terrible. They were rude, impatient, and dishonest. They did not care about my satisfaction or safety. They just wanted to rip me off. Stay away from this place. I'd give negative stars for the gas station due to the workers. They are extremely rude and when pumping your gas lean On your vehicle and bs. So, I've used Craigs for two repairs so far, and they have been up front and honest to deal with. Clear estimate ahead of time, goes through the details of the costs and breakdown of the issue(s). After having a full transmission and radiator replacement, a month later my 4 wheel drive wasn't working right. I brought it back and they fixed it without question. They may be a little 'short' on the phone, but really - they're mainly just to the point and no nonsense. They're focused on getting the job done right and well, and out the door. Not a lot of fluff - but what do you want - a touchy-feely good feeling, or a fixed car? Oh, and the gas is super inexpensive. And the attendants are usually always good natured and engaging. read more

This place & the service as well as the owner are disgusting! It's a very long story so thanks to anyone who read and share this. There're several reasons why this place is disgusting including being DISHONEST, extremely CRUEL & SNEAKY, RIPPING YOU OFF, DISCRIMINATION, all happened behind my back. Last week, one of my tires was low pressure so I went to this place to put some air in. I was a regular customer of the gas station here (not anymore after this incident), filled it up weekly cause my kid goes to the school closed by. Somehow I left the key in the car and the car locked with all my stuffs inside. It'd never happened before so I didn't know what to do first. I went to ask the attendant for help, he said nothing but went inside, slammed the door on my face. I went back to my car, tried to check if any doors were unlocked.Then another man came out, declared the money I need to pay for him to unlock the car. I agreed and tried to help him. He couldn't unlock the car & walked away without saying a word, left me waiting. I thought that man need another tool. No, he just disappeared for a while then suddenly came out again but jumped into a car & drove away! Another man came out, yelled at me "You gotta do something 'cause there's a truck coming blah blah ...". I waited till he stopped and asked him if I could use his phone to call my husband to bring the spare key for me. He turned around, grumbling something, slammed the door on my face again! I knew I need to do something but I had no phone, nothing with me, so I went into the office and once again, nicely asked if I could borrow the phone to call my husband. He asked how long my husband could get to the place. I said about 30 minutes because my husband was at work, he needed to come home first to get the spare key. Finally he said yes, let me try the land phone without helping. While I was calling my husband, he raised his voice with other men in the office. I'm not sure why I couldn't reach my husband but it told me to leave the msg so I hang up. At least I thought I had hung up because I'm not familiar with that phone. It's really funny the phone wasn't hung up but started recording the voice msg and it was how I discovered the true character of this place! After I hang up the phone, the guy (looks like the owner) shouted at me again that I gotta do something. I was shocked by his attitude but tried to ask him nicely if I could take a cab to go to my house to get the spare key 'cause my house is very close. He didn't let me go, he told me I wasn't allowed to leave my car there. I asked him if he called the service. "Yes" he replied, "the guy's coming". So I thanked to him and asked him should I go outside and wait by my car. "Yes" he replied. I went out, waited by my car for a very long time, at least 40 minutes, in a very cold weather. I wished I had a chance to call my husband again or go to my house & come back, it wouldn't be that long. Finally the "service guy" came, declared the money I need to pay, which turned out 2.5 times more than the first guy asked for. I agreed & also helped him. We got the key out, unlock the car. I paid the amount he declared then filled the gas there and drove to the Middletown library to wait for my kid's dismissal time 'cause it took so long that by the time I got the car unlocked, it was almost the time I need to pick her up. My husband showed up right away at the library & asked if I was ok cause he couldn't received my call but a very nasty voice msg from the place recording me talking with the owner, then the guys laughed at me after I left their office, complained that I kept bothering them & talked about how they're gonna rip me off "every time you annoy the sh-- out of me the price is going to double, I tell you that"- more rode derogatory comments-then He said this derogatory comment "I love you long time" as a Vietnamese woman could only imagine the hurt and offense I feel now. How could they do that to me, a woman who was just asking for help but got mocked and attacked like this. How disgusting!! read more

I have only had good experiences at Craig's. Good service fair price and friendly people. I had to have a trailer hitch attached to my ford explorer and went to Uhaul who wanted to charge me $200. Went over to my friends at Craig's and the did it right away for $50. I will only bring my vehicle's to Craig's. read more

Had the worst time with these guys with my ford taurus--their "repair" resulted in the head gasket blowing three times until I had to junk the car-they have a kid there who used to pump gas who, with no schooling, is now fixing cars--he's a twit--my favorite was when he left on the car lights, killed the battery, and then tried to blame us--meanwhile, how he could not have noticed that the lights were ON when he had the car in the DARK GARAGE is beyond me-plus we dropped the car off in the daylight. We had a great experience here. We were visiting the area and had a slow leak on a tire. We went early on a Saturday and were in and out in a half hour. $16 for the repair, very reasonable. Courteous people on site. I don't normally write reviews, but I wanted to water down the wacko reviews here. We were treated very well. read more

I brought my Bmw here because they supposedly service imports, I never got a call and someone from outside came in and told me the mechanic says to take your car to the dealer. Who advertises they work on imports if they can't complete the job, I went to another local shop and was in and out in 2 hrs while I waited! read more

I had an amazing experience. I went into the shop not necessarily knowing what the problem was but I suspected it was an O2 sensor. They took the time to verify the problem and check other possible problems. I have an older car and have been spending a lot of time in different shops around the area, Craigs was by far the best experience I have had. I hope that I do not get into the situation where I will need to see a mechanic again, but they will certainly be the first place I call if I have to. read more

Terrible experience at this gas station. I usually go to my normal friendly shell friends by my house. However I was running super low on gas and I was close to this gas station at the time so I said why not I will give them a try. The guy had to ask me numerous times what I wanted because he couldn't care to fully listen the first 3 times. It just got worse into the service. I noticed he couldn't get the gas in my car as the gas gun kept clicking. After he kept me there for about 10 minutes he didn't put any gas in my car because the broken gas hose kept clicking. He comes to the window and tells me my gas tank is broken. I just put gas in my car a few days ago. How is this possible? Not to mention I just purchased this car with all these factors checked and serviced before the purchase. I said its fine I will go somewhere else. He still insisted something was wrong with my car. Undermining me as a woman. I wasn't going to have it. On top of all this he charged me 9 dollars. When I said I thought u couldn't get any gas in my car. He replied I still wasted gas you have to pay for it. Ridiculous. Will never ever go back there. Went to my regular shell station had no problem whatsoever filled up my tank and drove home fine. Thank you Craig service for wasting my time and taking 9 of my dollars especially a week before Christmas. Also it looks extremely bad for the business owner correcting the customers that are having horrible experiences at your place. There's a problem when numerous people have such anger that they take the time to go write a bad review. You don't know what you are doing and don't understand customer service. You should instead be commenting and apologizing instead of trying to be a smart ass to the customer that just posted a bad review on the most known website for business on the Internet. read more

my 2001 ford e350 did not start, i had it towed to them and it turned out to be the starter motor. they did not call me to give me the esta met. as a new customer they overcharged me for the starter. i will never give them another job. read more
