I had an issue with getting sales tax packet on time and my tags were due. I called tonget update on situation and was told it was just mailed and it would be 2-3 days before I would get it. What am I suppose to do if I get pulled over for expired tags? Lady said she can't give me an extension on tags. Well, can you type letter stating that packet is being mailed? No was the answer. I emailed Keith and told him the situation and that if I get a ticket, I was sending bill to them per revenue office lady. Keith was helpful. He emailed me back "Good evening I am sorry for the trouble you experienced.  If you want to come by I will make sure you have a tag for a few days at least.  I can do that.  Just an added FYI, You will not be penalized when registering because my corporate office will have written on the back of the title the sale date was the day they physically mail your paperwork.  You could also show that to an office and be completely legal (when you get it of course).  Are you able to come by this evening and let me help you out? This is not an uninformed rant. Please stay away from this dealership. Both their sales team and their service department are either extremely negligent or are the epitome of shysters. I purchased a 2018 Ford F150, September 2025. It has been an all-around bad experience with the dealership. There are too many things that have been handled inappropriately to list them all. Below are a few. 1. During the test drive, the vehicle was pulling slightly. I informed the salesman that I could feel it pulling and advised that I would like to have an alignment if I purchased a vehicle. He said that would not be a problem. 2. After starting the paperwork to purchase a vehicle, The sales manager came out to inform me that the sunroof did not work properly. I asked if that could be fixed as part of the sales agreement. He said it was too time-consuming and too costly For them to handle that as part of the purchase agreement. However, he offered A discount on a one year warranty that could cover it after I had owned the vehicle for 30 days. I eventually ordered the parts off of eBay for $20 And installed it myself in less than an hour. It was neither time to consuming nor costly. 3. I took the truck in for its alignment a few days after purchasing it, It took them hours. When they finally brought the vehicle out, I didn't make it even a mile down the road, and it was pulling hard to the left. When I took it in, it was only slightly pulling. I turned around and went straight back. The service manager saw that the steering wheel was now sitting pointed to the side, and the wheels were pointed straight. The tech that worked in my vehicle came out and said "oh it's because he needs new control arms". That's maybe something that should've been mentioned while they were in the middle of trying to align it and not just give it back to me for me to discover. 4. They scheduled me for a week or so later to have the control arms replaced. They told me it would be two hours which I knew was a line of crock. Regardless, I took it to them on a Saturday morning several hours later they informed me that it was going to be a multi day fix. I think it was three days, two new control, arms, and one new tie rod end later and it was allegedly fixed. Fast forward to the present December 2025, I have started hearing a clunking noise and feeling vibrations in my front end. Having a history of working in a shop myself and being an amateur at home Mechanic, I do an inspection on my vehicle. I discovered that the plate that holds the coil springs on the driver side is extremely loose. The nuts that tighten it down on the top were more than a half inch off of the plate, not even finger tight. I fixed that, but the noise still persisted. So I checked the nuts on the Passenger side and they weren't as loose, but they were also extremely loose. I tightened those and it was atill making the noise. Come to find out, The passenger side control arm that they replaced was also less than finger tight. The one on the driver side was tighter, but was still way too loose. I ended up tightening every nut and bolt that they would have touched to replace those parts. Now my truck seems to be OK. In summary, They are either extremely negligent, or they intentionally sabotaged my truck, which could have resulted in mine or my family's death. I have messaged the service manager that gave me his "personal cell" And have had no response. They used a very minor issue with my sunroof to sell me a warranty, and then seemingly rigged my truck to have to go back for additional service. After leaving the dealership David called me the next day to look at a different vehicle. I asked him to just run the numbers and see how much payments would be. After taking all of my information to his sales manager, Tim and them lowballing me on my trade in, I told them I wasn't interested. Would give them "0" stars if I could...I had my daughter's car towed to Crain Kia for repairs as it was the closes location to her School. Talked to them on a late Thursday afternoon to insure they had received the car and they told me they could probably look at it Friday and if they had the parts could get it repaired, or at least order the parts. Talked to them late Friday afternoon and the service line went to I think a sales person...who had to go back and try to find an update on it and had very poor information. I called Monday around lunch or after and they same thing happened, the person said they needed to go and try to find an update on it and said they would email my information to one of the service people to contact me back...not contact. Called Tuesday morning and had to forcefully request to talk to someone in service and she told me I wasn't going to like what she had to say...they hadn't looked at it and probably could not look at it for at least 2 weeks to even diagnose it. WHY COULD TNEY NOT TELL ME THAT FRIDAY MORNING! I hang up the phone and call Landers Kia (where we usually get the car serviced...I shoulda just paid more to get it towed here but didn't) and their service guy says they can have it diagnosed in 24 hours and go from there. Had it towed late Tuesday/afternoon early evening and they have called me Wednesday morning to find out what is going on and sending it back to the shop to have it diagnosed. How can one shop say they cannot look at it for two weeks possibly and the other says they can do it in 24 hours? The customer relations specialist did send a text to follow up and I called her. I bought my vehicle from the Sherwood location. My sales tax is due in 3 days and I still haven't received my paperwork. I was told today by corporate that the finance department still hadn't sent it off. We have had nothing but issues with this dealership. When we've contacted them about the issues, the only way I've been able to get anything done is to call corporate. This Jeep was advertised as having air conditioning (didn't work), remote keyless entry (didn't work), premium black sun rider soft top (didn't have this), no accidents (CarFax report that the finance lady gave me said that was a lie), new tires (1 tire had a screw in it and all 4 tires had the words rubbed half off like they've been ridden while flat), and a backup camera (didn't have this). Also, the brakes and rotors were worn out and rusted. They needed to be replaced. The change oil light was on and the sticker in the window showed the oil change was overdue. Also, the bright lights didn't work and one of the daytime running lights didn't work. The last owner's registration was still in the glove box and there were french fries under the seats. When I spoke with the person in the service department they told me that the quality inspection hadn't been done on the vehicle before it was sold. We brought all of this up with the dealership within 1 day of purchasing the Jeep and they ended up with my Jeep for 2 weeks. The only way we could get any response was to speak with corporate, or the sales rep, Shaun. He would run across the building to ask whatever questions we had because we couldn't get any answers from the service department. When he couldn't get the answers I needed, we had to speak with corporate to hear back from them. This was the worst experience I've had with a car dealership. I came here because I've heard the slogan for years "Crain teams got em" and honestly, only corporate had em. I hope that the Crain family will take a long hard look at their employees and take the complaints into consideration. This dealership is the worse I have ever dealt with. I bought a used Jeep Wrangler from them. Online they said the jeep had a backup camera, auto start and didn't state any problems. Turns out there is no backup camera, needed an oil change, auto start didn't work, needed all 4 tires replaced, AC didn't work, when I turned on the bright lights it shut off all lights in the vehicle, and only 1 daytime running light worked. In the first 2 weeks of owning it, we had the jeep for 3 days only. The rest of the time it was in their shop. They told us multiple lies about the status, and had us come up there 3 times, which is a 2 hr round trip, for no reason. The service manager told us the jeep was ready, we made a trip up there and he locked the keys in his office when he left for the day. They refused to call him in to get the keys. They have poor communication, no loaner car, making excuses constantly, VERY condescending treatment; especially with Dylan Jackson. The sales manager had the new person (first week) quoting me $45k on a vehicle with a MSRP of $36k sticker price which included addons (so the real MSRP was $33k). When i asked why was was the quote so high he said probably because of the color, I wanted...black. I go to speak to the sales manager and he says well the sales person is new but the website shows $42k. Then he goes to look at the sticker and points back to what the computer is showing him. A few days ago I went with my parents to look for a vehicle. We decided to put in an offer on a Honda Accord that they had in their used car inventory. The salesman explained to us that the online price was incorrect. He explains that if your not military or trading a car it was a 1400 extra than what the internet says. Crooks I was with my son helping him by his first car on credit. My son agreed on a price of a car for 72 months based on a 7.9% interest rate. The contract was totally different from what the salesman agreed to sale the car to him. The price on the car was $1, 700 more than what he originally agreed he would sell the car to my son. Also the term went out to 75 months instead of 72.The finance manager told us they got him a better interest rate. So, because of the better interest rate they tacked on another $1, 700 to the price of the car to make my payments the same as agreed. That's why they always ask you "What do you want your payments to be?"The loan was through Arkansas Federal Credit Union. Crain Kia charged us $1, 000 for their gap insurance. Arkansas Federal Credit Union offers gap insurance for $485. We were never told that Arkansas Federal Credit Union offer gap insurance. I told my son not to sign the contract but he did because they had already let his wife take delivery of the car the day before. The day before when she took delivery of the car, I asked them to print out a buyer's agreement. The salesman said there was no need to do that because everything would work out the way they agreed. Well it didn't work out like they told us. The contract was totally different from what they agreed on. I will never buy a car from them. I originally was so happy with Crain Kia. I got a brand new car, something I've never owed. They told me that they would pay 1/2 of the sales tax. I got my car Sept 17, 2016. I have yet to receive the check. I finally got a temp tag after a month and my mother had to mail that to me. It only had 1 week before it expired. I have been very pleased with James. Don't get me wrong the sales person that I have dealt with has been great and did an awesome job. But it just seems like I'm really put on the back burner. I keep hearing all these different excuses. The manager lies to defend dropping the ball while demeaning you as a customer at the same time. They will look you in the eye and lie to your face, saying what they have to say to get your money. Bought brand new car right off of show room floor. We are not happy with the car at all or the service department. The car only has 30,000 miles on it and both wheel bearings sound like they are going out. Took it to have it checked out and they claim the tires are bad which I have rotated every 5,000 miles. I have owned many vehicles in the last 25 years and never once have the tires wore out in 20,000 miles. I would assume there is a problem with something in the front end of the car if the tires aren't bad which I have checked myself and didnt see issues with the tire like they said. read more

The absolute worst dealership I have ever dealt with. My dad financed a car with them, had us sign the contract, do a down payment and trade my car in, this whole process they were rude but I really wanted the car so we went thru with it. 3 weeks into having the car it wouldn't start one morning, I popped the hood and found the battery was covered in battery acid, so I took it to the dealership to see if they'd at least clean it and give me info on what all was included in my warranty. When I arrived the salesman I went thru was no where to be found even tho I had called him before heading up there. I waited for around 20 minutes and then a man came and asked me for my keys & what was going on, me thinking he was going to look at the battery, I gave him my keys. WRONG, he came back with my old car keys and another man saying the financing never went through and they were taking the car back. Refused to let me see any of the contracts & papers me & my dad has signed and no explanation for anything. The salesmen were extremely rude and non professional. The manager told my dad over the phone "if you feel froggy jump", told me they would fill my old car up since I had just filled the Nissan up, I go to leave and my old car wouldn't even crank so I went back in and the manager told me " my dads language cost me a full tank of gas" and so I had to act a fool just to get them to put $10 in my tank so I could leave. Remind you* we never got a call or letter before I went up to the dealership, they just threw all of this info on me when I arrived asking about the warranty. I got a letter in the mail a week later from the bank confirming they weren't going to finance it but no explanation for why. Everyone I have spoke to about this has never heard of it happening. I just sit here and wonder what would have happened had I not gone to the dealership that morning? What would they have done had I wrecked the car ? My wife and I bought a 2018 Kia Serento on 5/23/2020. It had a dent in the hood from hail and we were told they'd have it fixed for us. My wife had to take a day off work take it up to have it fixed, they had her waiting for 4 1/2 hours until she went to ask how much longer will it take and she was told they weren't sure! Our daughter had gone with her and she said that they treated her mom like crap and acted like it was our fault. When she asked for a loner so she could take our daughter and her three children home it took them almost 2 hours! When my wife and I went to pick it up the following Saturday, the guys they had do the work were contracted out and cracked the paint when they popped the dent out and won't stand behind their work. These guys travel all over the central U.S. but don't stand behind their work! Now the Crane dealership in Fayetteville, AR. wants me to bring it up and they'll paint it for us. The problem with that is, they want to paint the hood outside on their dirt parking lot surrounded by 40 to 60 foot trees!!! I told the manager that's not except able what so ever! This vehicle has the remaining full factory warranty on it but he will not stand behind it and get the job done right. When I told him that, he got mad at me and said he wasn't going to put another dime into our SUV (with remaining full factory warranty) and told me that he never wanted to see our SUV ever again and then he hung up on me! I've called their Corp. office to get this matter resolved but not really getting anywhere with them. So, I've gone out and got three estimates and all three are reasonable. We've wasted four trips just to get 3 things done that should have been done in one trip but they failed to order the part even after I called and made sure it was going to be there on the day they fixed the dent. We're driving 160 miles round trip each time. The manager doesn't care that we're taking care of my wife's 92 year old mom with health problems and we can't get anyone to watch her so we can get this taken care of. So, my advice to anyone having trouble with a Crane dealership to call or write the Better Business Bureau and let them know what's going on. We are paying customers and we won't be treated like CRAP! We have rights too. If mine isn't resolved soon that's my next option. read more
